Vladimir Putin se nakon dugo vremena obratio javnosti. Pa je to odmah proglašeno “iznenadnim” i “neočekivanim”. Izdao je dekret o dodatnoj mobilizaciji ruske vojske i podržao takozvane narodne referendume u Donbasu o pripajanju Rusiji. Pa se u tome odmah iščitala nova eskalacija rusko-ukrajinskog rata. Oštricu svojega govora usmjerio je prema Zapadu, priprijetivši i nuklearnim oružjem.

Pa je njegov govor odmah dobio oznaku – dramatičan i opasan. A vrijedni novinari istraživači odmah su krenuli po tržnicama ispitati tete jesu li očistile podrume i kupile jod. Za slučaj da... No u svojoj biti, naposljetku je to bio samo govor jednog imperijalnog diktatora u silaznoj putanji, koji gubi rat, a sad pokušava zaustaviti i vlastiti pad.

Saveznik Dodik

No krenimo redom. Istina je da se Putin dugo nije obratio javnosti, ali nije se imao čime ni pohvaliti. U “specijalnoj operaciji” u Ukrajini gubio je korak po korak, bitku za bitkom. No njegovo ovotjedno obraćanje nije bilo nimalo iznenađujuće ili neuobičajeno. Tajming je određen tradicionalnim tjednom obraćanja šefova država i vlada Općoj skupštini UN-a u New Yorku.

Vladimir Putin poslao je svoju prijeteću poruku iz Moskve, upućenu više svijetu, nego Rusima, dan prije nego što se Glavnoj skupštini obratio američki predsjednik Joe Biden. No nije to djelovalo nimalo pobjednički. Upravo suprotno. Na međunarodnom planu od njega su se nedavno distancirali i donedavni pouzdani brat, kineski vođa Xi Jinping i donedavni polusaveznici, poput turskog vođe Recepa T. Erdogana, od njega se postupno distanciraju donedavno vjerne bivše republike SSSR-a.

Ispada da mu je glavni saveznik ostao Milorad Dodik, koji ga je i otišao poduprijeti u Moskvu. U neka druga vremena, prije korone i prije ruske “specijalne operacije” u Ukrajini, Vladimir Putin je na zasjedanju UN-a u New Yorku bio tretiran kao vođa svjetske velesile. Sad, međunarodno izoliran, šalje poruke iz svojega moskovskog “bunkera”. Njegov ministar vanjskih poslova (i bivši veleposlanik pri UN-u u New Yorku) Sergej Lavrov nekoć je bio jedan od najutjecajnijih diplomata pri UN-u. Sad je nakon svoga govora “pobjegao” s ministarske sjednice Vijeća sigurnosti, da ne sluša osude na račun Rusije. Pitanje je hoće li nagodinu smjeti ili moći uopće doći na zasjedanje UN-a u New York? Ili će ga zaustaviti optužnice za ratne zločine?

Dodatna mobilizacija i potpora “narodnim referendumima” u Donbasu također nisu znak Putinove snage, već znak slabosti. (Sjećamo se modelski istovjetnih predstava “prisajedinjenja” srpskih država u Hrvatskoj i BiH pred kraj srpskog osvajačkog rata 90-ih.) No organiziranjem referenduma, kao pripreme za aneksiju Donbasa, Putin zapravo poručuje da bi želio ući u neke mirovne pregovore i računa da će mu referendumi biti neki adut.

Ali, ono što mu je pošlo za rukom 2014. s Krimom, da ga anektira gotovo bez ukrajinskog otpora i uz šutnju međunarodne zajednice, danas više ne može proći s Donbasom. Ni vojno, ni međunarodno-politički. Od dodatne mobilizacije (oko 300.000 rezervista), nakon pola godine ratnih neuspjeha, više razloga ima strahovati sam Putin (na unutarnjem ruskom planu), nego Zelenski (na ukrajinskom ratištu). Nije baš tako lako uvesti 300.000 novih rezervista u osvajački rat koji gubiš.

