Hrabri Dugopoljac Mateo Dodoja godinu dana se bori s posljedicama teške ozljede loma vratnog kralješka koju je zadobio prilikom skoka u more na splitskim Bačvicama. Nesreća se dogodila 26. srpnja prošle godine te je 15-godišnjak hitno operiran u KBC Split.
Nakon pet sati liječnici su roditeljima kazali kako je operacija prošla dobro, ali su istaknuli da su ozljede ozbiljne jer je došlo do nagnječenja leđne moždine te je ostao bez osjeta u rukama I nogama. U splitskoj bolnici je proveo oko mjesec dana na dječjoj Jedinici intenzivnog liječenja, a nakon otpuštanja za oporavak je ključna bila fizioterapija.
Mateo, majka Maja i otac Goran odlaze u Varaždin gdje su bili pet mjeseci. Tijekom tog perioda Mateo i mama su bili na COVID odjelu.
- Mateo je bio pozitivan bez simptoma, majka mu Maja je imala negativan nalaz, a mjesec dana su dijelili sobu od pet kvadrata. Dodatni problem je bilo što se gore čekalo iz dana u dan da se počne nešto raditi i vježbati, a mog sina su pratili i drugi problemi koji nastaju kao posljedica bolesti.

Kroz taj period, a i danas sam se uvjerio kako su jedina manjina u Hrvatskoj osobe s invaliditetom i djeca s posebnim potrebama. Nemaju nikakva prava. Osim s mojim sinom, to sam vidio i na iskustvima drugih ljudi koje sam upoznao ovaj period. Ljudi nemaju i ne dobivaju ništa.
Nisam mogao čekati sa sinom sto godina da se nešto pokrene jer on sada treba raditi, vježbati i dobiti rezultat jer je ovo dugoročna borba i nemamo vremena čekati. Imali smo soluciju da ostanemo doma i očekivati pomoć od državnih ustanova. Tri četiri puta tjedno po 45 minuta vježbe je ništa.
Sve što mom sinu treba je kontinuirana vježba i rad - kaže nam Goran Dodoja koji je zatim kontaktirao privatnu polikliniku u Zagrebu za koju je dobio preporuku.
Nakon što se dogovorili našli su stan u Zagrebu blizu Poliklinike Glavić gdje su nastavili s rehabilitacijom koju su sami plaćali, a pomogla im je i obitelj te su uspjeli namiriti dio troškova. Osim troškova liječenja, tu su i troškovi života u Zagrebu tako da se radi o povećim iznosima.

- Ništa nije skupo, ako se radi s mojim sinom, a on tamo svaki dan dobije što mu treba i zadovoljni smo jer svaki dan vidimo napredak. Za mene je uspjeh da on digne ruku i zadrži je 30 sekundi do minute u zraku jer je do prije par mjeseci nije mogao ni dignuti.
Kako se radi o specifičnim ozljedama trebat će i godina oporavka, a nema garancije da će on stati na noge. Treba vježbati i vjerovati. U ovoj poliklinici sam vidio stanja pacijenata kada dođu i nakon par mjeseci te se vidi velika razlika u pozitivnom smjeru - ustrajan je otac Goran.
Putem medija želio se zahvaliti svim doktorima i medicinskom osoblju u KBC-u Split koji su se postavili kao da je Mateo njihovo dijete. Zahvaljuje i Anti Ćubeliću, koji je u dramatičnim trenucima prvi priskočio u pomoć, okrenuo Matea u moru i spriječio da se ne uguši.

- Kada su mi sina izvadili iz mora bio je svega svjestan, dao im je šifru od mobitela da nas nazovu. Koliko je znao kakve su tada ozljede ne znam i ne volimo ga ispitivati. Kada pričamo o tome, pričamo jer Mateo sam želi govoriti o tome.
Pozitivan je, borac, vježba i radi. Prvi put kada smo ga vidjeli na dječjoj intenzivnoj njezi bilo je teško za gledati. Ne daj Bože nikome! - prepričava strašne trenutke naš sugovornik.
Pomogli su im i njihovi Dugopoljci koji su pokrenuli donacijsku akciju.
– Mateo je par godina igrao rukomet. Trener Tiho Mustapić je odavno ustrajao da se pokrene akcija pomoći. Rekao je da počinju turniri i da bi on stavio kutiju u koju bi se ubacivali prilozi za pomoć, a nakon toga je iza toga stala i Općina te mnogi dobri ljudi.
Sve što se uplati, potrošit će se na ono za što je namijenjeno. Najviše bih volio da njemu ništa od toga ne bude trebalo i da se rasporedi na druga mjesta gdje je potrebno - ističe Goran Dodoja.

