Srčani, emocijama nabijeni govor župnika Špoljara zasjenio je sve prethodne: vojnog ordinarija, biskupa Josipa Jezerinca, te vikara Škvorčeca iz Ličko-senjske biskupije.
– Vjerujem da će mu Bog oprostiti slabosti i grijehe koje je kao čovjek mogao počiniti – rekao je, nižući uspjehe svog kumčeta, koji su, rekao je, dovoljni da bi na svoj imendan otišao kod 'dobrog Boga'.
Dovoljnim uspjesima drži njegov strastveni rad s vjernicima: krštenja, pomazanja, ispovijedi itd., te fizički rad na obnovi jer je bio poznat kao graditelj i obnovitelj crkava.
– Da nije ništa učinio nego to, u očima Boga je puno učinio – rekao je i biskup Jezerinac, koji kao i ostali svećenici koji su govorili na misi, vidi posebnu simboliku u župnikovoj nasilnoj smrti na Cvjetnicu, pogreb na blagdan Sv. Josipa, dakle njegov imendan te bližećem Uskrsu.
– Poziv je to na razmišljanje – rekao je Jezerinac.
Glasnih koji bi optuživali ubijenog župnika zbog slabosti običnih smrtnika, na samom sprovodu nije bilo. Osim vojske iz Ogulina gdje je bio kapelan, bilo je tu i mnoštvo župljana iz Generalskog Stola, pristiglih u deset autobusa.
Kako se čini, tko mu je što zamjerao, jučer mu je oprostio, kao što je biskup Jezerinac poručio da će 'Josip iz vječnosti poželjeti da dobri Bog bude milostiv prema čovjeku koji ga je na Cvjetnicu pogodio ubojitim zrnom.'

Srčani, emocijama nabijeni govor župnika Špoljara zasjenio je sve prethodne: vojnog ordinarija, biskupa Josipa Jezerinca, te vikara Škvorčeca iz Ličko-senjske biskupije.
– Vjerujem da će mu Bog oprostiti slabosti i grijehe koje je kao čovjek mogao počiniti – rekao je, nižući uspjehe svog kumčeta, koji su, rekao je, dovoljni da bi na svoj imendan otišao kod 'dobrog Boga'.
Dovoljnim uspjesima drži njegov strastveni rad s vjernicima: krštenja, pomazanja, ispovijedi itd., te fizički rad na obnovi jer je bio poznat kao graditelj i obnovitelj crkava.
– Da nije ništa učinio nego to, u očima Boga je puno učinio – rekao je i biskup Jezerinac, koji kao i ostali svećenici koji su govorili na misi, vidi posebnu simboliku u župnikovoj nasilnoj smrti na Cvjetnicu, pogreb na blagdan Sv. Josipa, dakle njegov imendan te bližećem Uskrsu.
– Poziv je to na razmišljanje – rekao je Jezerinac.
Glasnih koji bi optuživali ubijenog župnika zbog slabosti običnih smrtnika, na samom sprovodu nije bilo. Osim vojske iz Ogulina gdje je bio kapelan, bilo je tu i mnoštvo župljana iz Generalskog Stola, pristiglih u deset autobusa.
Kako se čini, tko mu je što zamjerao, jučer mu je oprostio, kao što je biskup Jezerinac poručio da će 'Josip iz vječnosti poželjeti da dobri Bog bude milostiv prema čovjeku koji ga je na Cvjetnicu pogodio ubojitim zrnom.'
