U meču protiv Puig obje su tenisačice imale pregršt prilika za break, Portorikana čak 19, Silvija četiri manje, ali ih je iskoistila sedam, dok je Puig uspjela samo četiri puta napraviti break. Zagrepčanka Njirić, rođena 1993. godine, na putu do finala mora pobijediti još samo Ukrajinku Jelinu Svitolinu koja je godinu mlađa od Njirićke.

I Zagrepčanka i splitski as Pavić rođeni su 1993. godine, no razlika je ogromna u muškom i ženskom juniorskom tenisu. Naime, u ženskom polufinalu Njirićka je najstarija, njezina protivnica je godinu mlađa, baš kao i Ons Jabeur iz Tunisa, dok je ruska djevojčica Irina Kromačeva rođena 1995. godine!

U muškom je, pak, turniru Pavić, Njirićkin vršnjak, bio najmlađi sudionik četvrtfinala, a u polufinalu su sva četvorica tenisača rođeni 1992. godine. No, ne umanjuje to uspjeh mlade Zagrepčanke od koje svakako u godinama koje dolaze očekujemo i ozbiljnije seniorske korake.

U meču protiv Puig obje su tenisačice imale pregršt prilika za break, Portorikana čak 19, Silvija četiri manje, ali ih je iskoistila sedam, dok je Puig uspjela samo četiri puta napraviti break. Zagrepčanka Njirić, rođena 1993. godine, na putu do finala mora pobijediti još samo Ukrajinku Jelinu Svitolinu koja je godinu mlađa od Njirićke.

I Zagrepčanka i splitski as Pavić rođeni su 1993. godine, no razlika je ogromna u muškom i ženskom juniorskom tenisu. Naime, u ženskom polufinalu Njirićka je najstarija, njezina protivnica je godinu mlađa, baš kao i Ons Jabeur iz Tunisa, dok je ruska djevojčica Irina Kromačeva rođena 1995. godine!

U muškom je, pak, turniru Pavić, Njirićkin vršnjak, bio najmlađi sudionik četvrtfinala, a u polufinalu su sva četvorica tenisača rođeni 1992. godine. No, ne umanjuje to uspjeh mlade Zagrepčanke od koje svakako u godinama koje dolaze očekujemo i ozbiljnije seniorske korake.

Silvija Njirić plasirala se u polufinale juniorskog Roland Garrosa, dok je Mate Pavić bio nadomak istog ostvarenja, no zapeo je u dramatičnom trećem setu. Njirić je sa 6:0, 3:6, 6:3 pobijedila prvu nositeljicu i treću juniorku svijeta Monicu Puig (Portoriko), dok je Peruanac Duilio Berreta sa 6:2, 6:7 (2), 8:6 pobijedio Pavića.
