Nacija je proteklog vikenda još jednom bila poslovično raspolućena – jedni su odahnuli i zahvalili Bogu što riječki “Let 3”, ta besramna ekipa koja nas kolektivno sramoti, nije dospio dalje od 13. mjesta na Eurosongu, druga polovina je razočarana ishodom budući da je optimistično držala da “letovci” mogu pobijediti.

I jedni i drugi u nerazmjeru između glasova publike i glasova stručnih žirija u zemljama sudionicama toga natjecanja nalaze argumente za sebe – jednima je sud struke krunski dokaz da zbilja “Let 3” ne vrijedi ni pišljiva boba, drugi u evidentnoj podršci publike vide dokaze genijalnosti Prlje, Mrle i ekipe. Šutljiva masa onih koji ne drže do Eurosonga i koja je u subotu navečer gledala ljubiće, krimiće ili dokumentarce na televiziji, bila je malobrojnija nego ikad.

Hrvatska potreba za trofejom i za junacima i ovog je puta, kao i inače na brdovitom Balkanu koji rijetko pjesmom može impresionirati bilo koga u Europi, ostala nezadovoljena. No ovaj put, količina hejtera spram naših predstavnika bila je izrazito glasna, što nije uopće čudno – “Let 3” nisu ni “dizajnirani” da se svide svima. Dapače, oni čitavu svoju karijeru temelje na provociranju i poricanju dominantnih narativa nacionalnog identiteta. Kako je o njima u iznenađujuće upućenom tekstu napisala dr. Catherine Baker, profesorica na britanskom sveučilištu Hull, “stav koji bend ‘Let 3’ izražava više od trideset godina jest da su patrijarhat, homofobija i muška nesigurnost temeljni uzroci militarizma, nacionalizma i rata”.

Riječ je o stručnjakinji čije se doktorsko istraživanje bavilo politikama nacionalnog identiteta i popularne glazbe tijekom i nakon jugoslavenskih ratova i koja je više od 15 godina istraživala kulturnu politiku natjecanja za Pjesmu Eurovizije. Ona je, uostalom, i doktorirala na temu “Popularna glazba i narativi identiteta u Hrvatskoj od 1991.”, pa kad ona objavi da kad “’Let 3’ iziđe na pozornicu u Liverpoolu sa svojom antimilitarističkom rock operom, svirat će na samom rubu onoga što je politički uopće moguće u prostoru Eurovizije”. Dakle, ona je, s distance, ali vrlo znalački, zaključila kako je sama pojava “Leta 3” na sceni toga glazbenog natjecanja događaj bez presedana pa su oni, uvjetno kazano, izvan i iznad same borbe za titulu. Konkretno, dr. Baker kaže da je “u svom bliskom bavljenju totalitarnom estetikom, ‘Let 3’ postigao maksimum u približavanju Eurovizije slovenskome ‘Laibachu’, koji više od četrdeset godina drži publiku u nagađanju što zapravo znači poigravanje s temama i vizualima komunističke i fašističke propagande”.

Umjetnost “Leta 3” nije za svakoga, ali sloboda da je se približi svakome ista je sloboda koja omogućuje da i sama Eurovizija bude sigurno mjesto za LGBTQ+ obožavatelje – i jedna od onih sloboda koja uznemiruje diktatorske umove, stav je dr. Catherine Baker. Ona je, ukratko, još prije finalne večeri, shvatila ono što golema većina hrvatskih gledatelja Eurosonga nije, a to je da “Let 3” nije ni mogao pobijediti. Naime, oni su – ali i cijela, makar i podijeljena Hrvatska! – pobijedili samim time što su “Mamu ŠČ” izveli u Liverpoolu.

Nacija je proteklog vikenda još jednom bila poslovično raspolućena – jedni su odahnuli i zahvalili Bogu što riječki “Let 3”, ta besramna ekipa koja nas kolektivno sramoti, nije dospio dalje od 13. mjesta na Eurosongu, druga polovina je razočarana ishodom budući da je optimistično držala da “letovci” mogu pobijediti.

