Bivši australski prvak u plivanju 32-godišnji James Magnussen kaže da je spreman dopingirati se kako bi oborio svjetski rekord na 50 metara slobodno i spremio u džep nagradu od milijun dolara (1,08 milijuna eura).

Magnussen, svjetski prvak na 100 metara slobodno iz 2011. i 2013., planira izaći iz mirovine kako bi sudjelovao u "Enhanced Games", gdje neće biti doping kontrole, čime se sudionicima zapravo dopušta korištenje zabranjenih sredstava.

Magnussen, koji se umirovio 2018., bio bi prvo veliko ime koje bi se pridružilo ovom vrlo kontroverznom projektu, koji je 2023. pokrenuo australski biznismen Aron D‘Souza, a ne podliježe pravilima Svjetske antidopinške agencije.

Bivši australski prvak u plivanju 32-godišnji James Magnussen kaže da je spreman dopingirati se kako bi oborio svjetski rekord na 50 metara slobodno i spremio u džep nagradu od milijun dolara (1,08 milijuna eura).

Magnussen, svjetski prvak na 100 metara slobodno iz 2011. i 2013., planira izaći iz mirovine kako bi sudjelovao u "Enhanced Games", gdje neće biti doping kontrole, čime se sudionicima zapravo dopušta korištenje zabranjenih sredstava.

Magnussen, koji se umirovio 2018., bio bi prvo veliko ime koje bi se pridružilo ovom vrlo kontroverznom projektu, koji je 2023. pokrenuo australski biznismen Aron D‘Souza, a ne podliježe pravilima Svjetske antidopinške agencije.
