Concession granted for Dubrovnik cable car

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure on the 13th of November agreed with the granting of a concession for the City of Dubrovnik cable car to transport people from Dubrovnik to the Srd Mountain.The fixed part of the concession fee amounts to 12,000 Kuna per year, or 1,000 per month. The duration of the concession was established for a period of up to 50 years. After the approval issued by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure the City of Dubrovnik expects the remaining agreements as soon as possible.Now the Dubrovnik city councillors will have to agree upon all the elements of the contract and present this at a session of the City Council. The concession fee for the cable car will start to be calculated from the 8th of July 2015.The annual budget receipts that the City of Dubrovnik will receive from the concession fee will be around 5.5 million Kuna.
