Turisti koji dolaze na indonezijski otok Bali će od 2024. morati plaćati pristojbu u iznosu od 10 dolara po osobi, objavila je u četvrtak tamošnja turistička zajednica.

Novac će prvenstveno biti korišten za zaštitu okoliša i programe očuvanja kulturne baštine na otoku, prema turističkoj zajednici.

Bali je trenutno popularan među posjetiteljima iz svih krajeva svijeta, a naročito zbog svojih veličanstvenih terasa rižinih polja, hinduističkih hramova i plaža.

Pristojba će se prikupljati izravno u zračnim ili pomorskim lukama od 1. siječnja 2024. Turisti će morati zadržati račun i odgovarajući naljepnicu do odlaska s otoka.

"Ovom politikom želimo povećati osviještenost i odgovornost stranih turista kako bi sudjelovali u zaštiti okoliša i kulture na Baliju", rekao je Putu Astawa, šef turističke zajednice.

Turisti su nedavno postali tema medijskih napisa zbog svog nesputanog ponašanja, koje uključuje i poziranje bez odjeće na svetom vulkanu Agung i drugim svetim mjestima.

Provincijski guverner Wayan Koster je kao odgovor najavio stroge mjere. Prošli tjedan je rekao da namjerava Bali pretvoriti u odredište kvalitetnog turizma te razboritih gostiju koji poštuju lokalnu kulturu.

Otok s otprilike 4,2 milijuna stanovnika je prije pandemije koronavirusa imao više od 6,2 milijuna stranih turista godišnje, no nakon što su uvedena ograničenja putovanja zbog pandemije, turistička industrija, koja je ključan izvor prihoda za Bali, gotovo je u potpunosti zamrla.

Nakon što su ograničenja ukinuta, priljev turista se ponovo snažno povećao.

Turisti koji dolaze na indonezijski otok Bali će od 2024. morati plaćati pristojbu u iznosu od 10 dolara po osobi, objavila je u četvrtak tamošnja turistička zajednica.

Novac će prvenstveno biti korišten za zaštitu okoliša i programe očuvanja kulturne baštine na otoku, prema turističkoj zajednici.

Bali je trenutno popularan među posjetiteljima iz svih krajeva svijeta, a naročito zbog svojih veličanstvenih terasa rižinih polja, hinduističkih hramova i plaža.

Pristojba će se prikupljati izravno u zračnim ili pomorskim lukama od 1. siječnja 2024. Turisti će morati zadržati račun i odgovarajući naljepnicu do odlaska s otoka.

"Ovom politikom želimo povećati osviještenost i odgovornost stranih turista kako bi sudjelovali u zaštiti okoliša i kulture na Baliju", rekao je Putu Astawa, šef turističke zajednice.

Turisti su nedavno postali tema medijskih napisa zbog svog nesputanog ponašanja, koje uključuje i poziranje bez odjeće na svetom vulkanu Agung i drugim svetim mjestima.

Provincijski guverner Wayan Koster je kao odgovor najavio stroge mjere. Prošli tjedan je rekao da namjerava Bali pretvoriti u odredište kvalitetnog turizma te razboritih gostiju koji poštuju lokalnu kulturu.

Otok s otprilike 4,2 milijuna stanovnika je prije pandemije koronavirusa imao više od 6,2 milijuna stranih turista godišnje, no nakon što su uvedena ograničenja putovanja zbog pandemije, turistička industrija, koja je ključan izvor prihoda za Bali, gotovo je u potpunosti zamrla.

Nakon što su ograničenja ukinuta, priljev turista se ponovo snažno povećao.

Turisti koji dolaze na indonezijski otok Bali će od 2024. morati plaćati pristojbu u iznosu od 10 dolara po osobi, objavila je u četvrtak tamošnja turistička zajednica.

Novac će prvenstveno biti korišten za zaštitu okoliša i programe očuvanja kulturne baštine na otoku, prema turističkoj zajednici.

Bali je trenutno popularan među posjetiteljima iz svih krajeva svijeta, a naročito zbog svojih veličanstvenih terasa rižinih polja, hinduističkih hramova i plaža.

Pristojba će se prikupljati izravno u zračnim ili pomorskim lukama od 1. siječnja 2024. Turisti će morati zadržati račun i odgovarajući naljepnicu do odlaska s otoka.

"Ovom politikom želimo povećati osviještenost i odgovornost stranih turista kako bi sudjelovali u zaštiti okoliša i kulture na Baliju", rekao je Putu Astawa, šef turističke zajednice.

Turisti su nedavno postali tema medijskih napisa zbog svog nesputanog ponašanja, koje uključuje i poziranje bez odjeće na svetom vulkanu Agung i drugim svetim mjestima.

Provincijski guverner Wayan Koster je kao odgovor najavio stroge mjere. Prošli tjedan je rekao da namjerava Bali pretvoriti u odredište kvalitetnog turizma te razboritih gostiju koji poštuju lokalnu kulturu.

Otok s otprilike 4,2 milijuna stanovnika je prije pandemije koronavirusa imao više od 6,2 milijuna stranih turista godišnje, no nakon što su uvedena ograničenja putovanja zbog pandemije, turistička industrija, koja je ključan izvor prihoda za Bali, gotovo je u potpunosti zamrla.

Nakon što su ograničenja ukinuta, priljev turista se ponovo snažno povećao.
