Brončani kip Brucea Leeja u Mostaru, postavljen u tamošnjem parku Zrinjevac, ovoga je vikenda nakon 19 godina – nestao. O čemu je riječ, nitko sa sigurnošću još ne zna, ali postolje je osvanulo prazno, bez kipa kojega je inače izradio hrvatski kipar Ivan Fijolić, a postavljanje inicirao pokret "Urbani pokret – Mostar" u kojemu je tada bio aktivan (današnji saborski zastupnik) Nino Raspudić. Bruce Lee trebao je kao simbol otpora svakojakoj nepravdi ujediniti podijeljeni grad, no sudbina je zasad (simbolički) nesklona tom rješenju.

Na simboličan način, to je i još jedna nesretna, posthumna epizoda samog glumca, koji je preminuo prije 51 godinu u mladoj dobi. Njegov kip u Mostaru bio je prvi koji mu je postavljen u čast, nakon kratkog i turbulentnog života kojega je vodio.

Bruce je rođen kao Lee Jun-fan u godini Zmaja, a još kao petogodišnji dječak počeo je nastupati filmovima hongkonške produkcije. Naselje u kome je odrastao Lee bilo je prenaseljeno, opasno i puno suparničkih bandi zbog priliva izbjeglica iz komunističke Kine u Hong Kong, koji je u to vrijeme bio britanska kolonija. Nakon što je Lee sudjelovao u nekoliko uličnih tuča, njegovi roditelji su zaključili kako bi bilo dobro da dečko počne trenirati neku borilačku vještinu. To mu je odredilo život...

Nakon jednog posebno neugodnog uličnog obračuna zbog kojeg je završio u policijskoj stanici, roditelji su Leeja odlučili poslati u SAD, gdje studira filozofiju na univerzitetu u Seattleu. Tamo upoznaje i suprugu Lindu, a 1963. u San Francisku otvara i svoju prvu kung fu školu. Trenirao je predano svaki dan – neke udarce i pokrete ponavljao je čak tisuću puta u istom danu!

Njegov izniman dar primijetio je i budući akcijski junak Chuck Norris, koji ga je nagovorio da dođe do Los Angelesa i okuša se kao glumac.

- Još od malih nogu imao sam snažnu potrebu da učim i usavršavam se. Za mene je osnovni zadatak i vrlina ljudskog bića da se neprestano razvija i do kraja ispuni svoj potencijal - isticao je Bruce Lee, koji je prihvatio izazov.

Dvije godine prije nego što je na Tajlandu pala prva klapa Chow/Lee filma "The Big Boss", pak, zapisao je mantru:

- Ja, Bruce Lee, postat ću najplaćeniji orijentalni superstar u Americi. Zauzvrat, pružit ću najuzbudljivije performanse i potrudit ću se biti što bolji glumac. Počevši od 1970, ostvarit ću svjetsku slavu i do 1989. zaraditi deset milijuna dolara. Onda ću živjeti kako me je volja, ispunjen unutrašnjom srećom i harmonijom - nagovijestio je.

Na žalost, njegov je san prekinut već u 33. godini života. Preminuo je u ljeto 1973. godine u Hong Kongu, pretpostavlja se, od posljedica hiponatrijemije (laički, nesposobnosti bubrega da izluči višak vode).

No, tu nije prestalo prokletstvo obitelji. Njegov jedinac (ima i kći Sharon), sin Brandon koji se također okušao kao glumac, tragično je skončao u svojoj 28. godini, na filmskom setu.

Da je kojom srećom živ, Bruce Lee danas bi imao 84 godine. Na žalost, nema više ni njega, niti statue u mostarskom parku.

Brončani kip Brucea Leeja u Mostaru, postavljen u tamošnjem parku Zrinjevac, ovoga je vikenda nakon 19 godina – nestao. O čemu je riječ, nitko sa sigurnošću još ne zna, ali postolje je osvanulo prazno, bez kipa kojega je inače izradio hrvatski kipar Ivan Fijolić, a postavljanje inicirao pokret "Urbani pokret – Mostar" u kojemu je tada bio aktivan (današnji saborski zastupnik) Nino Raspudić. Bruce Lee trebao je kao simbol otpora svakojakoj nepravdi ujediniti podijeljeni grad, no sudbina je zasad (simbolički) nesklona tom rješenju.

Na simboličan način, to je i još jedna nesretna, posthumna epizoda samog glumca, koji je preminuo prije 51 godinu u mladoj dobi. Njegov kip u Mostaru bio je prvi koji mu je postavljen u čast, nakon kratkog i turbulentnog života kojega je vodio.

Bruce je rođen kao Lee Jun-fan u godini Zmaja, a još kao petogodišnji dječak počeo je nastupati filmovima hongkonške produkcije. Naselje u kome je odrastao Lee bilo je prenaseljeno, opasno i puno suparničkih bandi zbog priliva izbjeglica iz komunističke Kine u Hong Kong, koji je u to vrijeme bio britanska kolonija. Nakon što je Lee sudjelovao u nekoliko uličnih tuča, njegovi roditelji su zaključili kako bi bilo dobro da dečko počne trenirati neku borilačku vještinu. To mu je odredilo život...

