Načelnik PU dubrovačko-neretvanske Zlatko Sokolar izjavio je kako je dubrovačka policija posredstvom INTERPOL-a upravo dobila iskaz jednog od portugalskih backpackera koji su kobne noći 17. na 18. rujna prošle godine bili u društvu pokojne mlade Australke Britt Lapthorne (21).

Međutim, policiji iskaz nije ni od kakve pomoći u rasvjetljavanju uzroka smrti djevojke kojoj se navedene noći, po izlasku iz noćnog latino bara Fuego na gradskom predjelu Pile gubi svaki trag sve do 6. listopada kad je beživotno tijelo pronađeno u moru uvale Danče, nedaleko od zidina povijesne jezgre Dubrovnika.

- Iz Portugalčeva je iskaza razvidno kako je u trenutku kad je izlazio iz Fuega i posljednji put vidio Britt, mlada Australka bila sama. Preostaje nam još doći do iskaza trojice mladih turista: dvojice Portugalaca i jednog Novozelanđanina.

Odgovorno ističem kako razumijem bol Brittina oca Dalea Lapthornea, ali njegove izjave i ponašanje uopće ne pridonose moralu i entuzijazmu policije koja želi i maksimalno je angažirana na rasvjetljavanju tog slučaja - rekao je Sokolar te iznova opovrgnuo spekulacije dijela medija koji u priču o Britt uvode nova imena policijskih djelatnika najjužnije hrvatske PU.

Policija tvrdi kako nije istina da su ponovno ronjenje najavili “isprovocirani izjavama obitelji o ronjenju u osobnom aranžmanu” jer su ponovni zaron najavili mjesecima prije, što im vremenski uvjeti do nisu dopustili.

Pomoć u ronjenju MUP RH je nudio i pripadnik Federalne policije Australije Marko Dokmanović, ali mu je odgovoreno kako će to policija učiniti svojim snagama.

Načelnik PU dubrovačko-neretvanske Zlatko Sokolar izjavio je kako je dubrovačka policija posredstvom INTERPOL-a upravo dobila iskaz jednog od portugalskih backpackera koji su kobne noći 17. na 18. rujna prošle godine bili u društvu pokojne mlade Australke Britt Lapthorne (21).

Međutim, policiji iskaz nije ni od kakve pomoći u rasvjetljavanju uzroka smrti djevojke kojoj se navedene noći, po izlasku iz noćnog latino bara Fuego na gradskom predjelu Pile gubi svaki trag sve do 6. listopada kad je beživotno tijelo pronađeno u moru uvale Danče, nedaleko od zidina povijesne jezgre Dubrovnika.

- Iz Portugalčeva je iskaza razvidno kako je u trenutku kad je izlazio iz Fuega i posljednji put vidio Britt, mlada Australka bila sama. Preostaje nam još doći do iskaza trojice mladih turista: dvojice Portugalaca i jednog Novozelanđanina.

Odgovorno ističem kako razumijem bol Brittina oca Dalea Lapthornea, ali njegove izjave i ponašanje uopće ne pridonose moralu i entuzijazmu policije koja želi i maksimalno je angažirana na rasvjetljavanju tog slučaja - rekao je Sokolar te iznova opovrgnuo spekulacije dijela medija koji u priču o Britt uvode nova imena policijskih djelatnika najjužnije hrvatske PU.

Policija tvrdi kako nije istina da su ponovno ronjenje najavili “isprovocirani izjavama obitelji o ronjenju u osobnom aranžmanu” jer su ponovni zaron najavili mjesecima prije, što im vremenski uvjeti do nisu dopustili.

Pomoć u ronjenju MUP RH je nudio i pripadnik Federalne policije Australije Marko Dokmanović, ali mu je odgovoreno kako će to policija učiniti svojim snagama.
