Iz Adriatica je Teklić na Poljud stigao 2015., kao 16-godišnjak. Prethodno je pod paskom Franka Bogdana nogometno stasavao, prvo u Omladincu, kasnije u Adriaticu.
- Došao je sa šest i pol godina. Stalno je bio uz mene, znam ga u dušu od prvog dana. Odmah se vidjelo da je daleko najtalentiranije dijete generacije. Odskakao je, bio prirodno nadaren, lagan, mekan s loptom. Dosta smo radili individualno - prisjetio se Bogdan o čijim referencama u radu s mladima ne treba puno elaborirati. Dovoljno je spomenuti imena Nikole Vlašića, Marka Livaje...
Nije sve uvijek išlo idealno, ali se Teklić brzo opet vratio na put koji je njegov talent nagoviještavao.
- Nije imao baš najidealniju fazu prelaska na veliki nogomet. To je privikavanje u kojem nije bio više toliko dominantan potrajalo godinu-godinu i pol. Potom je oko 14.-15. godine buknuo. Kasnije je u grupi zajedno s Nejašmićem, Šegom, Batarelom... otišao u Hajduk.
Teško je naravno pobjeći i od pomalo i subjektivnog dojma, ali Bogdanov stručni sud je nedvojben. Za njega nema dileme.
- To je momak koji zna podvalit loptu i između trojice, koji ima izvrstan šut lijevom nogom što smo i vidjeli u Rijeci. Hvala Bogu da je šutnija. Ima i odličan prekid, slobodan udarac. Za moj pojam on je prava "desetka", Hajduk takvu nema, nema takvog igrača. Po meni bi realno bilo da Hajduk to prepozna i stane iza njega jer će od njega puno dobiti na terenu, a na koncu i zaraditi.
Naglasio je kroz što je mladi veznjak prolazio.
- Teklić se mučio. Prije dvije godine Carrillo ga je stavio u momčad, ali imao je nesreću da igra tu utakmicu koja se izgubila, nakon čega je išlo drugačije. Zatim je došao mali pad, dvije povrijedice, pa je išao u B momčad u kojoj mu na početku nije sve išlo idealno, ali na kraju je isplivao. A kada je bio jako dobar na pripremama kod Oreščanina, poslije te polusezone nije igrao za prvu momčad. Imao je dosta tih hendikepa, to ga je sve malo potrošilo. Nikome pritom ništa ne zamjeram.
Ova sezona trebala bi biti Teklićeva.
- Sada mu je 20 godina, malo je sazrio. Nedostaju mu još malo ti momenti da ne ide uvijek u savršen potez, da ne srlja. Jer ne prolazi njegova svaka lopta, ali kada prođe - siječe protivnika. On zna igrati, ne treba to gasiti, ali treneri nekad misle da je mlad i da brza. Malo je čekao, ali nadam se da je nakon ove utakmice napokon dočekao svojih pet minuta da sada bude drugačije tretiran, da mu se da više povjerenje, minuta.
Potom je povukao paralelu.
- Tehničar je, jak na lijevoj nozi. Podsjeća me na Deju Računicu u najboljim danima Hajduka. Pred njim je lijepa karijera, samo da ga mimoiđu ozljede i napokon uhvati kontinuitet koji bi trebao biti normalan – poželio je Bogdan.

Iz Adriatica je Teklić na Poljud stigao 2015., kao 16-godišnjak. Prethodno je pod paskom Franka Bogdana nogometno stasavao, prvo u Omladincu, kasnije u Adriaticu.
- Došao je sa šest i pol godina. Stalno je bio uz mene, znam ga u dušu od prvog dana. Odmah se vidjelo da je daleko najtalentiranije dijete generacije. Odskakao je, bio prirodno nadaren, lagan, mekan s loptom. Dosta smo radili individualno - prisjetio se Bogdan o čijim referencama u radu s mladima ne treba puno elaborirati. Dovoljno je spomenuti imena Nikole Vlašića, Marka Livaje...
Nije sve uvijek išlo idealno, ali se Teklić brzo opet vratio na put koji je njegov talent nagoviještavao.
- Nije imao baš najidealniju fazu prelaska na veliki nogomet. To je privikavanje u kojem nije bio više toliko dominantan potrajalo godinu-godinu i pol. Potom je oko 14.-15. godine buknuo. Kasnije je u grupi zajedno s Nejašmićem, Šegom, Batarelom... otišao u Hajduk.
Teško je naravno pobjeći i od pomalo i subjektivnog dojma, ali Bogdanov stručni sud je nedvojben. Za njega nema dileme.
- To je momak koji zna podvalit loptu i između trojice, koji ima izvrstan šut lijevom nogom što smo i vidjeli u Rijeci. Hvala Bogu da je šutnija. Ima i odličan prekid, slobodan udarac. Za moj pojam on je prava "desetka", Hajduk takvu nema, nema takvog igrača. Po meni bi realno bilo da Hajduk to prepozna i stane iza njega jer će od njega puno dobiti na terenu, a na koncu i zaraditi.
Naglasio je kroz što je mladi veznjak prolazio.
- Teklić se mučio. Prije dvije godine Carrillo ga je stavio u momčad, ali imao je nesreću da igra tu utakmicu koja se izgubila, nakon čega je išlo drugačije. Zatim je došao mali pad, dvije povrijedice, pa je išao u B momčad u kojoj mu na početku nije sve išlo idealno, ali na kraju je isplivao. A kada je bio jako dobar na pripremama kod Oreščanina, poslije te polusezone nije igrao za prvu momčad. Imao je dosta tih hendikepa, to ga je sve malo potrošilo. Nikome pritom ništa ne zamjeram.
Ova sezona trebala bi biti Teklićeva.
- Sada mu je 20 godina, malo je sazrio. Nedostaju mu još malo ti momenti da ne ide uvijek u savršen potez, da ne srlja. Jer ne prolazi njegova svaka lopta, ali kada prođe - siječe protivnika. On zna igrati, ne treba to gasiti, ali treneri nekad misle da je mlad i da brza. Malo je čekao, ali nadam se da je nakon ove utakmice napokon dočekao svojih pet minuta da sada bude drugačije tretiran, da mu se da više povjerenje, minuta.
Potom je povukao paralelu.
- Tehničar je, jak na lijevoj nozi. Podsjeća me na Deju Računicu u najboljim danima Hajduka. Pred njim je lijepa karijera, samo da ga mimoiđu ozljede i napokon uhvati kontinuitet koji bi trebao biti normalan – poželio je Bogdan.
