General Ante Gotovina u priopćenju je objasnio zašto je potpisao pismo u kojem od predsjednika Zorana Milanovića traže pomilovanje Zdravka Mustača i Josipa Perkovića, bivših obavještajaca jugoslavenske tajne policije UDBA-e koji su osuđeni na doživotni zatvor zbog sudjelovanja u atentatu Stjepana Đurekovića, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Priopćenje Ante Gotovine prenosimo u cjelosti:

- Da! Potpisao sam pismo podrške brigadirima Hrvatske vojske Josipu Perkoviću i Zdravku Mustaču, koji su uputili molbu za pomilovanjem mjerodavnoj državnoj instituciji.

Brigadira Josipa Perkovića upoznao sam početkom Domovinskog rata, prvog dana mojeg pristupanja Zboru narodne garde. Kroz sve godine rata imali smo korektnu profesionalnu suradnju. Kao pomoćnik ministra obrane, zaslužan je za izgradnju i ustroj Sigurnosno-informativne službe. Danas su ovih dvoje ljudi poodmakle životne dobi i narušenog zdravstvenog stanja.

Nisam poznavao niti jednog od njih prije 1991. i stoga ne osporavam valjanost njihovih osuda. Ovaj čin podrške je u skladu sa mojim životnim načelima.

Pravo i pravda: sjetimo se naših branitelja koji sjede u zatvorima diljem Europe, koji također traže ili će tražiti pomilovanje. Pamtimo sve procese i osude, optužbe međunarodnog kaznenog suda pod sintagmom „Udruženi zločinački pothvat“ - na čelu sa predsjednikom hrvatske države dr. Franjom Tuđmanom, ratnim ministrom obrane Gojkom Šuškom, načelnicima Glavnog stožera, zapovjednicima i svim znanim i neznanim sudionicima. Pamtimo optužbe utemeljene na lažima, manipuliranim dokazima i namještenim, iznuđenim svjedočenjima.

Nedostatak osjećaja za pravdu, manipulacije, laži, bahatost i pohlepa uzroci su sukoba i ratova među ljudima i narodima. Proživjeli smo to iskustvo kroz Domovinski rat i poslije rata, danas tome svjedočimo i u Ukrajini. Nepravde stvaraju frustracije, gnjev, mržnju i želju za osvetom. Oko za oko, zub za zub – znači nastavak sukoba i nova stradanja.

Tome nasuprot su oprost i osjećaj za milost, koji na razini čovječnosti nisu odraz slabosti, nego snage. I neprijateljskom vojniku zarobljenom tijekom bitke dužni smo sačuvati ljudsko dostojanstvo i dati potrebnu skrb.

Savjest nalaže djelovati u okviru ljudskih i zakonskih mogućnosti, kako bi ljude vratili njihovim obiteljima.

Držim da o gladi može govoriti siromah, o ratu onaj koji ga je proživio – bilo kao civil, bilo kao vojnik. O slobodi onaj, koji ju je jednom izgubio, bio u okovima i živio u tamnici, o pravdi oni, koji su otrpjeli nepravdu.

Danas su glasni teoretičari, koji imaju mišljenje o svemu – bilo bi dobro da se nauče slušati i čuti onog iz druge perspektive - ostati ponizni i, ako su vjernici, zahvaliti Gospodinu što su pošteđeni osobnog iskustva onog o čemu govore.

I pod pretpostavkom da su Josip Perković i Zdravko Mustač ispravno osuđeni, moj je stav da pravda i ljudskost zahtijevaju od nas da pružimo milosrđe. Podržao sam zahtjev za pomilovanjem ovoj dvojici hrvatskih branitelja, kao što sam već tražio i tražit ću i dalje da se milost pruži i drugim hrvatskim braniteljima koji sjede u zatvorima u Hrvatskoj i diljem Europe - napisao je general Gotovina.

Kako podsjeća Jutarnji list, Perković i Mustač osuđeni su u kolovozu 2016. na sudu u Münchenu na doživotni zatvor zbog pomaganja u ubojstvu hrvatskog emigranta Stjepana Đurekovića.

Mustač je bio optužen da je kao politički šef Službe državne sigurnosti u Zagrebu u proljeće 1982. dao nalog Perkoviću koji je u to vrijeme vodio odjel II (suzbijanje neprijateljske emigracije) u Službi državne sigurnosti u Zagrebu, da pripremi ubojstvo Đurekovića u Njemačkoj.

Đureković je likvidiran 28. srpnja 1983. godine u Wolfratshausenu, tridesetak kilometara od Münchena.

