Koje su razlike između raka prostate i raka testisa, koji su simptomi te koga najviše pogađaju

Studeni je mjesec borbe protiv raka prostate i raka testisa, stoga je važno podići svijesti o ovim malignim bolestima koje se događaju muškarcima kako bi ih se na vrijeme moglo spriječiti. Prema Hrvatskoj ligi protiv raka, rak testisa najčešći je tumor muškaraca mlađe životne dobi, a posljednjih 40 godina bilježi se udvostručenje pojavnosti tog tumora, dok je rak prostate drugi najučestaliji maligni tumor muškaraca, odmah iza raka pluća. Radi učestalosti i utjecaja na kvalitetu života predstavlja značajan, rak prostate predstavlja javnozdravstveni problem, donosi zivim.gloria.hr.

Prostata i testisi su dijelovi muškog reproduktivnog sustava te dijele slične funkcije, oba organa su zaslužna za proizvodnju sjemena. Testisi također proizvode testosteron, koji utječe na funkcioniranje prostate.

Dr. sc. Igor Grubišić, specijalist urologije, otkrio je koje su razlike između raka testisa i raka prostate, koga one zahvaćaju te kako se mogu uočiti.

- Rak testisa je maligna bolest testisa koja zahvaća obično mlađe muškarce, do 40. ili 45. godine života. Dok je rak prostate maligna bolest prostate koja zahvaća starije muškarce, najčešće starije od 50 godina. Nažalost, razlozi razvoja obje vrste karcinoma još uvijek nisu poznati - rekao je dr. Grubišić.

Samopregled testisa i pregled prostate

Urolog navodi kako je za rano otkrivanje raka testisa potrebno raditi samopregled, i to prilikom svakog tuširanja.

- Radi se lagana palpacija testisa, a svaka kvržica, tvrda ili bezbolna je sumnjiva i zahtjeva daljnju urološku dijagnostiku. Nakon što se na testisima otkrije sumnjiva kvržica radi se ultrazvuk, a na temelju toga se tumorskim markerima dijagnosticira rak testisa. Nažalost, rak prostate nije moguće uočiti, napipati niti napraviti samopregled, dijagnosticirati ga može samo urolog biopsijom prostate, invazivnom metodom dijagnostike - objasnio nam je.

S pregledom prostate treba započeti u dobi od 50 godina kad se prilikom posjeta urologa radi PSA (prostata specifični antigen), tumorski biljeg za prostatu, a ako je sve u redu preporučuje se godišnji pregled PSA, ističe liječnik te dodaje kako muškarci čiji su stričevi i očevi oboljeli od raka prostate spadaju u rizičniju skupinu.

Kada je riječ o raku testisa u rizičniju skupinu spadaju muškarci koji su u djetinjstvu imali operaciju testisa, odnosno spuštanje testisa, kaže dr. Grubišić.

- Ne postoje vanjski čimbenici koji mogu utjecati na rak prostate i rak testisa. Dakle, ako muškarac nešto izbjegava ili više koristi, neće se povećati sigurnost. Stoga je važno redovito raditi samopregled i pregled kod liječnika - istaknuo je sugovornik.

Simptomi i liječenje

Kako bi svaki muškarac mogao spriječiti rak ili zaustaviti njegovo širenje, važno je prepoznati simptome na vrijeme. No, dr. Grubišić ističe kako u početnoj fazi rak prostate nema simptome.

- Dakle u početnoj fazi kad je optimalno da otkrijemo rak prostate, on nema simptome. Ono što ljudi brkaju su problemi s mokrenjem što je učestalo kod benigne hiperplazije prostate, odnosno povećanja prostate. Navedeni simptom se javlja u uznapredovaloj fazi raka prostate, a ako se radi već o metastaziranju onda se javljaju i bolovi u leđima i kostima - objasnio je urolog. Dodaje kako se kod raka testisa obično javljaju kvržice te povećanje testisa, ali drugih simptoma nema.

Obje vrste raka se liječe kirurški, odnosno odstranjenjem testisa ili prostate, kaže liječnik, a ovisno o potrebi radi se kemoterapija ili radioterapija.

S obzirom na to da je studeni mjesec brige o muškom zdravlju liječnik je dao savjet kako se muškarci mogu brinuti o sebi.

- Muškarci općenito trebaju brinuti o svom zdravlju kroz zdravu prehranu i zdrav način života, pazeći na erekciju i plodnost jer svi ti faktori dovode do većeg zdravlje te zadovoljstva životom - zaključio je, zivim.gloria.hr.

Koje su razlike između raka prostate i raka testisa, koji su simptomi te koga najviše pogađaju

Studeni je mjesec borbe protiv raka prostate i raka testisa, stoga je važno podići svijesti o ovim malignim bolestima koje se događaju muškarcima kako bi ih se na vrijeme moglo spriječiti. Prema Hrvatskoj ligi protiv raka, rak testisa najčešći je tumor muškaraca mlađe životne dobi, a posljednjih 40 godina bilježi se udvostručenje pojavnosti tog tumora, dok je rak prostate drugi najučestaliji maligni tumor muškaraca, odmah iza raka pluća. Radi učestalosti i utjecaja na kvalitetu života predstavlja značajan, rak prostate predstavlja javnozdravstveni problem, donosi zivim.gloria.hr.

