Nedavne studije opovrgle su teoriju da je jedna čaša vina dnevno korisna za zdravlje.

Čak i male količine vina, piva ili koktela ugrožavaju zdravlje. Prošle je godine neprofitna Svjetska federacija za srce osporila široko rasprostranjenu ideju da je čaša vina dnevno dobra za zdravlje. Istaknuli su da bilo koja količina alkohola povećava rizik od srčanih bolesti, moždanog udara i aneurizme, piše National Geographic.

Čak i kada konzumiraju istu količinu alkohola kao i muškarci, žene su podložnije njegovim negativnim učincima. Stručnjaci to pravdaju činjenicom da žene imaju više masnog tkiva i manje vode od muškaraca slične težine, što za posljedicu ima veću koncentraciju alkohola u krvi. Žene također imaju manje enzima koji metaboliziraju alkohol. Smatra se da njihove hormonalne fluktuacije igraju ulogu u brzini razgradnje alkohola.

Prema istraživanjima, žene koje konzumiraju alkohol imaju više zdravstvenih problema od muškaraca. Također, žene koje piju dva pića dnevno ili manje imaju povećan rizik od smrti.

Kako navode istraživači, prema statistikama napravljenim u 2018. godini, njihov se broj drastično povećao. Smrtnost žena godišnje raste za 15 posto, a muškaraca za 12,5 posto.

"Ovi podaci nisu očekivani, a uz upotrebu alkohola raste i upotreba opijata. Često se miješaju i uzrokuju kolaps i smrt", rekao je Ibrahim Karai, koautor studije zadužen za zdravlje stanovništva istraživanje sa Sveučilišta Hofstra u Hempsteadu, New York.

Smrt od trovanja alkoholom nastupa brzo, često zbog iznenadnog zatajenja srca ili insuficijencije jetre i gušterače.

Česta konzumacija alkohola može dovesti do raka dojke, a životni rizik može se povećati i do 9 posto, ako se popije samo jedno piće dnevno. Tada dolazi do poremećaja imunološkog sustava, što može povećati infekcije i otežati postoperativni oporavak.

Problemi s plodnošću i rana menopauza također su povezani s alkoholom. Žene koje prekomjerno piju izlažu svoju djecu riziku od fizičkih, mentalnih problema i problema u ponašanju.

"Procjenjuje se da oko 29,5 milijuna Amerikanaca ima poremećaj ovisnosti o alkoholu. Ali žene koje imaju problem traže pomoć rjeđe od muškaraca. Godišnje se kod sedam posto muškaraca i četiri posto žena dijagnosticira alkoholizam", rekla je Druthy Petel, specijalist psihijatrije ovisnosti na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Miamiju.

"Oni koji se često oslanjaju na alkohol kako bi kontrolirali stres ili koji redovito doživljavaju simptome prekomjerne konzumacije, poput letargije ili maglovitih misli, trebali bi razgovarati sa svojim liječnikom. Liječnik može preporučiti posjet terapeutu kako bi naučio alternativne tehnike upravljanja stresom ili da osoba pridružite se grupi podrške", istaknula je Petelova.

Također se preporučuje posjet psihijatru koji može propisati lijekove za smanjenje žudnje, kao što su naltrekson, disulfiram i akamprosat. Međutim, kao što je navedeno u Karaijevoj studiji, ovi lijekovi - kao i mnogi drugi - prvenstveno su proučavani na muškarcima, tako da nije sigurno koliko poboljšavaju zdravlje ili smrtnost žena.

"Nesanica je nestala, a zamijenio ju je dubok i kvalitetan san. Koža mi je čišća, bolje raspoloženje i nema naglih promjena raspoloženja, a koncentracija za posao odlična", rekla je žena ovisna o alkoholu, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.

Nedavne studije opovrgle su teoriju da je jedna čaša vina dnevno korisna za zdravlje.

Čak i male količine vina, piva ili koktela ugrožavaju zdravlje. Prošle je godine neprofitna Svjetska federacija za srce osporila široko rasprostranjenu ideju da je čaša vina dnevno dobra za zdravlje. Istaknuli su da bilo koja količina alkohola povećava rizik od srčanih bolesti, moždanog udara i aneurizme, piše National Geographic.

Stručnjaci to pravdaju činjenicom da žene imaju više masnog tkiva i manje vode od muškaraca slične težine, što za posljedicu ima veću koncentraciju alkohola u krvi. Žene također imaju manje enzima koji metaboliziraju alkohol. Smatra se da njihove hormonalne fluktuacije igraju ulogu u brzini razgradnje alkohola.

Prema istraživanjima, žene koje konzumiraju alkohol imaju više zdravstvenih problema od muškaraca. Također, žene koje piju dva pića dnevno ili manje imaju povećan rizik od smrti.

Kako navode istraživači, prema statistikama napravljenim u 2018. godini, njihov se broj drastično povećao. Smrtnost žena godišnje raste za 15 posto, a muškaraca za 12,5 posto.

"Ovi podaci nisu očekivani, a uz upotrebu alkohola raste i upotreba opijata. Često se miješaju i uzrokuju kolaps i smrt", rekao je Ibrahim Karai, koautor studije zadužen za zdravlje stanovništva istraživanje sa Sveučilišta Hofstra u Hempsteadu, New York.

Smrt od trovanja alkoholom nastupa brzo, često zbog iznenadnog zatajenja srca ili insuficijencije jetre i gušterače.

Česta konzumacija alkohola može dovesti do raka dojke, a životni rizik može se povećati i do 9 posto, ako se popije samo jedno piće dnevno. Tada dolazi do poremećaja imunološkog sustava, što može povećati infekcije i otežati postoperativni oporavak.

Problemi s plodnošću i rana menopauza također su povezani s alkoholom. Žene koje prekomjerno piju izlažu svoju djecu riziku od fizičkih, mentalnih problema i problema u ponašanju.

"Procjenjuje se da oko 29,5 milijuna Amerikanaca ima poremećaj ovisnosti o alkoholu. Ali žene koje imaju problem traže pomoć rjeđe od muškaraca. Godišnje se kod sedam posto muškaraca i četiri posto žena dijagnosticira alkoholizam", rekla je Druthy Petel, specijalist psihijatrije ovisnosti na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Miamiju.

"Oni koji se često oslanjaju na alkohol kako bi kontrolirali stres ili koji redovito doživljavaju simptome prekomjerne konzumacije, poput letargije ili maglovitih misli, trebali bi razgovarati sa svojim liječnikom. Liječnik može preporučiti posjet terapeutu kako bi naučio alternativne tehnike upravljanja stresom ili da osoba pridružite se grupi podrške", istaknula je Petelova.

Također se preporučuje posjet psihijatru koji može propisati lijekove za smanjenje žudnje, kao što su naltrekson, disulfiram i akamprosat. Međutim, kao što je navedeno u Karaijevoj studiji, ovi lijekovi - kao i mnogi drugi - prvenstveno su proučavani na muškarcima, tako da nije sigurno koliko poboljšavaju zdravlje ili smrtnost žena.

"Nesanica je nestala, a zamijenio ju je dubok i kvalitetan san. Koža mi je čišća, bolje raspoloženje i nema naglih promjena raspoloženja, a koncentracija za posao odlična", rekla je žena ovisna o alkoholu, prenosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
