Četnički vojvoda Nikola Kalabić, koji se bio jedan od najvećih zločinaca u Drugom svjetskom rata, odlukom Višeg suda u Valjevu rehabilitiran je i smatra se neosuđivanom osobom. Sud je to isto odlučio još 2017., ali su zbog žalbe ponovno otvorili slučaj.

Sad je presuda konačna.

Kalabić je bio jedan od najbližih suradnika četničkog vođe Draže Mihailovića, a njegove su jedinice poznate po brojnim zločinima nad civilima, među kojim su bili i žene i djeca. U početku je prišao četnicima Koste Pećanca i dobio čin vojvode. Ubrzo se s njima razišao i prišao Ravnogorskom pokretu Draže Mihailovića, gdje je prvo bio na čelu Prateće čete, a potom zapovjednik Gorske kraljeve garde, koja je bila jedna od najozloglašenijih četničkih jedinica.

Prema pismu iz travnja 1944. godine osobno je naredio klanje partizanskih simpatizera.

Nakon poraza u Drugom svjetskom ratu, Kalabić se skrivao po zabačenim srpskim selima sve dok ga Ozna nije uhvatila u prosincu 1945. godine. Kasnije su svjedoci tvrdili da je Kalabić otvoreno nudio suradnju Ozni u zamjenu za imunitet od kaznene odgovornosti te da je vlastima pomogao u uhićenju Draže Mihailovića. Draža je uhićen u ožujku 1946. godine, a nekoliko mjeseci kasnije je strijeljan. Kalabićeva sudbina ostala je nepoznata. Službeni arhivi ne bilježe ni presudu, kao ni datum ni mjesto smaknuća. Informacije iz druge ili treće ruke govore da je Kalabić smaknut nekoliko mjeseci nakon Mihailovića, a službeno je proglašen mrtvim tek 2011., u izvanparničnom postupku.

Sudski postupak rehabilitacije pokrenula je njegova unuka Vesna Kalabić koja tvrdi kako njezin djed nije izdao Dražu Mihailovića. Njezin odvjetnik na sudu je kazao kako je Kalabić bio "jedna od najznačajnijih figura u Ravnogorskom pokretu, čuveni geometar, poštovan obiteljski čovjek, častan oficir, izuzetan starješina“, a da je likvidiran "iz političkih, nacionalnih i ideoloških razloga".

Prvi postupak pred Višim sudom trajao je pet godina, a tamo su neki svjedoci kazali kako je Kalabić ubijen u jednoj pećini u klisuri rijeke Gradac kod Valjeva. Nakon prve presude, mediji su prenijeli izjavu Vladana Pantića, koji je potomak stradalih u pokolju u Vraniću, selu 30-ak kilometara od Beograda, a za koji je odgovoran upravo Kalabić.

On je rekao kako su četnici u to selo došli 20. prosinca 1943. i tada ubili deset članova njegove obitelji. Toga su dana u Vraniću Kalabićevi četnici ubili 67 civila.

Vladan Pantić je kazao kako su četnici pokolje, u kojima je sudjelovao i sam Kalabić, počinili u 14 kuća u selu čiji se pojedine članove sumnjičilo za održavanje veze s partizanima. U svim kućama pobijeni su svi ukućani, osim petero koji su slučajno preživjeli. Prema njegovim riječima 10-15 četnika je u večernjim satima došlo i u kuću njegovih predaka. Poklali su sve u kući “počevši od 87-godišnjeg djeda pa do jednogodišnje bebe u kolijevci”.

Zadnjih desetak godina sudovi u Srbiji redovito donose odluke o rehabilitiranju četnika.

Odlukom Višeg suda u Beogradu od svibnja 2015. i glavni četnički vođa Dragoljub Draža Mihailović smatra se neosuđivanim. Među rehabilitiranima su i četnik Milan Radivojević iz Grabovca kod Trstenika, te brojni drugi manje poznati pripadnici četničkog pokreta.

