Ukrajinska i ruska obitelj nosile su križ na procesiji Križnog puta koju je u Rimu predvodio Papa Franjo, ali nije pročitana prvotno predviđena meditacija koju su kritizirali poglavar ukrajinskih katolika i ukrajinski veleposlanik u Vatikanu.

Tradicionalni Križni put na Veliki petak u Koloseju sastoji se od 14 postaja, faza između osude Isusa na smrt i njegovog pokopa.

Često je prilagođen tako da oni koji nose križ s jedne postaje na drugu odražavaju svjetska zbivanja.

Tako su na 13. postaji križ nosile ukrajinska i ruska obitelj, ali nije pročitan tekst meditacije koju su napisale dvije prijateljice - Ruskinja i Ukrajinka zaposlene u rimskoj bolnici.

Umjesto prvotno predviđene meditacije rečeno je: “Pred smrću, šutnja je rječitija od riječi. Zato zastanimo u tišini i pomolimo se za mir u svijetu", prenosi Katolička novinska agencija (CNA).

Odluku Vatikana ranije su kritizirali ukrajinski katolički biskupi.

"Smatram takvu ideju neprikladnom, dvosmislenom i takvom da ne uzima u obzir kontekst ruske vojne agresije na Ukrajinu", rekao je u srijedu veliki nadbiskup kijevsko-halički Svjatoslav Ševčuk, poglavar Ukrajinske katoličke Crkve bizantskog obreda.

U meditaciji koju je prvotno odobrio Vatikan govorilo se o gubitku vrijednosti, bijesu, rezignaciji i pomirenju unatoč raketiranju, navodi Reuters.

Ševčuk je kazao da je taj tekst "nekoherentan, pa čak i uvredljiv, posebno u kontekstu očekivanog drugog, još krvavijeg napada ruskih trupa na naše gradove i sela".

Ukrajinski veleposlanik u Vatikanu Andrij Juraš u srijedu je istaknuo da dijeli Ševčukovu zabrinutost te da radi s Vatikanom kako bi pokušao "objasniti poteškoće realizacije i moguće posljedice".

Papa je u molitvi na procesiji zamolio Boga da "okrene naša buntovna srca svome srcu kako bismo naučili slijediti planove mira".

"Razoružaj ruku koju je brat podigao na brata kako bi tamo gdje postoji mržnja procvjetala sloga", kazao je papa Franjo.

Otkako je počeo rat, papa Franjo je samo eksplicitno spomenuo Rusiju u molitvama, kao na primjer tijekom posebnog globalnog događaja za mir 25. ožujka. No jasno je rekao da se protivi ruskim postupcima, koristeći riječi invazija, agresija i zvjerstva.

Ukrajinska i ruska obitelj nosile su križ na procesiji Križnog puta koju je u Rimu predvodio Papa Franjo, ali nije pročitana prvotno predviđena meditacija koju su kritizirali poglavar ukrajinskih katolika i ukrajinski veleposlanik u Vatikanu.

Tradicionalni Križni put na Veliki petak u Koloseju sastoji se od 14 postaja, faza između osude Isusa na smrt i njegovog pokopa.

Često je prilagođen tako da oni koji nose križ s jedne postaje na drugu odražavaju svjetska zbivanja.

Tako su na 13. postaji križ nosile ukrajinska i ruska obitelj, ali nije pročitan tekst meditacije koju su napisale dvije prijateljice - Ruskinja i Ukrajinka zaposlene u rimskoj bolnici.

Umjesto prvotno predviđene meditacije rečeno je: “Pred smrću, šutnja je rječitija od riječi. Zato zastanimo u tišini i pomolimo se za mir u svijetu", prenosi Katolička novinska agencija (CNA).

Odluku Vatikana ranije su kritizirali ukrajinski katolički biskupi.

"Smatram takvu ideju neprikladnom, dvosmislenom i takvom da ne uzima u obzir kontekst ruske vojne agresije na Ukrajinu", rekao je u srijedu veliki nadbiskup kijevsko-halički Svjatoslav Ševčuk, poglavar Ukrajinske katoličke Crkve bizantskog obreda.

U meditaciji koju je prvotno odobrio Vatikan govorilo se o gubitku vrijednosti, bijesu, rezignaciji i pomirenju unatoč raketiranju, navodi Reuters.

Ševčuk je kazao da je taj tekst "nekoherentan, pa čak i uvredljiv, posebno u kontekstu očekivanog drugog, još krvavijeg napada ruskih trupa na naše gradove i sela".

Ukrajinski veleposlanik u Vatikanu Andrij Juraš u srijedu je istaknuo da dijeli Ševčukovu zabrinutost te da radi s Vatikanom kako bi pokušao "objasniti poteškoće realizacije i moguće posljedice".

Papa je u molitvi na procesiji zamolio Boga da "okrene naša buntovna srca svome srcu kako bismo naučili slijediti planove mira".

"Razoružaj ruku koju je brat podigao na brata kako bi tamo gdje postoji mržnja procvjetala sloga", kazao je papa Franjo.

Otkako je počeo rat, papa Franjo je samo eksplicitno spomenuo Rusiju u molitvama, kao na primjer tijekom posebnog globalnog događaja za mir 25. ožujka. No jasno je rekao da se protivi ruskim postupcima, koristeći riječi invazija, agresija i zvjerstva.
