Zupa Lake is officially opened!

When it has been raining heavily for the past week in Dubrovnik it pays to have a sense of humour to keep spirits high. And a group of citizens from Zupa proved that today with a “performance” at the site of the new shopping centre. The ground for the new shopping centre has been excavated and a combination of the rain water and water from drains has filled the hole and formed a large pond.The group dressed in fishing gear, complete with fishing rods, nets and waders and opened the fishing season in Zupa. The carnival has come to Zupa, the group called the action “Fishing in the new Zupa Lake.” The jokingly added that the minister of agriculture was unable to come to the official opening of the new Zupa Lake but the people of Zupa thank him for opening new jobs at the Zupa Lake.Bravo to all those involved in this comedy performance!Zupa Lake is open for business
