Hrvatski gimnastičar Robert Seligman neće moći nastaviti s nastupima na preostala dva olimpijska kvalifikacijska turnira u Bakuu i Dohi jer su rendgenske snimke ipak pokazale da je srednji prst ruke slomljen.

Seligman je ozlijedio ruku u subotu prilikom izvođenja vježbe u finalu Svjetskog kupa u Melbourneu. Liječnici u Australiji dislocirani prst odmah su namjestili i bandažirali, no snimke po povratku u Hrvatsku potvrdile su najgore sumnje. Robert Seligman završio je svoj lov na Olimpijske igre u Tokiju.

"Nadali smo se ipak da je samo istegnuće, ali prst je slomljen. Na žalost, moj san o Tokiju je gotov. Moram mirovati tri tjedna, što znači da ću propustiti sljedeća dva kvalifikacijska turnira. Ali, trenirat ću sve ono što ne ometa ruku i držati formu kako bih bio potpuno spreman do svibnja za Svjetski kup u Varni i ono najbitnije, Europsko prvenstvo u Bakuu", objasnio je Seligman.

"Iskreno, ne mogu reći da mi je pretjerano žao, zato što sam ja Igre u Tokiju već jednom prebolio. Točnije prebolijevao sam ih mjesec i pol dana nakon što mi se dogodio peh na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Stuttgartu, ipak sam se tamo realno trebao kvalificirati na OI. Zatomio sam već to u sebi i kada mi je ostala zadnja kvalifikacijska šansa, preko posljednja četiri Svjetska kupa, rekao sam si da ću dati sve od sebe pa gdje me to odvede.

Bio je izazov, dao sam stvarno sve i evo, dogodila mi se prva ovakva ozljeda u mojih 17 godina na seniorskoj sceni. Nema žaljenja. Znam što sam sve napravio, što sam dao gimnastici i što još mogu. Nastaviti ću dalje. Ako me Stuttgart nije uništio i maknuo s konja, neće ni ovo. Sve ću ja to preživjeti i vratiti se još jači", poručio je Robert Seligman.

Hrvatski gimnastičar Robert Seligman neće moći nastaviti s nastupima na preostala dva olimpijska kvalifikacijska turnira u Bakuu i Dohi jer su rendgenske snimke ipak pokazale da je srednji prst ruke slomljen.

Seligman je ozlijedio ruku u subotu prilikom izvođenja vježbe u finalu Svjetskog kupa u Melbourneu. Liječnici u Australiji dislocirani prst odmah su namjestili i bandažirali, no snimke po povratku u Hrvatsku potvrdile su najgore sumnje. Robert Seligman završio je svoj lov na Olimpijske igre u Tokiju.

"Nadali smo se ipak da je samo istegnuće, ali prst je slomljen. Na žalost, moj san o Tokiju je gotov. Moram mirovati tri tjedna, što znači da ću propustiti sljedeća dva kvalifikacijska turnira. Ali, trenirat ću sve ono što ne ometa ruku i držati formu kako bih bio potpuno spreman do svibnja za Svjetski kup u Varni i ono najbitnije, Europsko prvenstvo u Bakuu", objasnio je Seligman.

"Iskreno, ne mogu reći da mi je pretjerano žao, zato što sam ja Igre u Tokiju već jednom prebolio. Točnije prebolijevao sam ih mjesec i pol dana nakon što mi se dogodio peh na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Stuttgartu, ipak sam se tamo realno trebao kvalificirati na OI. Zatomio sam već to u sebi i kada mi je ostala zadnja kvalifikacijska šansa, preko posljednja četiri Svjetska kupa, rekao sam si da ću dati sve od sebe pa gdje me to odvede.

Bio je izazov, dao sam stvarno sve i evo, dogodila mi se prva ovakva ozljeda u mojih 17 godina na seniorskoj sceni. Nema žaljenja. Znam što sam sve napravio, što sam dao gimnastici i što još mogu. Nastaviti ću dalje. Ako me Stuttgart nije uništio i maknuo s konja, neće ni ovo. Sve ću ja to preživjeti i vratiti se još jači", poručio je Robert Seligman.
