Hrvatska atletičarka Sara Kolak zauzela je treće mjesto u bacanju koplja na završnom natjecanju "Dijamantne lige" u svojoj disciplini održanom u Zurichu u četvrtak s rezultatom od 64.47 metara.

Olimpijska pobjednica iz Rio de Janeira Kolak je vodila hicem iz treće serije od 64.24m sve do posljednje serije, odnosno sve dok na zaletištu nisu ostale samo tri bacačice. Tada je svjetska rekorderka i svjetska prvakinja Čehinja Barbora Špotakova bacila 65.54m i preuzela vodstvo, a odmah poslije nje Kolak je pretekla i Australka Kelsey-Lee Roberts koja je bacila 64.53m i stigla na drugo mjesto.

Kolak je nakon ta dva hica imala priliku uzvratiti, no iako je izvela svoj najbolji hitac dana od 64.47m ostala je na trećoj poziciji.

Mlada, 22-godišnja Ludbrežanka loše je krenula u natjecanje, prve dvije serije izvela je hice ispod 60 metara (54.55m u prvoj i 59.88m u drugoj seriji), no potom je uslijedila serija dobrih hitaca. U trećoj seriji koplje je sletjelo na 64.24m, u četvrtoj na 62.97m, u petoj na 63.34m, a u šestoj na 64.47m. Ipak, svi su ti hici bili slabiji od onoga s kojim je prije 16 dana zauzela četvrto mjesto na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Londonu (64.95m).

Hrvatska atletičarka Sara Kolak zauzela je treće mjesto u bacanju koplja na završnom natjecanju "Dijamantne lige" u svojoj disciplini održanom u Zurichu u četvrtak s rezultatom od 64.47 metara.

Olimpijska pobjednica iz Rio de Janeira Kolak je vodila hicem iz treće serije od 64.24m sve do posljednje serije, odnosno sve dok na zaletištu nisu ostale samo tri bacačice. Tada je svjetska rekorderka i svjetska prvakinja Čehinja Barbora Špotakova bacila 65.54m i preuzela vodstvo, a odmah poslije nje Kolak je pretekla i Australka Kelsey-Lee Roberts koja je bacila 64.53m i stigla na drugo mjesto.

Kolak je nakon ta dva hica imala priliku uzvratiti, no iako je izvela svoj najbolji hitac dana od 64.47m ostala je na trećoj poziciji.

Mlada, 22-godišnja Ludbrežanka loše je krenula u natjecanje, prve dvije serije izvela je hice ispod 60 metara (54.55m u prvoj i 59.88m u drugoj seriji), no potom je uslijedila serija dobrih hitaca. U trećoj seriji koplje je sletjelo na 64.24m, u četvrtoj na 62.97m, u petoj na 63.34m, a u šestoj na 64.47m. Ipak, svi su ti hici bili slabiji od onoga s kojim je prije 16 dana zauzela četvrto mjesto na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Londonu (64.95m).