Njemačke prijetnje

Nuklearna prijetnja Zapadu posljednje je Putinovo (verbalno) oružje. Ali ne ide to baš tako da Vladimir Putin, u očaju zbog gubitka rata, pritisne gumb i uništi svijet. Jedna od vrlo važnih (doduše ne i u javnosti široko elaboriranih) vijesti na početku ruske invazije, bila je vijest o funkcioniranju crvene linije između ruskog i američkog vojnog zapovjedništva, čime su nuklearni potencijali pod propisanim vojnim nadzorom kroz racionalnu proceduru. Nisu prepušteni trenutačnoj inspiraciji očajnika, ma bio on i predsjednik Rusije. No svojom prijetnjom nuklearnim oružjem Vladimir Putin je dodatno ujedinio Zapad (NATO i EU). Čak je i rezervirani njemački kancelar Olaf Scholz za govornicom UN-a zagrmio protiv Putinovih imperijalnih ratova i nuklearnih prijetnji. A možda će napokon i poslati one obećane tenkove Ukrajini.

Vladimir Putin svojim je javnim obraćanjem pokušao odglumiti realnu prijetnju. A praktički istodobno, u razmjeni ratnih zarobljenika pristao je pustiti iz ruskog zatočeništva ne samo nekoliko stranaca koji su se borili u ukrajinskoj vojsci, uključujući i Hrvata Vjekoslava Prebega, već i najviše rangirane zapovjednike Azova Denisa Prokopenka i Svjatoslava Palomara, kao i preživjele borce iz Azovstalja, posljednjeg i legendarnog uporišta obrane Mariupolja.

Za rusku ratnu propagandu borci i zapovjednici Azova bili su esencija “nacizma” i glavni cilj u “denacifikaciji Ukrajine”. Njihovim puštanjem na slobodu Putin šalje suštinski sasvim drukčiju poruku od one koju je poslao javnosti iz svojega kremaljskog bunkera: on bi sad bio spreman pregovarati. Ali okolnosti su se promijenile. On gubi rat, ne samo vojno, već i politički.

Čak je i njegov polusaveznik Erdogan ovih dana jasno rekao da su i Donbas i Krim neosporno ukrajinski teritorij. Putin, dakle, nema o čemu pregovarati – osim o povlačenju ruske vojske, što bi značilo priznanje poraza. Njegova uloga kao da nije predviđena u sljedećoj epizodi. •

Vladimir Putin se nakon dugo vremena obratio javnosti. Pa je to odmah proglašeno “iznenadnim” i “neočekivanim”. Izdao je dekret o dodatnoj mobilizaciji ruske vojske i podržao takozvane narodne referendume u Donbasu o pripajanju Rusiji. Pa se u tome odmah iščitala nova eskalacija rusko-ukrajinskog rata. Oštricu svojega govora usmjerio je prema Zapadu, priprijetivši i nuklearnim oružjem.

Pa je njegov govor odmah dobio oznaku – dramatičan i opasan. A vrijedni novinari istraživači odmah su krenuli po tržnicama ispitati tete jesu li očistile podrume i kupile jod. Za slučaj da... No u svojoj biti, naposljetku je to bio samo govor jednog imperijalnog diktatora u silaznoj putanji, koji gubi rat, a sad pokušava zaustaviti i vlastiti pad.

Saveznik Dodik

No krenimo redom. Istina je da se Putin dugo nije obratio javnosti, ali nije se imao čime ni pohvaliti. U “specijalnoj operaciji” u Ukrajini gubio je korak po korak, bitku za bitkom. No njegovo ovotjedno obraćanje nije bilo nimalo iznenađujuće ili neuobičajeno. Tajming je određen tradicionalnim tjednom obraćanja šefova država i vlada Općoj skupštini UN-a u New Yorku.

Vladimir Putin poslao je svoju prijeteću poruku iz Moskve, upućenu više svijetu, nego Rusima, dan prije nego što se Glavnoj skupštini obratio američki predsjednik Joe Biden. No nije to djelovalo nimalo pobjednički. Upravo suprotno. Na međunarodnom planu od njega su se nedavno distancirali i donedavni pouzdani brat, kineski vođa Xi Jinping i donedavni polusaveznici, poput turskog vođe Recepa T. Erdogana, od njega se postupno distanciraju donedavno vjerne bivše republike SSSR-a.