Nakon jednog posebno neugodnog uličnog obračuna zbog kojeg je završio u policijskoj stanici, roditelji su Leeja odlučili poslati u SAD, gdje studira filozofiju na univerzitetu u Seattleu. Tamo upoznaje i suprugu Lindu, a 1963. u San Francisku otvara i svoju prvu kung fu školu. Trenirao je predano svaki dan – neke udarce i pokrete ponavljao je čak tisuću puta u istom danu!

Njegov izniman dar primijetio je i budući akcijski junak Chuck Norris, koji ga je nagovorio da dođe do Los Angelesa i okuša se kao glumac.

- Još od malih nogu imao sam snažnu potrebu da učim i usavršavam se. Za mene je osnovni zadatak i vrlina ljudskog bića da se neprestano razvija i do kraja ispuni svoj potencijal - isticao je Bruce Lee, koji je prihvatio izazov.

Dvije godine prije nego što je na Tajlandu pala prva klapa Chow/Lee filma "The Big Boss", pak, zapisao je mantru:

- Ja, Bruce Lee, postat ću najplaćeniji orijentalni superstar u Americi. Zauzvrat, pružit ću najuzbudljivije performanse i potrudit ću se biti što bolji glumac. Počevši od 1970, ostvarit ću svjetsku slavu i do 1989. zaraditi deset milijuna dolara. Onda ću živjeti kako me je volja, ispunjen unutrašnjom srećom i harmonijom - nagovijestio je.

Na žalost, njegov je san prekinut već u 33. godini života. Preminuo je u ljeto 1973. godine u Hong Kongu, pretpostavlja se, od posljedica hiponatrijemije (laički, nesposobnosti bubrega da izluči višak vode).

No, tu nije prestalo prokletstvo obitelji. Njegov jedinac (ima i kći Sharon), sin Brandon koji se također okušao kao glumac, tragično je skončao u svojoj 28. godini, na filmskom setu.

Da je kojom srećom živ, Bruce Lee danas bi imao 84 godine. Na žalost, nema više ni njega, niti statue u mostarskom parku.

Nestao spomenik Bruceu Leeju u Mostaru! Postolje je nakon 19 godina osvanulo prazno, nitko nema pojma što se dogodilo

Brončani kip Brucea Leeja u Mostaru, postavljen u tamošnjem parku Zrinjevac, ovoga je vikenda nakon 19 godina – nestao. O čemu je riječ, nitko sa sigurnošću još ne zna, ali postolje je osvanulo prazno, bez kipa kojega je inače izradio hrvatski kipar Ivan Fijolić, a postavljanje inicirao pokret "Urbani pokret – Mostar" u kojemu je tada bio aktivan (današnji saborski zastupnik) Nino Raspudić. Bruce Lee trebao je kao simbol otpora svakojakoj nepravdi ujediniti podijeljeni grad, no sudbina je zasad (simbolički) nesklona tom rješenju.

Na simboličan način, to je i još jedna nesretna, posthumna epizoda samog glumca, koji je preminuo prije 51 godinu u mladoj dobi. Njegov kip u Mostaru bio je prvi koji mu je postavljen u čast, nakon kratkog i turbulentnog života kojega je vodio.

Bruce je rođen kao Lee Jun-fan u godini Zmaja, a još kao petogodišnji dječak počeo je nastupati filmovima hongkonške produkcije. Naselje u kome je odrastao Lee bilo je prenaseljeno, opasno i puno suparničkih bandi zbog priliva izbjeglica iz komunističke Kine u Hong Kong, koji je u to vrijeme bio britanska kolonija. Nakon što je Lee sudjelovao u nekoliko uličnih tuča, njegovi roditelji su zaključili kako bi bilo dobro da dečko počne trenirati neku borilačku vještinu. To mu je odredilo život...

Nakon jednog posebno neugodnog uličnog obračuna zbog kojeg je završio u policijskoj stanici, roditelji su Leeja odlučili poslati u SAD, gdje studira filozofiju na univerzitetu u Seattleu. Tamo upoznaje i suprugu Lindu, a 1963. u San Francisku otvara i svoju prvu kung fu školu. Trenirao je predano svaki dan – neke udarce i pokrete ponavljao je čak tisuću puta u istom danu!

Njegov izniman dar primijetio je i budući akcijski junak Chuck Norris, koji ga je nagovorio da dođe do Los Angelesa i okuša se kao glumac.

- Još od malih nogu imao sam snažnu potrebu da učim i usavršavam se. Za mene je osnovni zadatak i vrlina ljudskog bića da se neprestano razvija i do kraja ispuni svoj potencijal - isticao je Bruce Lee, koji je prihvatio izazov.

Dvije godine prije nego što je na Tajlandu pala prva klapa Chow/Lee filma "The Big Boss", pak, zapisao je mantru:

- Ja, Bruce Lee, postat ću najplaćeniji orijentalni superstar u Americi. Zauzvrat, pružit ću najuzbudljivije performanse i potrudit ću se biti što bolji glumac. Počevši od 1970, ostvarit ću svjetsku slavu i do 1989. zaraditi deset milijuna dolara. Onda ću živjeti kako me je volja, ispunjen unutrašnjom srećom i harmonijom - nagovijestio je.
