Čudo je bila ta štafeta 4 puta 100 metara za sve koji su znali u kakvim uvjetima radi dubrovačka atletika, istina, ne na kraju njezino penjanje na najvišu stepenicu pobjedničkog postolja prvenstva u Varaždinu s najboljim rezultatom u povijesti kluba jer su tri od četiri članice – Samantha Radić, Ana Perović i Irena Milić - prije toga bile finalistice, među osam najboljih sprinterki u državi, četvrta – Nikoleta Ribar – doprvakinja u skoku u dalj i troskoku.

Projurile su u finalu, nakon sedam godina štafeta zagrebačkog Zrinjevca je izgubila utrku, a, napisala je tad Marija Puhiera za Dubrovački: ‘Uspjeh je još veći kad se zna da su tri članice Zrinjevca, Babić, Grganja i Markt reprezentativke koje su uz Samanthu Radić oborile te godine državni rekord na Europskom kupu u Velenju’.

Očekivano, štafeta Zvonka Radovanovića, velikog atletskog stručnjaka, ponijela je naslov najbolje ženske ekipe grada. Uspjela je to ne samo te 1995. godine, već i godinu poslije.

Prije gotovo 30 godina, kad je dubrovačka atletika bila lijepa priča hrvatskog sporta, održan je na stadionu Lapad ‘Jadranski susret’, prvi miting u povijesti koji je organizirao Atletski klub Dubrovnik. Došle su atletičarke i atletičari iz Zadra, Sinja, Svetog Duje iz Splita, pripadnici 163. Brigade HV, koji su uz domaće snage trčali po šljaci. Osim trčanja zastupljeni su bili i skokovi te bacanja...

Pamti se te 1995. godine na šljaci nastup hrvatskog reprezentativca, Zadranima Slobodana Mijolovića, brončanog 1994. godine s Kupa Europe na 800 metara.

Prošlo je od tad više od 28 godina. Opet se organizira miting da se ukaže na činjenicu kako kraljica sportova u Dubrovniku još uvijek nema uvjete. I dalje se prvenstva osnovnih i srednjih škola u atletici (ne računamo kros) održavaju u drugoj županiji, jer ne samo u središtu Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, već nigdje u njoj nema atletsko borilište.

I tih 90-ih, danas pokojni Zvonko Radovanović, koji nas je napustio 2011. godine, tražio rješenje skupa s neumornim Josipom Karačićem. Naslušali su se obećanja.

Nažalost, u tih nekoliko desetljeća, koliko se govori o atletskom borilištu, još nismo čuli gdje se planira napraviti budući na postojećem ‘stadionu‘ za to nema prostora. Čekamo i dalje.

Peto Otvoreno prvenstvo Dubrovnika u atletici, koje je u kalendaru Hrvatskog atletskog saveza, a koje bi, kao i lani, trebalo okupiti stotine zaljubljenika u kraljicu sportova u organizaciji dubrovačkog kluba, i ne samo iz Hrvatske, održava se u subotu, 7. prosinca. Trčat će se na Lapadu, skakati, bacati od jutra do mraka.

Čudo je bila ta štafeta 4 puta 100 metara za sve koji su znali u kakvim uvjetima radi dubrovačka atletika, istina, ne na kraju njezino penjanje na najvišu stepenicu pobjedničkog postolja prvenstva u Varaždinu s najboljim rezultatom u povijesti kluba jer su tri od četiri članice – Samantha Radić, Ana Perović i Irena Milić - prije toga bile finalistice, među osam najboljih sprinterki u državi, četvrta – Nikoleta Ribar – doprvakinja u skoku u dalj i troskoku.

Projurile su u finalu, nakon sedam godina štafeta zagrebačkog Zrinjevca je izgubila utrku, a, napisala je tad Marija Puhiera za Dubrovački: ‘Uspjeh je još veći kad se zna da su tri članice Zrinjevca, Babić, Grganja i Markt reprezentativke koje su uz Samanthu Radić oborile te godine državni rekord na Europskom kupu u Velenju’.

Očekivano, štafeta Zvonka Radovanovića, velikog atletskog stručnjaka, ponijela je naslov najbolje ženske ekipe grada. Uspjela je to ne samo te 1995. godine, već i godinu poslije.