Ispada da mu je glavni saveznik ostao Milorad Dodik, koji ga je i otišao poduprijeti u Moskvu. U neka druga vremena, prije korone i prije ruske “specijalne operacije” u Ukrajini, Vladimir Putin je na zasjedanju UN-a u New Yorku bio tretiran kao vođa svjetske velesile. Sad, međunarodno izoliran, šalje poruke iz svojega moskovskog “bunkera”. Njegov ministar vanjskih poslova (i bivši veleposlanik pri UN-u u New Yorku) Sergej Lavrov nekoć je bio jedan od najutjecajnijih diplomata pri UN-u. Sad je nakon svoga govora “pobjegao” s ministarske sjednice Vijeća sigurnosti, da ne sluša osude na račun Rusije. Pitanje je hoće li nagodinu smjeti ili moći uopće doći na zasjedanje UN-a u New York? Ili će ga zaustaviti optužnice za ratne zločine?

Dodatna mobilizacija i potpora “narodnim referendumima” u Donbasu također nisu znak Putinove snage, već znak slabosti. (Sjećamo se modelski istovjetnih predstava “prisajedinjenja” srpskih država u Hrvatskoj i BiH pred kraj srpskog osvajačkog rata 90-ih.) No organiziranjem referenduma, kao pripreme za aneksiju Donbasa, Putin zapravo poručuje da bi želio ući u neke mirovne pregovore i računa da će mu referendumi biti neki adut.

Ali, ono što mu je pošlo za rukom 2014. s Krimom, da ga anektira gotovo bez ukrajinskog otpora i uz šutnju međunarodne zajednice, danas više ne može proći s Donbasom. Ni vojno, ni međunarodno-politički. Od dodatne mobilizacije (oko 300.000 rezervista), nakon pola godine ratnih neuspjeha, više razloga ima strahovati sam Putin (na unutarnjem ruskom planu), nego Zelenski (na ukrajinskom ratištu). Nije baš tako lako uvesti 300.000 novih rezervista u osvajački rat koji gubiš.

Njemačke prijetnje

Nuklearna prijetnja Zapadu posljednje je Putinovo (verbalno) oružje. Ali ne ide to baš tako da Vladimir Putin, u očaju zbog gubitka rata, pritisne gumb i uništi svijet. Jedna od vrlo važnih (doduše ne i u javnosti široko elaboriranih) vijesti na početku ruske invazije, bila je vijest o funkcioniranju crvene linije između ruskog i američkog vojnog zapovjedništva, čime su nuklearni potencijali pod propisanim vojnim nadzorom kroz racionalnu proceduru. Nisu prepušteni trenutačnoj inspiraciji očajnika, ma bio on i predsjednik Rusije. No svojom prijetnjom nuklearnim oružjem Vladimir Putin je dodatno ujedinio Zapad (NATO i EU). Čak je i rezervirani njemački kancelar Olaf Scholz za govornicom UN-a zagrmio protiv Putinovih imperijalnih ratova i nuklearnih prijetnji. A možda će napokon i poslati one obećane tenkove Ukrajini.

Vladimir Putin svojim je javnim obraćanjem pokušao odglumiti realnu prijetnju. A praktički istodobno, u razmjeni ratnih zarobljenika pristao je pustiti iz ruskog zatočeništva ne samo nekoliko stranaca koji su se borili u ukrajinskoj vojsci, uključujući i Hrvata Vjekoslava Prebega, već i najviše rangirane zapovjednike Azova Denisa Prokopenka i Svjatoslava Palomara, kao i preživjele borce iz Azovstalja, posljednjeg i legendarnog uporišta obrane Mariupolja.

Za rusku ratnu propagandu borci i zapovjednici Azova bili su esencija “nacizma” i glavni cilj u “denacifikaciji Ukrajine”. Njihovim puštanjem na slobodu Putin šalje suštinski sasvim drukčiju poruku od one koju je poslao javnosti iz svojega kremaljskog bunkera: on bi sad bio spreman pregovarati. Ali okolnosti su se promijenile. On gubi rat, ne samo vojno, već i politički.

Čak je i njegov polusaveznik Erdogan ovih dana jasno rekao da su i Donbas i Krim neosporno ukrajinski teritorij. Putin, dakle, nema o čemu pregovarati – osim o povlačenju ruske vojske, što bi značilo priznanje poraza. Njegova uloga kao da nije predviđena u sljedećoj epizodi. •
