Najbolja hrvatska sportašica Sandra Perković šestu je godinu zaredom osvojila naslov pobjednice "Dijamantne lige" u bacanju diska, ona je u finalu svoje discipline u Bruxellesu pobijedila hicem od

Za aktualnu olimpijsku pobjednicu te svjetsku i europsku prvakinju niti promjena pravila u "Dijamantnoj ligi" ove sezone nije bila prepreka.

Naime, do ove godine su se zbrajali bodovi sa svim mitinga "Dijamantne lige" te je jedini uvjet za ukupnu pobjedu bio taj da se vodeći atletičar pojavi na posljednjem natjecanju. No, od ove godine je ukupni pobjednik svake discipline onaj atletičar koji pobijedi na završnom natjecanju, dok sva prethodna služe tek kao kvalifikacije.

Perković je na četiri prethodna natjecanja dominirala s tri pobjede i jednim drugim mjestom, a i u Bruxellesu je dokazala kako niti ove sezone nije imala pravu konkurenciju.

Nakon "zagrijavanja" i svađe sa sucima u prve dvije serije, kada je u prvoj bacila 60.43 metara, a u drugoj prestupila, te zauzimala nerealno nisko šesto mjesto u natjecanju, Perković je stvari postavila na svoje mjesto u trećoj seriji u kojoj je njezin disk sletio na 68.82m što je bilo neuhvatljivo za ostale natjecateljice.

Do kraja natjecanja Perković je u petoj seriji bacila 68.68m, no nije uspjela i na petom natjecanju ove sezone prebaciti 70 metara. To joj je prije tri dana u Zagrebu uspjelo dva puta (70.83m, 70.44m).

Drugo mjesto zauzela je svjetska doprvakinja iz Londona Australka Dani Stevens sa 65.85m, a treće Kubanka Denia Caballero sa 64.61m.

Najbolja hrvatska sportašica Sandra Perković šestu je godinu zaredom osvojila naslov pobjednice "Dijamantne lige" u bacanju diska, ona je u finalu svoje discipline u Bruxellesu pobijedila hicem od

Za aktualnu olimpijsku pobjednicu te svjetsku i europsku prvakinju niti promjena pravila u "Dijamantnoj ligi" ove sezone nije bila prepreka.

Naime, do ove godine su se zbrajali bodovi sa svim mitinga "Dijamantne lige" te je jedini uvjet za ukupnu pobjedu bio taj da se vodeći atletičar pojavi na posljednjem natjecanju. No, od ove godine je ukupni pobjednik svake discipline onaj atletičar koji pobijedi na završnom natjecanju, dok sva prethodna služe tek kao kvalifikacije.

Perković je na četiri prethodna natjecanja dominirala s tri pobjede i jednim drugim mjestom, a i u Bruxellesu je dokazala kako niti ove sezone nije imala pravu konkurenciju.

Nakon "zagrijavanja" i svađe sa sucima u prve dvije serije, kada je u prvoj bacila 60.43 metara, a u drugoj prestupila, te zauzimala nerealno nisko šesto mjesto u natjecanju, Perković je stvari postavila na svoje mjesto u trećoj seriji u kojoj je njezin disk sletio na 68.82m što je bilo neuhvatljivo za ostale natjecateljice.

Do kraja natjecanja Perković je u petoj seriji bacila 68.68m, no nije uspjela i na petom natjecanju ove sezone prebaciti 70 metara. To joj je prije tri dana u Zagrebu uspjelo dva puta (70.83m, 70.44m).

Drugo mjesto zauzela je svjetska doprvakinja iz Londona Australka Dani Stevens sa 65.85m, a treće Kubanka Denia Caballero sa 64.61m.
