Deseci tisuća ljudi prosvjedovali su u petak u Budimpešti na najvećem skupu protiv vlade Viktora Orbána zadnjih godina, nakon što je pomilovanje predsjednice Katalin Novák u slučaju seksualnog zlostavljanja izazvalo buru u javnosti i dovelo do njezine ostavke - piše The Guardian.

Konzervativni mađarski premijer, koji je na vlasti od 2010., nastojao je ublažiti višetjedni skandal koji je srušio dvoje njegovih ključnih političkih saveznika, predsjednika i bivšu ministricu pravosuđa Judit Varga, ali on je nastavio dominirati domaćim medijima.

Previranja ne predstavljaju neposrednu prijetnju Orbanovoj vladavini jer su izbori 2026. još uvijek daleko, ali dolaze uoči izbora za Europski parlament u lipnju na kojima se njegova stranka nada dobiti od porasta podrške krajnjoj desnici diljem Europe.

Otkrivanje pomilovanja izazvalo je negodovanje javnosti, a devet  influencera, među kojima i popularna pjevačica Azahriah, pozvalo je na prosvjed na Trgu heroja u Budimpešti.

Deseci tisuća prosvjednika, uključujući mnoge mlade ljude, stisnuli su se na ogromnom trgu, a još ih je više ispunjavalo avenije koje su vodile prema njemu, a drugi su i dalje marširali tamo.

“Dosta nam je. Trebaju nam promjene, ova vlada je puna laži i licemjerja”, rekao je Jozsef Molnar (64), koji je dodao da je i njegov 19-godišnji sin prosvjedovjeduje. Molnar je rekao da je zadnji put išao na prosvjed 1989. kada je pao komunizam.

“Ovdje smo zbog budućnosti i naših unuka”, rekao je.

Organizatori prosvjeda u objavi na Facebooku pitaju: “Koliko još ima sličnih tema za koje ne znamo, a koje su zataškane?

“Bez obzira na [političke] strane, vjerujemo da je za nas važno govoriti u prilog zaštiti žrtava [zlostavljanja], transparentnosti, ljudskom dostojanstvu i poštenom javnom dijalogu”, napisali su.

Motivi pomilovanja muškarca koji je pomagao u prikrivanju seksualnog zlostavljanja u dječjem domu ostaju nejasni.

Orbánova vladajuća stranka Fidesz pokušala je povratiti narativ, rekavši da su pogreške s njezine strane imale posljedice jer je predsjednik podnio ostavku, za razliku od onih koje je napravila oporba. Očekuje se da će on izložiti svoju politiku u govoru u subotu.

Orbánov šef kabineta, Gergely Gulyás, rekao je na brifingu ranije u petak da su predsjednik i bivši ministar pravosuđa preuzeli odgovornost za to pitanje i da vlada smatra da je stvar zatvorena. Bilo je važno "gledati u budućnost" i vlada će nastojati pooštriti propise o zaštiti djece, rekao je - piše The Guardian.

Deseci tisuća ljudi prosvjedovali su u petak u Budimpešti na najvećem skupu protiv vlade Viktora Orbána zadnjih godina, nakon što je pomilovanje predsjednice Katalin Novák u slučaju seksualnog zlostavljanja izazvalo buru u javnosti i dovelo do njezine ostavke - piše The Guardian.

Konzervativni mađarski premijer, koji je na vlasti od 2010., nastojao je ublažiti višetjedni skandal koji je srušio dvoje njegovih ključnih političkih saveznika, predsjednika i bivšu ministricu pravosuđa Judit Varga, ali on je nastavio dominirati domaćim medijima.

Previranja ne predstavljaju neposrednu prijetnju Orbanovoj vladavini jer su izbori 2026. još uvijek daleko, ali dolaze uoči izbora za Europski parlament u lipnju na kojima se njegova stranka nada dobiti od porasta podrške krajnjoj desnici diljem Europe.

Otkrivanje pomilovanja izazvalo je negodovanje javnosti, a devet  influencera, među kojima i popularna pjevačica Azahriah, pozvalo je na prosvjed na Trgu heroja u Budimpešti.

Deseci tisuća prosvjednika, uključujući mnoge mlade ljude, stisnuli su se na ogromnom trgu, a još ih je više ispunjavalo avenije koje su vodile prema njemu, a drugi su i dalje marširali tamo.

“Ovdje smo zbog budućnosti i naših unuka”, rekao je.

Organizatori prosvjeda u objavi na Facebooku pitaju: “Koliko još ima sličnih tema za koje ne znamo, a koje su zataškane?

“Bez obzira na [političke] strane, vjerujemo da je za nas važno govoriti u prilog zaštiti žrtava [zlostavljanja], transparentnosti, ljudskom dostojanstvu i poštenom javnom dijalogu”, napisali su.

Motivi pomilovanja muškarca koji je pomagao u prikrivanju seksualnog zlostavljanja u dječjem domu ostaju nejasni.

Orbánova vladajuća stranka Fidesz pokušala je povratiti narativ, rekavši da su pogreške s njezine strane imale posljedice jer je predsjednik podnio ostavku, za razliku od onih koje je napravila oporba. Očekuje se da će on izložiti svoju politiku u govoru u subotu.

Orbánov šef kabineta, Gergely Gulyás, rekao je na brifingu ranije u petak da su predsjednik i bivši ministar pravosuđa preuzeli odgovornost za to pitanje i da vlada smatra da je stvar zatvorena. Bilo je važno "gledati u budućnost" i vlada će nastojati pooštriti propise o zaštiti djece, rekao je - piše The Guardian.

Deseci tisuća ljudi prosvjedovali su u petak u Budimpešti na najvećem skupu protiv vlade Viktora Orbána zadnjih godina, nakon što je pomilovanje predsjednice Katalin Novák u slučaju seksualnog zlostavljanja izazvalo buru u javnosti i dovelo do njezine ostavke - piše The Guardian.

Konzervativni mađarski premijer, koji je na vlasti od 2010., nastojao je ublažiti višetjedni skandal koji je srušio dvoje njegovih ključnih političkih saveznika, predsjednika i bivšu ministricu pravosuđa Judit Varga, ali on je nastavio dominirati domaćim medijima.

Previranja ne predstavljaju neposrednu prijetnju Orbanovoj vladavini jer su izbori 2026. još uvijek daleko, ali dolaze uoči izbora za Europski parlament u lipnju na kojima se njegova stranka nada dobiti od porasta podrške krajnjoj desnici diljem Europe.

Otkrivanje pomilovanja izazvalo je negodovanje javnosti, a devet  influencera, među kojima i popularna pjevačica Azahriah, pozvalo je na prosvjed na Trgu heroja u Budimpešti.

Deseci tisuća prosvjednika, uključujući mnoge mlade ljude, stisnuli su se na ogromnom trgu, a još ih je više ispunjavalo avenije koje su vodile prema njemu, a drugi su i dalje marširali tamo.
