Čak tri učenika splitskog MIOC-a svrstala su se među 20 najboljih poznavatelja engleskog jezika u Europi, na online natjecanju "Best in English", najvećem takve vrste u svijetu, pristupivši mu, kako u šali kažu – onako usput.

Ispred ove gimnazije, proslavljene priznanjima koja su njezini učenici tijekom godina zaslužili, sastali smo s mladim talentima za, među ostalim, i engleski jezik – Ivanom Perićem, Lovrom Pazinovićem i Danom Ercegom – ne bismo li doznali tajnu njihova uspjeha.

– Znao sam da sam dobro napisao jer je test bio dosta zanimljiv, iako ne i težak, ali nisam se nadao takvom rezultatu – govori nam Ivan Perić, učenik trećeg razreda, koji se plasirao na 14. mjesto, ističući kako se za taj ispit znanja "i nije posebno pripremao", iako jezik uči od vrtićke dobi.

A bez posebne su pripreme, iako spremni, natjecanju, kažu, pristupili i Dan i Lovre, koji su "sjeli" na 18. i 19. mjesto među 17.223 natjecatelja u dobi od 14 do 19 godina, koliko ih je ove godine pristupilo ovom odmjeravanju jezičnih snaga, predstavljajući ukupno 595 škola iz 32 države.

Sva trojica su, kako doznajemo, u samom vrhu županijskih natjecanja, i to ne samo iz engleskog jezika, koji, otkrivaju nam, i nije u fokusu njihova interesa.

– Primarno sam zainteresiran za matematiku i fiziku. Volio bih nastaviti razvijati znanja u akademskom smjeru, jednog dana biti profesor. A engleski će mi, vjerujem, dobro doći jer se nadam da ću studirati u inozemstvu – otkriva nam Dan, na što Lovre reagira izražavajući iste namjere.

– Engleski uvijek dobro dođe, tako da je ovo priznanje dobrodošlo, pogotovo što ga nije ni bilo teško osvojiti. Na državnom su natjecanju pitanja, recimo, bila teža – objašnjava pa u šali dodaje kako je, pored silnih priznanja, ovo u kući prošlo gotovo nezapaženo.

Sve su to, slažu se sva trojica, samo papiri koji se zagube negdje po ormarima, ne odluče li ih roditelji sačuvati.

– Ne radim ja to radi nagrade, već mi je zabavno vidjeti gdje stojim sa svojim znanjem i gdje sam u odnosu na vršnjake – zaključuje Ivan Perić.

A da unatoč izostanku formalne pripreme nije riječ o "slučajnim" rezultatima, kazala nam je Nelica Kljaković Gašpić, nastavnica engleskog jezika, ističući kako iza trojice učenika stoji predan rad i trud te zapaženi rezultati na prijašnjim natjecanjima.

– Ponosimo se ovakvim učenicima, oni su nam uvijek motiv i oko njih se jako trudimo – komentirala je i Deana Bokšić, ravnateljica Treće gimnazije, pohvalivši trojku.

Čak tri učenika splitskog MIOC-a svrstala su se među 20 najboljih poznavatelja engleskog jezika u Europi, na online natjecanju "Best in English", najvećem takve vrste u svijetu, pristupivši mu, kako u šali kažu – onako usput.

Ispred ove gimnazije, proslavljene priznanjima koja su njezini učenici tijekom godina zaslužili, sastali smo s mladim talentima za, među ostalim, i engleski jezik – Ivanom Perićem, Lovrom Pazinovićem i Danom Ercegom – ne bismo li doznali tajnu njihova uspjeha.

– Znao sam da sam dobro napisao jer je test bio dosta zanimljiv, iako ne i težak, ali nisam se nadao takvom rezultatu – govori nam Ivan Perić, učenik trećeg razreda, koji se plasirao na 14. mjesto, ističući kako se za taj ispit znanja "i nije posebno pripremao", iako jezik uči od vrtićke dobi.

A bez posebne su pripreme, iako spremni, natjecanju, kažu, pristupili i Dan i Lovre, koji su "sjeli" na 18. i 19. mjesto među 17.223 natjecatelja u dobi od 14 do 19 godina, koliko ih je ove godine pristupilo ovom odmjeravanju jezičnih snaga, predstavljajući ukupno 595 škola iz 32 države.

Sva trojica su, kako doznajemo, u samom vrhu županijskih natjecanja, i to ne samo iz engleskog jezika, koji, otkrivaju nam, i nije u fokusu njihova interesa.

– Primarno sam zainteresiran za matematiku i fiziku. Volio bih nastaviti razvijati znanja u akademskom smjeru, jednog dana biti profesor. A engleski će mi, vjerujem, dobro doći jer se nadam da ću studirati u inozemstvu – otkriva nam Dan, na što Lovre reagira izražavajući iste namjere.

– Engleski uvijek dobro dođe, tako da je ovo priznanje dobrodošlo, pogotovo što ga nije ni bilo teško osvojiti. Na državnom su natjecanju pitanja, recimo, bila teža – objašnjava pa u šali dodaje kako je, pored silnih priznanja, ovo u kući prošlo gotovo nezapaženo.

Sve su to, slažu se sva trojica, samo papiri koji se zagube negdje po ormarima, ne odluče li ih roditelji sačuvati.

– Ne radim ja to radi nagrade, već mi je zabavno vidjeti gdje stojim sa svojim znanjem i gdje sam u odnosu na vršnjake – zaključuje Ivan Perić.

A da unatoč izostanku formalne pripreme nije riječ o "slučajnim" rezultatima, kazala nam je Nelica Kljaković Gašpić, nastavnica engleskog jezika, ističući kako iza trojice učenika stoji predan rad i trud te zapaženi rezultati na prijašnjim natjecanjima.

– Ponosimo se ovakvim učenicima, oni su nam uvijek motiv i oko njih se jako trudimo – komentirala je i Deana Bokšić, ravnateljica Treće gimnazije, pohvalivši trojku.