Četnički vojvoda Nikola Kalabić, koji se bio jedan od najvećih zločinaca u Drugom svjetskom rata, odlukom Višeg suda u Valjevu rehabilitiran je i smatra se neosuđivanom osobom. Sud je to isto odlučio još 2017., ali su zbog žalbe ponovno otvorili slučaj.

Sad je presuda konačna.

Kalabić je bio jedan od najbližih suradnika četničkog vođe Draže Mihailovića, a njegove su jedinice poznate po brojnim zločinima nad civilima, među kojim su bili i žene i djeca. U početku je prišao četnicima Koste Pećanca i dobio čin vojvode. Ubrzo se s njima razišao i prišao Ravnogorskom pokretu Draže Mihailovića, gdje je prvo bio na čelu Prateće čete, a potom zapovjednik Gorske kraljeve garde, koja je bila jedna od najozloglašenijih četničkih jedinica.

Prema pismu iz travnja 1944. godine osobno je naredio klanje partizanskih simpatizera.

Nakon poraza u Drugom svjetskom ratu, Kalabić se skrivao po zabačenim srpskim selima sve dok ga Ozna nije uhvatila u prosincu 1945. godine. Kasnije su svjedoci tvrdili da je Kalabić otvoreno nudio suradnju Ozni u zamjenu za imunitet od kaznene odgovornosti te da je vlastima pomogao u uhićenju Draže Mihailovića. Draža je uhićen u ožujku 1946. godine, a nekoliko mjeseci kasnije je strijeljan. Kalabićeva sudbina ostala je nepoznata. Službeni arhivi ne bilježe ni presudu, kao ni datum ni mjesto smaknuća. Informacije iz druge ili treće ruke govore da je Kalabić smaknut nekoliko mjeseci nakon Mihailovića, a službeno je proglašen mrtvim tek 2011., u izvanparničnom postupku.

Sudski postupak rehabilitacije pokrenula je njegova unuka Vesna Kalabić koja tvrdi kako njezin djed nije izdao Dražu Mihailovića. Njezin odvjetnik na sudu je kazao kako je Kalabić bio "jedna od najznačajnijih figura u Ravnogorskom pokretu, čuveni geometar, poštovan obiteljski čovjek, častan oficir, izuzetan starješina“, a da je likvidiran "iz političkih, nacionalnih i ideoloških razloga".

Prvi postupak pred Višim sudom trajao je pet godina, a tamo su neki svjedoci kazali kako je Kalabić ubijen u jednoj pećini u klisuri rijeke Gradac kod Valjeva. Nakon prve presude, mediji su prenijeli izjavu Vladana Pantića, koji je potomak stradalih u pokolju u Vraniću, selu 30-ak kilometara od Beograda, a za koji je odgovoran upravo Kalabić.

On je rekao kako su četnici u to selo došli 20. prosinca 1943. i tada ubili deset članova njegove obitelji. Toga su dana u Vraniću Kalabićevi četnici ubili 67 civila.

Vladan Pantić je kazao kako su četnici pokolje, u kojima je sudjelovao i sam Kalabić, počinili u 14 kuća u selu čiji se pojedine članove sumnjičilo za održavanje veze s partizanima. U svim kućama pobijeni su svi ukućani, osim petero koji su slučajno preživjeli. Prema njegovim riječima 10-15 četnika je u večernjim satima došlo i u kuću njegovih predaka. Poklali su sve u kući “počevši od 87-godišnjeg djeda pa do jednogodišnje bebe u kolijevci”.

Zadnjih desetak godina sudovi u Srbiji redovito donose odluke o rehabilitiranju četnika.

Odlukom Višeg suda u Beogradu od svibnja 2015. i glavni četnički vođa Dragoljub Draža Mihailović smatra se neosuđivanim. Među rehabilitiranima su i četnik Milan Radivojević iz Grabovca kod Trstenika, te brojni drugi manje poznati pripadnici četničkog pokreta.