General Ante Gotovina u priopćenju je objasnio zašto je potpisao pismo u kojem od predsjednika Zorana Milanovića traže pomilovanje Zdravka Mustača i Josipa Perkovića, bivših obavještajaca jugoslavenske tajne policije UDBA-e koji su osuđeni na doživotni zatvor zbog sudjelovanja u atentatu Stjepana Đurekovića, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Priopćenje Ante Gotovine prenosimo u cjelosti:

- Da! Potpisao sam pismo podrške brigadirima Hrvatske vojske Josipu Perkoviću i Zdravku Mustaču, koji su uputili molbu za pomilovanjem mjerodavnoj državnoj instituciji.

Brigadira Josipa Perkovića upoznao sam početkom Domovinskog rata, prvog dana mojeg pristupanja Zboru narodne garde. Kroz sve godine rata imali smo korektnu profesionalnu suradnju. Kao pomoćnik ministra obrane, zaslužan je za izgradnju i ustroj Sigurnosno-informativne službe. Danas su ovih dvoje ljudi poodmakle životne dobi i narušenog zdravstvenog stanja.

Nisam poznavao niti jednog od njih prije 1991. i stoga ne osporavam valjanost njihovih osuda. Ovaj čin podrške je u skladu sa mojim životnim načelima.

Pravo i pravda: sjetimo se naših branitelja koji sjede u zatvorima diljem Europe, koji također traže ili će tražiti pomilovanje. Pamtimo sve procese i osude, optužbe međunarodnog kaznenog suda pod sintagmom „Udruženi zločinački pothvat“ - na čelu sa predsjednikom hrvatske države dr. Franjom Tuđmanom, ratnim ministrom obrane Gojkom Šuškom, načelnicima Glavnog stožera, zapovjednicima i svim znanim i neznanim sudionicima. Pamtimo optužbe utemeljene na lažima, manipuliranim dokazima i namještenim, iznuđenim svjedočenjima.

Nedostatak osjećaja za pravdu, manipulacije, laži, bahatost i pohlepa uzroci su sukoba i ratova među ljudima i narodima. Proživjeli smo to iskustvo kroz Domovinski rat i poslije rata, danas tome svjedočimo i u Ukrajini. Nepravde stvaraju frustracije, gnjev, mržnju i želju za osvetom. Oko za oko, zub za zub – znači nastavak sukoba i nova stradanja.

Tome nasuprot su oprost i osjećaj za milost, koji na razini čovječnosti nisu odraz slabosti, nego snage. I neprijateljskom vojniku zarobljenom tijekom bitke dužni smo sačuvati ljudsko dostojanstvo i dati potrebnu skrb.

Savjest nalaže djelovati u okviru ljudskih i zakonskih mogućnosti, kako bi ljude vratili njihovim obiteljima.

Držim da o gladi može govoriti siromah, o ratu onaj koji ga je proživio – bilo kao civil, bilo kao vojnik. O slobodi onaj, koji ju je jednom izgubio, bio u okovima i živio u tamnici, o pravdi oni, koji su otrpjeli nepravdu.

Danas su glasni teoretičari, koji imaju mišljenje o svemu – bilo bi dobro da se nauče slušati i čuti onog iz druge perspektive - ostati ponizni i, ako su vjernici, zahvaliti Gospodinu što su pošteđeni osobnog iskustva onog o čemu govore.

I pod pretpostavkom da su Josip Perković i Zdravko Mustač ispravno osuđeni, moj je stav da pravda i ljudskost zahtijevaju od nas da pružimo milosrđe. Podržao sam zahtjev za pomilovanjem ovoj dvojici hrvatskih branitelja, kao što sam već tražio i tražit ću i dalje da se milost pruži i drugim hrvatskim braniteljima koji sjede u zatvorima u Hrvatskoj i diljem Europe - napisao je general Gotovina.

Kako podsjeća Jutarnji list, Perković i Mustač osuđeni su u kolovozu 2016. na sudu u Münchenu na doživotni zatvor zbog pomaganja u ubojstvu hrvatskog emigranta Stjepana Đurekovića.

Mustač je bio optužen da je kao politički šef Službe državne sigurnosti u Zagrebu u proljeće 1982. dao nalog Perkoviću koji je u to vrijeme vodio odjel II (suzbijanje neprijateljske emigracije) u Službi državne sigurnosti u Zagrebu, da pripremi ubojstvo Đurekovića u Njemačkoj.

Đureković je likvidiran 28. srpnja 1983. godine u Wolfratshausenu, tridesetak kilometara od Münchena.