Prostata i testisi su dijelovi muškog reproduktivnog sustava te dijele slične funkcije, oba organa su zaslužna za proizvodnju sjemena. Testisi također proizvode testosteron, koji utječe na funkcioniranje prostate.

Dr. sc. Igor Grubišić, specijalist urologije, otkrio je koje su razlike između raka testisa i raka prostate, koga one zahvaćaju te kako se mogu uočiti.

- Rak testisa je maligna bolest testisa koja zahvaća obično mlađe muškarce, do 40. ili 45. godine života. Dok je rak prostate maligna bolest prostate koja zahvaća starije muškarce, najčešće starije od 50 godina. Nažalost, razlozi razvoja obje vrste karcinoma još uvijek nisu poznati - rekao je dr. Grubišić.

Samopregled testisa i pregled prostate

Urolog navodi kako je za rano otkrivanje raka testisa potrebno raditi samopregled, i to prilikom svakog tuširanja.

- Radi se lagana palpacija testisa, a svaka kvržica, tvrda ili bezbolna je sumnjiva i zahtjeva daljnju urološku dijagnostiku. Nakon što se na testisima otkrije sumnjiva kvržica radi se ultrazvuk, a na temelju toga se tumorskim markerima dijagnosticira rak testisa. Nažalost, rak prostate nije moguće uočiti, napipati niti napraviti samopregled, dijagnosticirati ga može samo urolog biopsijom prostate, invazivnom metodom dijagnostike - objasnio nam je.

S pregledom prostate treba započeti u dobi od 50 godina kad se prilikom posjeta urologa radi PSA (prostata specifični antigen), tumorski biljeg za prostatu, a ako je sve u redu preporučuje se godišnji pregled PSA, ističe liječnik te dodaje kako muškarci čiji su stričevi i očevi oboljeli od raka prostate spadaju u rizičniju skupinu.

Kada je riječ o raku testisa u rizičniju skupinu spadaju muškarci koji su u djetinjstvu imali operaciju testisa, odnosno spuštanje testisa, kaže dr. Grubišić.

- Ne postoje vanjski čimbenici koji mogu utjecati na rak prostate i rak testisa. Dakle, ako muškarac nešto izbjegava ili više koristi, neće se povećati sigurnost. Stoga je važno redovito raditi samopregled i pregled kod liječnika - istaknuo je sugovornik.

Simptomi i liječenje

Obje vrste raka se liječe kirurški, odnosno odstranjenjem testisa ili prostate, kaže liječnik, a ovisno o potrebi radi se kemoterapija ili radioterapija.

S obzirom na to da je studeni mjesec brige o muškom zdravlju liječnik je dao savjet kako se muškarci mogu brinuti o sebi.

Koje su razlike između raka prostate i raka testisa, koji su simptomi te koga najviše pogađaju

Studeni je mjesec borbe protiv raka prostate i raka testisa, stoga je važno podići svijesti o ovim malignim bolestima koje se događaju muškarcima kako bi ih se na vrijeme moglo spriječiti. Prema Hrvatskoj ligi protiv raka, rak testisa najčešći je tumor muškaraca mlađe životne dobi, a posljednjih 40 godina bilježi se udvostručenje pojavnosti tog tumora, dok je rak prostate drugi najučestaliji maligni tumor muškaraca, odmah iza raka pluća. Radi učestalosti i utjecaja na kvalitetu života predstavlja značajan, rak prostate predstavlja javnozdravstveni problem, donosi zivim.gloria.hr.

Prostata i testisi su dijelovi muškog reproduktivnog sustava te dijele slične funkcije, oba organa su zaslužna za proizvodnju sjemena. Testisi također proizvode testosteron, koji utječe na funkcioniranje prostate.

Dr. sc. Igor Grubišić, specijalist urologije, otkrio je koje su razlike između raka testisa i raka prostate, koga one zahvaćaju te kako se mogu uočiti.

- Rak testisa je maligna bolest testisa koja zahvaća obično mlađe muškarce, do 40. ili 45. godine života. Dok je rak prostate maligna bolest prostate koja zahvaća starije muškarce, najčešće starije od 50 godina. Nažalost, razlozi razvoja obje vrste karcinoma još uvijek nisu poznati - rekao je dr. Grubišić.

Samopregled testisa i pregled prostate

Urolog navodi kako je za rano otkrivanje raka testisa potrebno raditi samopregled, i to prilikom svakog tuširanja.

- Radi se lagana palpacija testisa, a svaka kvržica, tvrda ili bezbolna je sumnjiva i zahtjeva daljnju urološku dijagnostiku. Nakon što se na testisima otkrije sumnjiva kvržica radi se ultrazvuk, a na temelju toga se tumorskim markerima dijagnosticira rak testisa. Nažalost, rak prostate nije moguće uočiti, napipati niti napraviti samopregled, dijagnosticirati ga može samo urolog biopsijom prostate, invazivnom metodom dijagnostike - objasnio nam je.

S pregledom prostate treba započeti u dobi od 50 godina kad se prilikom posjeta urologa radi PSA (prostata specifični antigen), tumorski biljeg za prostatu, a ako je sve u redu preporučuje se godišnji pregled PSA, ističe liječnik te dodaje kako muškarci čiji su stričevi i očevi oboljeli od raka prostate spadaju u rizičniju skupinu.

Kada je riječ o raku testisa u rizičniju skupinu spadaju muškarci koji su u djetinjstvu imali operaciju testisa, odnosno spuštanje testisa, kaže dr. Grubišić.