I jedni i drugi u nerazmjeru između glasova publike i glasova stručnih žirija u zemljama sudionicama toga natjecanja nalaze argumente za sebe – jednima je sud struke krunski dokaz da zbilja “Let 3” ne vrijedi ni pišljiva boba, drugi u evidentnoj podršci publike vide dokaze genijalnosti Prlje, Mrle i ekipe. Šutljiva masa onih koji ne drže do Eurosonga i koja je u subotu navečer gledala ljubiće, krimiće ili dokumentarce na televiziji, bila je malobrojnija nego ikad.

Hrvatska potreba za trofejom i za junacima i ovog je puta, kao i inače na brdovitom Balkanu koji rijetko pjesmom može impresionirati bilo koga u Europi, ostala nezadovoljena. No ovaj put, količina hejtera spram naših predstavnika bila je izrazito glasna, što nije uopće čudno – “Let 3” nisu ni “dizajnirani” da se svide svima. Dapače, oni čitavu svoju karijeru temelje na provociranju i poricanju dominantnih narativa nacionalnog identiteta. Kako je o njima u iznenađujuće upućenom tekstu napisala dr. Catherine Baker, profesorica na britanskom sveučilištu Hull, “stav koji bend ‘Let 3’ izražava više od trideset godina jest da su patrijarhat, homofobija i muška nesigurnost temeljni uzroci militarizma, nacionalizma i rata”.

Riječ je o stručnjakinji čije se doktorsko istraživanje bavilo politikama nacionalnog identiteta i popularne glazbe tijekom i nakon jugoslavenskih ratova i koja je više od 15 godina istraživala kulturnu politiku natjecanja za Pjesmu Eurovizije. Ona je, uostalom, i doktorirala na temu “Popularna glazba i narativi identiteta u Hrvatskoj od 1991.”, pa kad ona objavi da kad “’Let 3’ iziđe na pozornicu u Liverpoolu sa svojom antimilitarističkom rock operom, svirat će na samom rubu onoga što je politički uopće moguće u prostoru Eurovizije”. Dakle, ona je, s distance, ali vrlo znalački, zaključila kako je sama pojava “Leta 3” na sceni toga glazbenog natjecanja događaj bez presedana pa su oni, uvjetno kazano, izvan i iznad same borbe za titulu. Konkretno, dr. Baker kaže da je “u svom bliskom bavljenju totalitarnom estetikom, ‘Let 3’ postigao maksimum u približavanju Eurovizije slovenskome ‘Laibachu’, koji više od četrdeset godina drži publiku u nagađanju što zapravo znači poigravanje s temama i vizualima komunističke i fašističke propagande”.

Umjetnost “Leta 3” nije za svakoga, ali sloboda da je se približi svakome ista je sloboda koja omogućuje da i sama Eurovizija bude sigurno mjesto za LGBTQ+ obožavatelje – i jedna od onih sloboda koja uznemiruje diktatorske umove, stav je dr. Catherine Baker. Ona je, ukratko, još prije finalne večeri, shvatila ono što golema većina hrvatskih gledatelja Eurosonga nije, a to je da “Let 3” nije ni mogao pobijediti. Naime, oni su – ali i cijela, makar i podijeljena Hrvatska! – pobijedili samim time što su “Mamu ŠČ” izveli u Liverpoolu.

Eda Vujević: ‘‘Let 3‘ i cijela, makar i podijeljena Hrvatska, pobijedili su time što su ‘Mamu ŠČ‘ izveli u Liverpoolu

Nacija je proteklog vikenda još jednom bila poslovično raspolućena – jedni su odahnuli i zahvalili Bogu što riječki “Let 3”, ta besramna ekipa koja nas kolektivno sramoti, nije dospio dalje od 13. mjesta na Eurosongu, druga polovina je razočarana ishodom budući da je optimistično držala da “letovci” mogu pobijediti.

I jedni i drugi u nerazmjeru između glasova publike i glasova stručnih žirija u zemljama sudionicama toga natjecanja nalaze argumente za sebe – jednima je sud struke krunski dokaz da zbilja “Let 3” ne vrijedi ni pišljiva boba, drugi u evidentnoj podršci publike vide dokaze genijalnosti Prlje, Mrle i ekipe. Šutljiva masa onih koji ne drže do Eurosonga i koja je u subotu navečer gledala ljubiće, krimiće ili dokumentarce na televiziji, bila je malobrojnija neg...
