Vezni igrač islandske nogometne reprezentacije i engleskog premierligaša Evertona Gylfi Sigurdsson (28) ozlijedio je koljeno u ligaškom ogledu protiv Brightona i njegov nastup na svjetskom prvenstvu, gdje će Island igrati u skupini s Hrvatskom, je pod znakom pitanja.

Sigurdsson je ozlijedio ligamente koljena, no tek nakon specijalističkog pregleda bit će poznato vrijeme oporavka. U klubu i reprezentaciji za sada šute, međutim oglasio se njegov brat Olafur Mar Sigurdsson koji strahuje kako bi se oporavak mogao odužiti.

"Sve će biti jasnije nakon pregleda, ali bojim se," poručio je  Olafur Mar Sigurdsson.

Sigurdsson je u Everton stigao u kolovozu 2017. godine iz Swansea Cityja za 45 milijuna eura postavši najskuplji igrač "Toffeesa". Za reprezentaciju je odigrao 55 utakmica i postigao 18 golova.

Islandska reprezentacija prvu utakmicu na SP-u u Rusiji igra 16. lipnja protiv Argentine, dok će protiv Hrvatske igrati u posljednjem kolu D skupine, 26. lipnja u Rostovu na Donu.

Vezni igrač islandske nogometne reprezentacije i engleskog premierligaša Evertona Gylfi Sigurdsson (28) ozlijedio je koljeno u ligaškom ogledu protiv Brightona i njegov nastup na svjetskom prvenstvu, gdje će Island igrati u skupini s Hrvatskom, je pod znakom pitanja.

Sigurdsson je ozlijedio ligamente koljena, no tek nakon specijalističkog pregleda bit će poznato vrijeme oporavka. U klubu i reprezentaciji za sada šute, međutim oglasio se njegov brat Olafur Mar Sigurdsson koji strahuje kako bi se oporavak mogao odužiti.

"Sve će biti jasnije nakon pregleda, ali bojim se," poručio je  Olafur Mar Sigurdsson.

Sigurdsson je u Everton stigao u kolovozu 2017. godine iz Swansea Cityja za 45 milijuna eura postavši najskuplji igrač "Toffeesa". Za reprezentaciju je odigrao 55 utakmica i postigao 18 golova.

Islandska reprezentacija prvu utakmicu na SP-u u Rusiji igra 16. lipnja protiv Argentine, dok će protiv Hrvatske igrati u posljednjem kolu D skupine, 26. lipnja u Rostovu na Donu.
