Svaki šesti stanovnik Hrvatske, odnosno 16 posto ukupne populacije ima neku vrstu invaliditeta. Prema Izvješću o osobama s invaliditetom koje je objavio Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, 1. rujna ove godine u Hrvatskoj je živjelo 624.019 osoba s invaliditetom, piše u petak Jutarnji list.

Taj je broj u samo tri godine narastao za čak 110.000 osoba - tijekom 2019. u istom je izvješću bilo registrirano 511.281 osoba s invaliditetom.

Razloga za to je, objašnjavaju u HZJZ-u, nekoliko - od nešto izmijenjene metodologije vođenja evidencije, preko novog popisa stanovništva (prema kojem se ukupni broj stanovnika smanjio pa je udio osoba s invaliditetom automatski narastao), do općeg starenja stanovništva, procesa koji neminovno dovodi i do većeg broja osoba s teškoćama u svakodnevnom funkcioniranju.

Hrvatski udio značajno je viši od prosjeka. Prema procjenama Ujedinjenih naroda (UN), od deset stanovnika svake zemlje jedan je u izvjesnoj mjeri osoba s invaliditetom. To je pravilo ranijih godina više-manje bilo primjenjivo i na Hrvatsku.

Prema Zakonu o Registru osoba s invaliditetom, osoba s invaliditetom je svaka osoba koja ima dugo trajna tjelesna, mentalna, intelektualna ili osjetilna oštećenja koja u međudjelovanju s različitim preprekama mogu sprječavati njezino puno i učinkovito sudjelovanje u društvu na ravnopravnoj osnovi s drugima.

- Činjenica je da smo ovogodišnje izvješće radili na osnovu novog popisa stanovništva, koji ima bitno manje registriranih osoba nego izvješće na osnovu kojeg smo lani radili prema popisu stanovništva iz 2011. godine - objašnjava autor Izvješća o osobama s invaliditetom, specijalist javnog zdravstva, dr. Tomislav Benjak iz HZJZ-a, koji se godinama bavi ovom tematikom te zaključuje kako - iako brojevi govore drugačije - velikog porasta osoba s invaliditetom nema.

Uz to, dodaje, promijenila se i metodologija unosa podataka, što se pripisuje boljoj povezanosti baza podataka i većoj ažurnosti upisa u registar, piše novinarka Jutarnjeg lista Ivana Krnić.

Svaki šesti stanovnik Hrvatske, odnosno 16 posto ukupne populacije ima neku vrstu invaliditeta. Prema Izvješću o osobama s invaliditetom koje je objavio Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, 1. rujna ove godine u Hrvatskoj je živjelo 624.019 osoba s invaliditetom, piše u petak Jutarnji list.

Taj je broj u samo tri godine narastao za čak 110.000 osoba - tijekom 2019. u istom je izvješću bilo registrirano 511.281 osoba s invaliditetom.

Razloga za to je, objašnjavaju u HZJZ-u, nekoliko - od nešto izmijenjene metodologije vođenja evidencije, preko novog popisa stanovništva (prema kojem se ukupni broj stanovnika smanjio pa je udio osoba s invaliditetom automatski narastao), do općeg starenja stanovništva, procesa koji neminovno dovodi i do većeg broja osoba s teškoćama u svakodnevnom funkcioniranju.

Hrvatski udio značajno je viši od prosjeka. Prema procjenama Ujedinjenih naroda (UN), od deset stanovnika svake zemlje jedan je u izvjesnoj mjeri osoba s invaliditetom. To je pravilo ranijih godina više-manje bilo primjenjivo i na Hrvatsku.

Prema Zakonu o Registru osoba s invaliditetom, osoba s invaliditetom je svaka osoba koja ima dugo trajna tjelesna, mentalna, intelektualna ili osjetilna oštećenja koja u međudjelovanju s različitim preprekama mogu sprječavati njezino puno i učinkovito sudjelovanje u društvu na ravnopravnoj osnovi s drugima.

- Činjenica je da smo ovogodišnje izvješće radili na osnovu novog popisa stanovništva, koji ima bitno manje registriranih osoba nego izvješće na osnovu kojeg smo lani radili prema popisu stanovništva iz 2011. godine - objašnjava autor Izvješća o osobama s invaliditetom, specijalist javnog zdravstva, dr. Tomislav Benjak iz HZJZ-a, koji se godinama bavi ovom tematikom te zaključuje kako - iako brojevi govore drugačije - velikog porasta osoba s invaliditetom nema.

Uz to, dodaje, promijenila se i metodologija unosa podataka, što se pripisuje boljoj povezanosti baza podataka i većoj ažurnosti upisa u registar, piše novinarka Jutarnjeg lista Ivana Krnić.

Svaki šesti stanovnik Hrvatske, odnosno 16 posto ukupne populacije ima neku vrstu invaliditeta. Prema Izvješću o osobama s invaliditetom koje je objavio Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, 1. rujna ove godine u Hrvatskoj je živjelo 624.019 osoba s invaliditetom, piše u petak Jutarnji list.

Taj je broj u samo tri godine narastao za čak 110.000 osoba - tijekom 2019. u istom je izvješću bilo registrirano 511.281 osoba s invaliditetom.

Razloga za to je, objašnjavaju u HZJZ-u, nekoliko - od nešto izmijenjene metodologije vođenja evidencije, preko novog popisa stanovništva (prema kojem se ukupni broj stanovnika smanjio pa je udio osoba s invaliditetom automatski narastao), do općeg starenja stanovništva, procesa koji neminovno dovodi i do većeg broja osoba s teškoćama u svakodnevnom funk...
