Kaštela opet imaju dva jaka predstavnika u domaćoj ženskoj odbojkaškoj konkurenciji.
Već su valjda svi naučili da su kaštelanski odbojkaši godinama u vrhu svog sporta, no nisu usamljeni u gradu jer i odbojkašice Marine Kaštela i Kaštela Cemexa također bilježe dobre rezultate, kako zadnjih tako i ove sezone pa je današnji gradski derbi u 17 sati itekako bitan za obje ekipe.
Naime, igra se posljednje kolo prvog dijela prvenstva, „marinke“ su druge, a „malene“ četvrte, na tim pozicijama sigurno i ostaju bez obzira na ishod današnje utakmice, no ono što susret čini od velike važnosti je prenošenje bodova u drugi krug natjecanja, onaj koji se igra za određivanje poretka prije ulaska u samu završnicu prvenstva.
Odbojkašice Marine Kaštela aktualne su prvakinje Hrvatske pa bez obzira na dosta izmjenjenu ekipu od te šampionske sezone svugdje ih dočekuju s respektom, trenutno su druge, ispred je jedino zagrebačka Mladost koja igra vrhunsku odbojku i još ne zna za poraz.
Ipak, „marinke“ će, kako sada stvari stoje, sigurno imati priliku obraniti prošlosezonski trofej pa bi im današnja pobjeda mnogo značila u vidu dobivanja nešto lakšeg ždrijeba na tom putu.
S druge strane mreže naći će se odbojkašice Kaštela Cemexa, od milja zvane „malene“ koje su sigurno jedno od ljepših ovosezonskih iznenađenja. Unatoč dosta mladoj ekipi koja sa sobom nosi puno oscilacija u igri, cure su uspjele osigurati nastavak prvenstva u prvoj skupini, odnosno zagarantirale su sebi minimalno nastup u četvrtfinalu, a s obzirom kako ih ide ove sezone, ne bi bilo čudno da naprave i korak dalje.
Međutim, već su „malene“ napravile jedan odličan rezultat, a to je plasman u finale kupa gdje ih čeka već spomenuti ovosezonski broj jedan domaće odbojke, zagrebačka Mladost. Zanimljivo, u prva dva kola su gostovale te oba puta plasman izborile u petom setu da bi u polufinalu odigrale dva meča baš s današnjim suparnicama te sjajnom igrom došle do dvije pobjede i ulaska u finale.
Osim ta dva susreta, imale su još jedan u prvenstvu, u sedmom kolu „domaćinke“ su bile odbojkašice Marine Kaštela te glatko slavile bez izgubljenog seta. Dakle, mogući su svi ishodi, a kad se tome doda i važnost susreta dobije se sasvim dovoljan razlog za provesti popodne na tribinama.

Kaštela opet imaju dva jaka predstavnika u domaćoj ženskoj odbojkaškoj konkurenciji.
Već su valjda svi naučili da su kaštelanski odbojkaši godinama u vrhu svog sporta, no nisu usamljeni u gradu jer i odbojkašice Marine Kaštela i Kaštela Cemexa također bilježe dobre rezultate, kako zadnjih tako i ove sezone pa je današnji gradski derbi u 17 sati itekako bitan za obje ekipe.
Naime, igra se posljednje kolo prvog dijela prvenstva, „marinke“ su druge, a „malene“ četvrte, na tim pozicijama sigurno i ostaju bez obzira na ishod današnje utakmice, no ono što susret čini od velike važnosti je prenošenje bodova u drugi krug natjecanja, onaj koji se igra za određivanje poretka prije ulaska u samu završnicu prvenstva.
Odbojkašice Marine Kaštela aktualne su prvakinje Hrvatske pa bez obzira na dosta izmjenjenu ekipu od te šampionske sezone svugdje ih dočekuju s respektom, trenutno su druge, ispred je jedino zagrebačka Mladost koja igra vrhunsku odbojku i još ne zna za poraz.
Ipak, „marinke“ će, kako sada stvari stoje, sigurno imati priliku obraniti prošlosezonski trofej pa bi im današnja pobjeda mnogo značila u vidu dobivanja nešto lakšeg ždrijeba na tom putu.
S druge strane mreže naći će se odbojkašice Kaštela Cemexa, od milja zvane „malene“ koje su sigurno jedno od ljepših ovosezonskih iznenađenja. Unatoč dosta mladoj ekipi koja sa sobom nosi puno oscilacija u igri, cure su uspjele osigurati nastavak prvenstva u prvoj skupini, odnosno zagarantirale su sebi minimalno nastup u četvrtfinalu, a s obzirom kako ih ide ove sezone, ne bi bilo čudno da naprave i korak dalje.
Međutim, već su „malene“ napravile jedan odličan rezultat, a to je plasman u finale kupa gdje ih čeka već spomenuti ovosezonski broj jedan domaće odbojke, zagrebačka Mladost. Zanimljivo, u prva dva kola su gostovale te oba puta plasman izborile u petom setu da bi u polufinalu odigrale dva meča baš s današnjim suparnicama te sjajnom igrom došle do dvije pobjede i ulaska u finale.
Osim ta dva susreta, imale su još jedan u prvenstvu, u sedmom kolu „domaćinke“ su bile odbojkašice Marine Kaštela te glatko slavile bez izgubljenog seta. Dakle, mogući su svi ishodi, a kad se tome doda i važnost susreta dobije se sasvim dovoljan razlog za provesti popodne na tribinama.
