Na posljednjoj sjednici općinskog Vijeća Proložac, a na prijedlog Poglavarstva, jedna od točaka dnevnog reda bila je da novoizgrađena sportska dvorana nosi ime „Mate Parlov“!

Zanimljivo, vijećnici su taj prijedlog jednoglasno odbili! Načelnik Mate Lasić je uvodno obrazložio, kako nedavno preminuli sportski velikan vuče korijene iz Ričica, općina Proložac, i da kao vrhunski sportaš takvo što zaslužuje. Načelnik Lasić je kazao, da je potražio suglasnost obitelji, te da nemaju ništa protiv takve ideje, i da bi vrlo rado došli u Proložac, vidjeti jednu od najvećih školskih, sportskih dvorana u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji.

Međutim, ideju i prijedlog općinskog načelnika nisu prihvatili vijećnici, podjednako oporbeni i vladajući, što je vrlo rijetko i iznenađujuće, da su tako često suprotstavljene strane, našle suglasnost.

Rasprava je išla u tom smjeru da proslavljeni sportaš, višestruki boksački prvak bivše države, osvajač olimpijskog zlata, evropski i svjetski prvak nikad nije posjetio Proložac!?

Zaključak vijećničke rasprave je taj, da uz dužno poštovanje najboljem hrvatskom sportašu 20 stoljeća, ipak odluku, o imenu dvorane, ne treba donositi na prečac! Na jednoj od idućih sjednica ponovno će se raspravljati o ovom prijedlogu, a dali će isti vijećnici promijenit mišljene ostaje za vidjet, do tada će se zvati „Školska-sportska dvorana – Proložac“.

Na posljednjoj sjednici općinskog Vijeća Proložac, a na prijedlog Poglavarstva, jedna od točaka dnevnog reda bila je da novoizgrađena sportska dvorana nosi ime „Mate Parlov“!

Zanimljivo, vijećnici su taj prijedlog jednoglasno odbili! Načelnik Mate Lasić je uvodno obrazložio, kako nedavno preminuli sportski velikan vuče korijene iz Ričica, općina Proložac, i da kao vrhunski sportaš takvo što zaslužuje. Načelnik Lasić je kazao, da je potražio suglasnost obitelji, te da nemaju ništa protiv takve ideje, i da bi vrlo rado došli u Proložac, vidjeti jednu od najvećih školskih, sportskih dvorana u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji.

Međutim, ideju i prijedlog općinskog načelnika nisu prihvatili vijećnici, podjednako oporbeni i vladajući, što je vrlo rijetko i iznenađujuće, da su tako često suprotstavljene strane, našle suglasnost.

Rasprava je išla u tom smjeru da proslavljeni sportaš, višestruki boksački prvak bivše države, osvajač olimpijskog zlata, evropski i svjetski prvak nikad nije posjetio Proložac!?

Zaključak vijećničke rasprave je taj, da uz dužno poštovanje najboljem hrvatskom sportašu 20 stoljeća, ipak odluku, o imenu dvorane, ne treba donositi na prečac! Na jednoj od idućih sjednica ponovno će se raspravljati o ovom prijedlogu, a dali će isti vijećnici promijenit mišljene ostaje za vidjet, do tada će se zvati „Školska-sportska dvorana – Proložac“.

Na posljednjoj sjednici općinskog Vijeća Proložac, a na prijedlog Poglavarstva, jedna od točaka dnevnog reda bila je da novoizgrađena sportska dvorana nosi ime „Mate Parlov“!

Zanimljivo, vijećnici su taj prijedlog jednoglasno odbili!
