Riječ je o Craigu Napieru i Lloydu Wilsonu koji su tako postali prvi deklarirani homoseksualci u škotskom nogometu od Justina Fashanua koji je igrao za Airdrie, a onda kasnije i za Hearts.

Napier, koji je sudio 10 utakmica škotske Premierlige u sezoni 2021/22, progovorio je o svojoj seksualnosti u videu objavljenom na službenom Twitter profilu Škotskog nogometnog saveza, prenose Sportske novosti.

- Ljudi moraju biti vjerni sebi i živjeti sretno i osjećati se ugodno u svojoj koži. Ta promjena klime se mora prenijeti i na nogomet - rekao je Napier.

Wilson, koji sudi u škotskim nižim ligama, svoje je priznanje objavio putem Youtubea. Upuitan zašto se sada tek odlučio 'izaći iz ormara', Wilson je rekao:

- Mislim iskreno razlog što je to bilo užasno putovanje. Putovanje koje je trajalo možda 17 godina tijekom kojeg sam živio kako nisam želio, živio sam u laži na način kako su drugi željeli da živim.

Blackpoolov napadač Jake Daniels prošlog je mjeseca postao prvi britanski profesionalni nogometaš koji je priznao homoseksualnu orijentaciju od ranije spomenutog Fashanua iz 1990ih.

Riječ je o Craigu Napieru i Lloydu Wilsonu koji su tako postali prvi deklarirani homoseksualci u škotskom nogometu od Justina Fashanua koji je igrao za Airdrie, a onda kasnije i za Hearts.

Napier, koji je sudio 10 utakmica škotske Premierlige u sezoni 2021/22, progovorio je o svojoj seksualnosti u videu objavljenom na službenom Twitter profilu Škotskog nogometnog saveza, prenose Sportske novosti.

- Ljudi moraju biti vjerni sebi i živjeti sretno i osjećati se ugodno u svojoj koži. Ta promjena klime se mora prenijeti i na nogomet - rekao je Napier.

Wilson, koji sudi u škotskim nižim ligama, svoje je priznanje objavio putem Youtubea. Upuitan zašto se sada tek odlučio 'izaći iz ormara', Wilson je rekao:

- Mislim iskreno razlog što je to bilo užasno putovanje. Putovanje koje je trajalo možda 17 godina tijekom kojeg sam živio kako nisam želio, živio sam u laži na način kako su drugi željeli da živim.

Blackpoolov napadač Jake Daniels prošlog je mjeseca postao prvi britanski profesionalni nogometaš koji je priznao homoseksualnu orijentaciju od ranije spomenutog Fashanua iz 1990ih.

Riječ je o Craigu Napieru i Lloydu Wilsonu koji su tako postali prvi deklarirani homoseksualci u škotskom nogometu od Justina Fashanua koji je igrao za Airdrie, a onda kasnije i za Hearts.

Napier, koji je sudio 10 utakmica škotske Premierlige u sezoni 2021/22, progovorio je o svojoj seksualnosti u videu objavljenom na službenom Twitter profilu Škotskog nogometnog saveza, prenose Sportske novosti.

- Ljudi moraju biti vjerni sebi i živjeti sretno i osjećati se ugodno u svojoj koži. Ta promjena klime se mora prenijeti i na nogomet - rekao je Napier.

Wilson, koji sudi u škotskim nižim ligama, svoje je priznanje objavio putem Youtubea. Upuitan zašto se sada tek odlučio 'izaći iz ormara', Wilson je rekao:
