Dubrovnik cable car to close during winter

If you were thinking of catching the cable car throughout the winter months...think again. During the upcoming winter period the Dubrovnik cable car will be closed, reports the owners and operators Excelsa.After six years of constant operation the cable car is due for routine maintenance. The manufacturer of the cable car recommend maintenance after such a period and Excelsa will use this opportunity to improve the facilities and equipment in preparation for the 2016 season.The Dubrovnik cable car will therefore be closed from the 23rd of November 2015 to early March 2016.
