Australska vlada uvodi program sigurnosti na cestama vrijedan 245 milijuna dolara, koji uključuje neke inovativne nove tehnike za zaštitu ne samo vozača, već i biciklista i pješaka.
Najzanimljiviji aspekt programa je implementacija fotoluminiscentnih oznaka na cesti koje svijetle u mraku. Baš kao i plastične zvijezde koje ste stavljali na strop svoje spavaće sobe kao dijete, linije na cesti danju će izgledati potpuno normalno, ali kad padne noć, bit će sjajne poput zvijezda, piše Jutarnji list.

Prema državi Viktoriji, inovacija će vozačima dati "bolji pregled do raskrižja i zavoja" i uvelike će poboljšati vrijeme reakcije na uvjete na cesti.
Viktorijanska tvrtka Tarmac Linemarking na svojoj je Facebook stranici podijelila slike probne vožnje sa svijetlećim oznakama na cesti, i u najmanju ruku, one su impresivne. Čak i u potpunom mraku, linije na cesti su jasno vidljive zahvaljujući primjeni posebne završne obrade.
Tarmac Linemarking kaže da bi nova tehnologija bila "izvanredan proizvod za pješačke i biciklističke staze, ceste, rampe za čamce i mnoge druge aplikacije". Ne samo da će to olakšati vožnju noći vozačima, već i biciklistima i pješacima. Nadamo se da će ideja uspjeti i dospjeti u više dijelova svijeta, jer ne možemo vidjeti lošu stranu ovog projekta.

Osim foto-luminiscentnih cesta, australska Vlada će također implementirati LED osvijetljene kolnike u blizini raskrižja i druge reflektirajuće oznake na cesti, piše Jutarnji list.

Tarmac Linemarking kaže da bi nova tehnologija bila "izvanredan proizvod za pješačke i biciklističke staze, ceste, rampe za čamce i mnoge druge aplikacije".