Hrabri Dugopoljac Mateo Dodoja godinu dana se bori s posljedicama teške ozljede loma vratnog kralješka koju je zadobio prilikom skoka u more na splitskim Bačvicama. Nesreća se dogodila 26. srpnja prošle godine te je 15-godišnjak hitno operiran u KBC Split.
Nakon pet sati liječnici su roditeljima kazali kako je operacija prošla dobro, ali su istaknuli da su ozljede ozbiljne jer je došlo do nagnječenja leđne moždine te je ostao bez osjeta u rukama I nogama. U splitskoj bolnici je proveo oko mjesec dana na dječjoj Jedinici intenzivnog liječenja, a nakon otpuštanja za oporavak je ključna bila fizioterapija.
Mateo, majka Maja i otac Goran odlaze u Varaždin gdje su bili pet mjeseci. Tijekom tog perioda Mateo i mama su bili na COVID odjelu.
- Mateo je bio pozitivan bez simptoma, majka mu Maja je imala negativan nalaz, a mjesec dana su dijelili sobu od pet kvadrata. Dodatni problem je bilo što se gore čekalo iz dana u dan da se počne nešto raditi i vježbati, a mog sina su pratili i drugi problemi koji nastaju kao posljedica bolesti.

Kroz taj period, a i danas sam se uvjerio kako su jedina manjina u Hrvatskoj osobe s invaliditetom i djeca s posebnim potrebama. Nemaju nikakva prava. Osim s mojim sinom, to sam vidio i na iskustvima drugih ljudi koje sam upoznao ovaj period. Ljudi nemaju i ne dobivaju ništa.
Nisam mogao čekati sa sinom sto godina da se nešto pokrene jer on sada treba raditi, vježbati i dobiti rezultat jer je ovo dugoročna borba i nemamo vremena čekati. Imali smo soluciju da ostanemo doma i očekivati pomoć od državnih ustanova. Tri četiri puta tjedno po 45 minuta vježbe je ništa.
Sve što mom sinu treba je kontinuirana vježba i rad - kaže nam Goran Dodoja koji je zatim kontaktirao privatnu polikliniku u Zagrebu za koju je dobio preporuku.
Nakon što se dogovorili našli su stan u Zagrebu blizu Poliklinike Glavić gdje su nastavili s rehabilitacijom koju su sami plaćali, a pomogla im je i obitelj te su uspjeli namiriti dio troškova. Osim troškova liječenja, tu su i troškovi života u Zagrebu tako da se radi o povećim iznosima.

- Ništa nije skupo, ako se radi s mojim sinom, a on tamo svaki dan dobije što mu treba i zadovoljni smo jer svaki dan vidimo napredak. Za mene je uspjeh da on digne ruku i zadrži je 30 sekundi do minute u zraku jer je do prije par mjeseci nije mogao ni dignuti.
Kako se radi o specifičnim ozljedama trebat će i godina oporavka, a nema garancije da će on stati na noge. Treba vježbati i vjerovati. U ovoj poliklinici sam vidio stanja pacijenata kada dođu i nakon par mjeseci te se vidi velika razlika u pozitivnom smjeru - ustrajan je otac Goran.
Putem medija želio se zahvaliti svim doktorima i medicinskom osoblju u KBC-u Split koji su se postavili kao da je Mateo njihovo dijete. Zahvaljuje i Anti Ćubeliću, koji je u dramatičnim trenucima prvi priskočio u pomoć, okrenuo Matea u moru i spriječio da se ne uguši.

- Kada su mi sina izvadili iz mora bio je svega svjestan, dao im je šifru od mobitela da nas nazovu. Koliko je znao kakve su tada ozljede ne znam i ne volimo ga ispitivati. Kada pričamo o tome, pričamo jer Mateo sam želi govoriti o tome.
Pozitivan je, borac, vježba i radi. Prvi put kada smo ga vidjeli na dječjoj intenzivnoj njezi bilo je teško za gledati. Ne daj Bože nikome! - prepričava strašne trenutke naš sugovornik.
Pomogli su im i njihovi Dugopoljci koji su pokrenuli donacijsku akciju.
– Mateo je par godina igrao rukomet. Trener Tiho Mustapić je odavno ustrajao da se pokrene akcija pomoći. Rekao je da počinju turniri i da bi on stavio kutiju u koju bi se ubacivali prilozi za pomoć, a nakon toga je iza toga stala i Općina te mnogi dobri ljudi.
Sve što se uplati, potrošit će se na ono za što je namijenjeno. Najviše bih volio da njemu ništa od toga ne bude trebalo i da se rasporedi na druga mjesta gdje je potrebno - ističe Goran Dodoja.
