Zastupnici Europskog parlamenta iz odbora za građanske slobode, pravosuđe i unutarnje poslove pozvali su Europsku komisiju da osigura provedbu načela reciprociteta u viznom režimu sa Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, što je inače i zakonska obveza.

Zbog činjenice da SAD još uvijek nisu ukinule vize za državljane Hrvatske, Bugarske, Rumunjske i Cipra, zastupnici Europskog parlamenta upozoravaju da stanje nepostojanja reciprociteta postoji još od 2014. godine, a prema zakonodavstvu EU, obveza uspostave viznog reciprociteta mora se uvesti u roku od 24 mjeseci od dana kad je službeno objavljen izostanak reciprociteta, piše Jutarnji list.

Taj rok prošao je još 2016., ali od tada, osim što su SAD ukinule vize za državljane Poljske, pomaka nije bilo.

Europski parlament još je 2017. godine na plenarnom zasjedanju usvojio rezoluciju kojom je zatražio uvođenje viza za državljane SAD-a ukoliko se ne osigura putovanje bez viza u toj državi za sve državljane Europske unije. Prema sadašnjem stanju, državljani ovih država su diskriminirani.

EU treba, kako bi se osigurao ravnopravan tretman svih svojih država, uvesti vize za sve treće zemlje koje imaju vize za bilo koju državu Europske unije.

No do provedbe ovog načela od strane EU nije došlo zbog "posebnih interesa", prije svih gospodarskih. Tad su upozoravali da bi u slučaju uvođenja viza Amerikancima mnoge države članice EU, pa i Hrvatska i Cipar kao važne turističke destinacije, imale posljedice jer bi to odvraćalo mnoge američke turiste koji bi planirali posjetiti te države.

Zastupnici Europskog parlamenta pozivaju se na načelo solidarnosti među članicama Europske unije, ali i na institucionalno pitanje jer su u ovom slučaju ovlasti na strani Europske komisije. Ukoliko bi Komisija predložila uvođenje viza za državljane SAD-a, ono bi stupilo na snagu pod uvjetom da se tome ne bi protivili Europski parlament ili Vijeće.

Ovo je još uvijek samo nezakonodavna rezolucija spomenutog odbora, a o njoj će se raspravljati i na sljedećoj plenarnoj sjednici, piše Jutarnji list.

Zastupnici Europskog parlamenta iz odbora za građanske slobode, pravosuđe i unutarnje poslove pozvali su Europsku komisiju da osigura provedbu načela reciprociteta u viznom režimu sa Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, što je inače i zakonska obveza.

Zbog činjenice da SAD još uvijek nisu ukinule vize za državljane Hrvatske, Bugarske, Rumunjske i Cipra, zastupnici Europskog parlamenta upozoravaju da stanje nepostojanja reciprociteta postoji još od 2014. godine, a prema zakonodavstvu EU, obveza uspostave viznog reciprociteta mora se uvesti u roku od 24 mjeseci od dana kad je službeno objavljen izostanak reciprociteta, piše Jutarnji list.

Taj rok prošao je još 2016., ali od tada, osim što su SAD ukinule vize za državljane Poljske, pomaka nije bilo.

Europski parlament još je 2017. godine na plenarnom zasjedanju usvojio rezoluciju kojom je zatražio uvođenje viza za državljane SAD-a ukoliko se ne osigura putovanje bez viza u toj državi za sve državljane Europske unije. Prema sadašnjem stanju, državljani ovih država su diskriminirani.

EU treba, kako bi se osigurao ravnopravan tretman svih svojih država, uvesti vize za sve treće zemlje koje imaju vize za bilo koju državu Europske unije.

No do provedbe ovog načela od strane EU nije došlo zbog "posebnih interesa", prije svih gospodarskih. Tad su upozoravali da bi u slučaju uvođenja viza Amerikancima mnoge države članice EU, pa i Hrvatska i Cipar kao važne turističke destinacije, imale posljedice jer bi to odvraćalo mnoge američke turiste koji bi planirali posjetiti te države.

Zastupnici Europskog parlamenta pozivaju se na načelo solidarnosti među članicama Europske unije, ali i na institucionalno pitanje jer su u ovom slučaju ovlasti na strani Europske komisije. Ukoliko bi Komisija predložila uvođenje viza za državljane SAD-a, ono bi stupilo na snagu pod uvjetom da se tome ne bi protivili Europski parlament ili Vijeće.

Ovo je još uvijek samo nezakonodavna rezolucija spomenutog odbora, a o njoj će se raspravljati i na sljedećoj plenarnoj sjednici, piše Jutarnji list.

Europski parlament razmišlja da uvede vize za Amerikance, a jedan od razloga je i - Hrvatska!

Zastupnici Europskog parlamenta iz odbora za građanske slobode, pravosuđe i unutarnje poslove pozvali su Europsku komisiju da osigura provedbu načela reciprociteta u viznom režimu sa Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, što je inače i zakonska obveza.

Zbog činjenice da SAD još uvijek nisu ukinule vize za državljane Hrvatske, Bugarske, Rumunjske i Cipra, zastupnici Europskog parlamenta upozoravaju da stanje nepostojanja reciprociteta postoji još od 2014. godine, a prema zakonodavstvu EU, obveza uspostave viznog reciprociteta mora se uvesti u roku od 24 mjeseci od dana kad je službeno objavljen izostanak reciprociteta, piše Jutarnji list.

Taj rok prošao je još 2016., ali od tada, osim što su SAD ukinule vize za državljane Poljske, pomaka nije bilo.
