Švicarska policija otvorila je istragu protiv iznajmljivača skija, koji su postavili obavijesti da Židovima više ne iznajmljuju skije i sanjke, piše BBC, prenosi Klix.ba.
Riječ je o trgovini smještenoj u poznatom ljetovalištu Davos, koja se na ovaj skandalozan potez odlučila zbog "incidenata s krađama". Obavijesti na hebrejskom glase da trgovina "više ne prodaje sportsku opremu židovskoj braći".
Mnogi smatraju da se radi o očitom kršenju švicarskih zakona o diskriminaciji i poticanju na rasnu i vjersku mržnju. Policija je pokrenula istragu, a trgovina je u međuvremenu uklonila obavijesti i poništila svoju odluku. Švicarska udruga židovskih zajednica također je pokrenula vlastitu pravnu akciju i osudila diskriminirajuće obavijesti.
Kontroverzna odluka trgovine donesena je nakon što se zaposlenici više nisu mogli nositi sa zadatkom prelaženja planine u pokušaju da pronađu svoju ostavljenu opremu.
Zabrana je trajala 24 sata, a ukinuta je nakon niza prosvjeda. Gradonačelnik Davosa Philipp Wilhelm poručio je da svaki oblik antisemitizma, rasizma i diskriminacije mora biti osuđen te da mu nema mjesta u Davosu.

Voditelj trgovine se ispričao i rekao da je obavijest bila "loše sročena" i da su Židovi "dobrodošli". Međutim, antirasističke skupine kažu da je potez trgovine puno ozbiljniji od "nesretnog izraza" i da predstavlja klasični rasizam i diskriminaciju. Bolje rješenje u svakom slučaju bilo bi uzeti osobnu iskaznicu ili kreditnu karticu od onih koji unajmljuju opremu.
S druge strane, turistički dužnosnici ističu da je Davos postao popularan među ortodoksnom izraelskom židovskom zajednicom te da je bilo slučajeva u kojima su se gosti s nepoštovanjem odnosili prema domaćinima. Nedavno je osnovana radna skupina za rješavanje napetosti između turista i domaćina, a obje su strane priznale da postoje teškoće.
No, s obzirom na porast slučajeva antisemitizma diljem Europe zbog rata u Gazi, potez ski shopa u očima mnogih izgleda ne samo "glup", već i rasistički, pogotovo jer Davos već posjećuju velike grupe godine, među kojima je bilo i onih koji se nisu ponašali primjereno. Među njima ima raznih bogatih gostiju, od ruskih oligarha preko naftnih magnata iz zaljevskih država do mladih bankara iz Züricha poznatih po divljim zabavama i konzumaciji kokaina.
Unatoč tome, čini se da nijedna od ovih skupina nije bila "na meti" trgovine, kao što je slučaj sa židovskim kupcima, piše Klix.ba.

Švicarska policija otvorila je istragu protiv iznajmljivača skija, koji su postavili obavijesti da Židovima više ne iznajmljuju skije i sanjke, piše BBC, prenosi Klix.ba.
Riječ je o trgovini smještenoj u poznatom ljetovalištu Davos, koja se na ovaj skandalozan potez odlučila zbog "incidenata s krađama". Obavijesti na hebrejskom glase da trgovina "više ne prodaje sportsku opremu židovskoj braći".
Mnogi smatraju da se radi o očitom kršenju švicarskih zakona o diskriminaciji i poticanju na rasnu i vjersku mržnju. Policija je pokrenula istragu, a trgovina je u međuvremenu uklonila obavijesti i poništila svoju odluku. Švicarska udruga židovskih zajednica također je pokrenula vlastitu pravnu akciju i osudila diskriminirajuće obavijesti.
Kontroverzna odluka trgovine donesena je nakon što se zaposlenici više nisu mogli nositi sa zadatkom prelaženja planine u pokušaju da pronađu svoju ostavljenu opremu.
Zabrana je trajala 24 sata, a ukinuta je nakon niza prosvjeda. Gradonačelnik Davosa Philipp Wilhelm poručio je da svaki oblik antisemitizma, rasizma i diskriminacije mora biti osuđen te da mu nema mjesta u Davosu.

Voditelj trgovine se ispričao i rekao da je obavijest bila "loše sročena" i da su Židovi "dobrodošli". Međutim, antirasističke skupine kažu da je potez trgovine puno ozbiljniji od "nesretnog izraza" i da predstavlja klasični rasizam i diskriminaciju. Bolje rješenje u svakom slučaju bilo bi uzeti osobnu iskaznicu ili kreditnu karticu od onih koji unajmljuju opremu.
S druge strane, turistički dužnosnici ističu da je Davos postao popularan među ortodoksnom izraelskom židovskom zajednicom te da je bilo slučajeva u kojima su se gosti s nepoštovanjem odnosili prema domaćinima. Nedavno je osnovana radna skupina za rješavanje napetosti između turista i domaćina, a obje su strane priznale da postoje teškoće.
No, s obzirom na porast slučajeva antisemitizma diljem Europe zbog rata u Gazi, potez ski shopa u očima mnogih izgleda ne samo "glup", već i rasistički, pogotovo jer Davos već posjećuju velike grupe godine, među kojima je bilo i onih koji se nisu ponašali primjereno. Među njima ima raznih bogatih gostiju, od ruskih oligarha preko naftnih magnata iz zaljevskih država do mladih bankara iz Züricha poznatih po divljim zabavama i konzumaciji kokaina.
Unatoč tome, čini se da nijedna od ovih skupina nije bila "na meti" trgovine, kao što je slučaj sa židovskim kupcima, piše Klix.ba.