Prije gotovo 30 godina, kad je dubrovačka atletika bila lijepa priča hrvatskog sporta, održan je na stadionu Lapad ‘Jadranski susret’, prvi miting u povijesti koji je organizirao Atletski klub Dubrovnik. Došle su atletičarke i atletičari iz Zadra, Sinja, Svetog Duje iz Splita, pripadnici 163. Brigade HV, koji su uz domaće snage trčali po šljaci. Osim trčanja zastupljeni su bili i skokovi te bacanja...

Pamti se te 1995. godine na šljaci nastup hrvatskog reprezentativca, Zadranima Slobodana Mijolovića, brončanog 1994. godine s Kupa Europe na 800 metara.

Prošlo je od tad više od 28 godina. Opet se organizira miting da se ukaže na činjenicu kako kraljica sportova u Dubrovniku još uvijek nema uvjete. I dalje se prvenstva osnovnih i srednjih škola u atletici (ne računamo kros) održavaju u drugoj županiji, jer ne samo u središtu Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, već nigdje u njoj nema atletsko borilište.

I tih 90-ih, danas pokojni Zvonko Radovanović, koji nas je napustio 2011. godine, tražio rješenje skupa s neumornim Josipom Karačićem. Naslušali su se obećanja.

Nažalost, u tih nekoliko desetljeća, koliko se govori o atletskom borilištu, još nismo čuli gdje se planira napraviti budući na postojećem ‘stadionu‘ za to nema prostora. Čekamo i dalje.

Peto Otvoreno prvenstvo Dubrovnika u atletici, koje je u kalendaru Hrvatskog atletskog saveza, a koje bi, kao i lani, trebalo okupiti stotine zaljubljenika u kraljicu sportova u organizaciji dubrovačkog kluba, i ne samo iz Hrvatske, održava se u subotu, 7. prosinca. Trčat će se na Lapadu, skakati, bacati od jutra do mraka.

Podsjetnik na jednu prekrasnu priču umjesto najave Otvorenog prvenstva Dubrovnika te na činjenicu kako još nismo čuli gdje ima prostora za kraljicu sportova

Čudo je bila ta štafeta 4 puta 100 metara za sve koji su znali u kakvim uvjetima radi dubrovačka atletika, istina, ne na kraju njezino penjanje na najvišu stepenicu pobjedničkog postolja prvenstva u Varaždinu s najboljim rezultatom u povijesti kluba jer su tri od četiri članice – Samantha Radić, Ana Perović i Irena Milić - prije toga bile finalistice, među osam najboljih sprinterki u državi, četvrta – Nikoleta Ribar – doprvakinja u skoku u dalj i troskoku.

Projurile su u finalu, nakon sedam godina štafeta zagrebačkog Zrinjevca je izgubila utrku, a, napisala je tad Marija Puhiera za Dubrovački: ‘Uspjeh je još veći kad se zna da su tri članice Zrinjevca, Babić, Grganja i Markt reprezentativke koje su uz Samanthu Radić oborile te godine državni rekord na Europskom kupu u Velenju’.

Očekivano, štafeta Zvonka Radovanovića, velikog atletskog stručnjaka, ponijela je naslov najbolje ženske ekipe grada. Uspjela je to ne samo te 1995. godine, već i godinu poslije.

Prije gotovo 30 godina, kad je dubrovačka atletika bila lijepa priča hrvatskog sporta, održan je na stadionu Lapad ‘Jadranski susret’, prvi miting u povijesti koji je organizirao Atletski klub Dubrovnik. Došle su atletičarke i atletičari iz Zadra, Sinja, Svetog Duje iz Splita, pripadnici 163. Brigade HV, koji su uz domaće snage trčali po šljaci. Osim trčanja zastupljeni su bili i skokovi te bacanja...

Pamti se te 1995. godine na šljaci nastup hrvatskog reprezentativca, Zadranima Slobodana Mijolovića, brončanog 1994. godine s Kupa Europe na 800 metara.

Prošlo je od tad više od 28 godina. Opet se organizira miting da se ukaže na činjenicu kako kraljica sportova u Dubrovniku još uvijek nema uvjete. I dalje se prvenstva osnovnih i srednjih škola u atletici (ne računamo kros) održavaju u drugoj županiji, jer ne samo u središtu Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, već nigdje u njoj nema atletsko borilište.
