Hrvatska muška reprezentacija u ragbiju 7, olimpijskoj inačici ovog sporta, ostvarila je povijesni uspjeh i prvi put ušla u Championship diviziju Europskog prvenstva.

Hrvatska reprezentacija će se tako iduće sezone nadmetati s najvećim silama poput Irske, Francuske, Velike Britanije, Italije...

Nakon drugog mjesta na turniru u Zagrebu prije tri tjedna, ovaj su vikend na turniru u Budimpešti hrvatski ragbijaši bili četvrti, te su u zbroju bodova zauzeli drugo mjesto u Trophy diviziji i plasman u viši rang.

U skupini su pobijedili Moldaviju (43-0), Luksemburg (24-14) i Švicarsku (14-12). U četvrtfinalu ponovo Švicarsku (38-15), da bi u polufinalu izgubili od Latvije (14-26), a u susretu za broncu od Švedske (10-12).

Ogled protiv Švedske bio je izravni okršaj za ulazak u viši rang. Nakon dva turnira obje su ekipe završile sa po 32 boda. Međutim, prema pravilniku odlučuje ukupna razlika poena na oba turnira. Hrvatska vrsta je bila u velikoj prednosti jer su u posljednji okršaj sezone ušli s razlikom +88, u odnosu na +24 Švedske. Šveđani su pobijedili 12-10, ali je Hrvatska završila druga u ukupnom poretku.

"Ponovo smo hrvatski ragbi učinili ponosnim, ponovo smo ispisali povijest," kazao je za HRS Anthony Poša, koji je najprije reprezentaciju u ‘velikom‘ ragbiju izvukao iz godina nadmetanja u Conference diviziji, što je treći rang, i uveo je u Trophy diviziju, a sada je u ragbiju 7 Hrvatsku uveo u europsku elitu.

Hrvatska će iduće sezone na Europskom prvenstvu ragbija 7, što je olimpijska inačica tog sporta, igrati uz Irsku, Francusku, Španjolsku, Veliku Britaniju, Portugal, Gruziju, Njemačku, Italiju, Belgiju, Litvu i Ukrajinu. Rumunjska i Češka ispale su u Trophy diviziju.

Povijesni rezultat izborili su Jan Vlašić, Marko Svaguša, Filip Perica, Nikola Pavlović, Ivo Perić, Nik Jurišić, Matej Buljanović, Luka Lerotić, Duje Plazibat, Niko Vranešević, Duje Čondić i Luka Kovačić, te Marko Grčić i Diminik Fišić, koji su nastupili na prvom turniru u Zagrebu, a nisu u Budimpešti.

Ukupan poredak nakon dva turnira: Ukrajina 38 bodova, Hrvatska 32, Švedska 32, Latvija 30, Mađarska 26, Švicarska 22, Poljska 10, Luksemburg 10, Moldavija 10, Izrael 9, Danska 7, Bugarska 2.

Hrvatska muška reprezentacija u ragbiju 7, olimpijskoj inačici ovog sporta, ostvarila je povijesni uspjeh i prvi put ušla u Championship diviziju Europskog prvenstva.

Hrvatska reprezentacija će se tako iduće sezone nadmetati s najvećim silama poput Irske, Francuske, Velike Britanije, Italije...

Nakon drugog mjesta na turniru u Zagrebu prije tri tjedna, ovaj su vikend na turniru u Budimpešti hrvatski ragbijaši bili četvrti, te su u zbroju bodova zauzeli drugo mjesto u Trophy diviziji i plasman u viši rang.

U skupini su pobijedili Moldaviju (43-0), Luksemburg (24-14) i Švicarsku (14-12). U četvrtfinalu ponovo Švicarsku (38-15), da bi u polufinalu izgubili od Latvije (14-26), a u susretu za broncu od Švedske (10-12).

Ogled protiv Švedske bio je izravni okršaj za ulazak u viši rang. Nakon dva turnira obje su ekipe završile sa po 32 boda. Međutim, prema pravilniku odlučuje ukupna razlika poena na oba turnira. Hrvatska vrsta je bila u velikoj prednosti jer su u posljednji okršaj sezone ušli s razlikom +88, u odnosu na +24 Švedske. Šveđani su pobijedili 12-10, ali je Hrvatska završila druga u ukupnom poretku.

"Ponovo smo hrvatski ragbi učinili ponosnim, ponovo smo ispisali povijest," kazao je za HRS Anthony Poša, koji je najprije reprezentaciju u ‘velikom‘ ragbiju izvukao iz godina nadmetanja u Conference diviziji, što je treći rang, i uveo je u Trophy diviziju, a sada je u ragbiju 7 Hrvatsku uveo u europsku elitu.

Hrvatska će iduće sezone na Europskom prvenstvu ragbija 7, što je olimpijska inačica tog sporta, igrati uz Irsku, Francusku, Španjolsku, Veliku Britaniju, Portugal, Gruziju, Njemačku, Italiju, Belgiju, Litvu i Ukrajinu. Rumunjska i Češka ispale su u Trophy diviziju.

Hrvatski ragbijaši prvi put se plasirali u Championship diviziju gdje će igrati s najboljim u Europi

Hrvatska muška reprezentacija u ragbiju 7, olimpijskoj inačici ovog sporta, ostvarila je povijesni uspjeh i prvi put ušla u Championship diviziju Europskog prvenstva.

Hrvatska reprezentacija će se tako iduće sezone nadmetati s najvećim silama poput Irske, Francuske, Velike Britanije, Italije...

Nakon drugog mjesta na turniru u Zagrebu prije tri tjedna, ovaj su vikend na turniru u Budimpešti hrvatski ragbijaši bili četvrti, te su u zbroju bodova zauzeli drugo mjesto u Trophy diviziji i plasman u viši rang.

U skupini su pobijedili Moldaviju (43-0), Luksemburg (24-14) i Švicarsku (14-12). U četvrtfinalu ponovo Švicarsku (38-15), da bi u polufinalu izgubili od Latvije (14-26), a u susretu za broncu od Švedske (10-12).

Ogled protiv Švedske bio je izravni okršaj za ulazak u viši rang. Nakon dva turnira obje su ekipe završile sa po 32 boda. Međutim, prema pravilniku odlučuje ukupna razlika poena na oba turnira. Hrvatska vrsta je bila u velikoj prednosti jer su u posljednji okršaj sezone ušli s razlikom +88, u odnosu na +24 Švedske. Šveđani su pobijedili 12-10, ali je Hrvatska završila druga u ukupnom poretku.

"Ponovo smo hrvatski ragbi učinili ponosnim, ponovo smo ispisali povijest," kazao je za HRS Anthony Poša, koji je najprije reprezentaciju u ‘velikom‘ ragbiju izvukao iz godina nadmetanja u Conference diviziji, što je treći rang, i uveo je u Trophy diviziju, a sada je u ragbiju 7 Hrvatsku uveo u europsku elitu.

Hrvatska će iduće sezone na Europskom prvenstvu ragbija 7, što je olimpijska inačica tog sporta, igrati uz Irsku, Francusku, Španjolsku, Veliku Britaniju, Portugal, Gruziju, Njemačku, Italiju, Belgiju, Litvu i Ukrajinu. Rumunjska i Češka ispale su u Trophy diviziju.
