Litva je potpisala pismo namjere za nabavu 18 francuskih samohodnih haubica Caesar tijekom sastanka ministara obrane dviju zemalja u ponedjeljak na marginama sajma obrane Eurosatory, objavile su dvije zemlje.

"Litva će kupiti 18 haubica Caesar Mark II", objavio je litavski ministar obrane Arvydas Anusauskas u tweetu popraćenom fotografijom potpisivanja pisma namjere s njegovim francuskim kolegom Sebastienom Lecornuom.

"Haubice će značajno ojačati kapacitete litavske vojske", dodaje, precizirajući da je ovo "najveći akvizicijski projekt" ikada dogovoren s Francuskom.

Ova odluka dolazi nakon što je baltička zemlja, članica EU-a i NATO-a, odlučila povećati svoj proračun za obranu za 2022. za 300 milijuna eura, dovodeći ga na 1,5 milijardi, u svjetlu ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i strahova koje ona izaziva.

Prema francuskom ministarstvu oružanih snaga, "veze koje ujedinjuju Litvu i Francusku u obrambenom smislu vrlo su čvrste i dodatno će se razvijati u tjednima koji dolaze, u degradiranom geopolitičkom kontekstu koji doživljavamo u Europi".

Sukob u Ukrajini podsjeća na ulogu topništva u sukobima visokog intenziteta, pri čemu Zapad, prvenstveno Sjedinjene Države, daju desetke topova ukrajinskim snagama kako bi obuzdali ruske udare.

Francuska je krajem travnja Kijevu isporučila šest haubica Caesar, kao i tisuće granata.

Za razliku od američke haubice M777, koja zahtijeva vozilo za vuču, ili njemačke Panzerhaubitze 2000, koja je montirana na šasiju tenka Leopard 2, Caesar je montiran na šasiju kamiona sa šest kotača.

Prednost je Caesara je što može dobaciti do čak 42 kilometra sa streljivom produženog dometa, ili više od 50 kilometara uz streljivo potpomognuto raketom.

Caesar se može i sam kretati brzinom do 100 kilometara na sat po cestama ili 50 km/h po grubom terenu. Dodatna je prednost što se i sam top može brzo premjestiti nakon pucanja, čime se smanjuje ranjivost na artiljerijske protuudare.

Litva je potpisala pismo namjere za nabavu 18 francuskih samohodnih haubica Caesar tijekom sastanka ministara obrane dviju zemalja u ponedjeljak na marginama sajma obrane Eurosatory, objavile su dvije zemlje.

"Litva će kupiti 18 haubica Caesar Mark II", objavio je litavski ministar obrane Arvydas Anusauskas u tweetu popraćenom fotografijom potpisivanja pisma namjere s njegovim francuskim kolegom Sebastienom Lecornuom.

"Haubice će značajno ojačati kapacitete litavske vojske", dodaje, precizirajući da je ovo "najveći akvizicijski projekt" ikada dogovoren s Francuskom.

Ova odluka dolazi nakon što je baltička zemlja, članica EU-a i NATO-a, odlučila povećati svoj proračun za obranu za 2022. za 300 milijuna eura, dovodeći ga na 1,5 milijardi, u svjetlu ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i strahova koje ona izaziva.

Prema francuskom ministarstvu oružanih snaga, "veze koje ujedinjuju Litvu i Francusku u obrambenom smislu vrlo su čvrste i dodatno će se razvijati u tjednima koji dolaze, u degradiranom geopolitičkom kontekstu koji doživljavamo u Europi".

Sukob u Ukrajini podsjeća na ulogu topništva u sukobima visokog intenziteta, pri čemu Zapad, prvenstveno Sjedinjene Države, daju desetke topova ukrajinskim snagama kako bi obuzdali ruske udare.

Francuska je krajem travnja Kijevu isporučila šest haubica Caesar, kao i tisuće granata.

Za razliku od američke haubice M777, koja zahtijeva vozilo za vuču, ili njemačke Panzerhaubitze 2000, koja je montirana na šasiju tenka Leopard 2, Caesar je montiran na šasiju kamiona sa šest kotača.

Prednost je Caesara je što može dobaciti do čak 42 kilometra sa streljivom produženog dometa, ili više od 50 kilometara uz streljivo potpomognuto raketom.

Caesar se može i sam kretati brzinom do 100 kilometara na sat po cestama ili 50 km/h po grubom terenu. Dodatna je prednost što se i sam top može brzo premjestiti nakon pucanja, čime se smanjuje ranjivost na artiljerijske protuudare.

Litva je potpisala pismo namjere za nabavu 18 francuskih samohodnih haubica Caesar tijekom sastanka ministara obrane dviju zemalja u ponedjeljak na marginama sajma obrane Eurosatory, objavile su dvije zemlje.

"Litva će kupiti 18 haubica Caesar Mark II", objavio je litavski ministar obrane Arvydas Anusauskas u tweetu popraćenom fotografijom potpisivanja pisma namjere s njegovim francuskim kolegom Sebastienom Lecornuom.

"Haubice će značajno ojačati kapacitete litavske vojske", dodaje, precizirajući da je ovo "najveći akvizicijski projekt" ikada dogovoren s Francuskom.

Ova odluka dolazi nakon što je baltička zemlja, članica EU-a i NATO-a, odlučila povećati svoj proračun za obranu za 2022. za 300 milijuna eura, dovodeći ga na 1,5 milijardi, u svjetlu ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i straho...
