Danas se diljem Hrvatske slavi nacionalni praznik - Dan antifašističke borbe. Njime se obilježava spomen osnutka Prvog sisačkog partizanskog odreda 1941. godine, koji je ujedno je i prva takva postrojba ustrojena na području tadašnje okupirane Hrvatske i Jugoslavije. Isti dan je, u Operaciji Barbarossa, Adolf Hitler naredio napad na SSSR, što je zapečatilo početak Drugog svjetskog rata; najkrvavijeg sukoba u povijesti civilizacije.
Običajno, na ovaj datum, a u znak pijeteta prema 50-ak milijuna mrtvih na pobjedničkoj strani (i 10-ak na gubitničkoj) i kao podrška nastojanjima da se ovakvo zlo više nikad ne dogodi, organiziraju se svečanosti, memorijali i manifestacije antifašističkog karaktera. Mediji vrte prigodni dokumentarni materijal, većina ljudi provodi slobodan dan s obitelji. Također, naseljenim područjima se vijore nacionalne zastave, namijenjene predstavljanju suvereniteta i slobode.
Tako je i danas. Dobro, barem na većini uobičajenih mjesta.

Naime, javio nam se čitatelj koji je iznenađen što se na Biskupovoj palači - zgradi Splitsko-makarske nadbiskupije - danas ne njišu nikakva nacionalna ni praznička obilježja. Štoviše, dotični je stanar zgrade prekoputa ulaza u palaču te svjedoči da je za njega ovakva situacija iznimno čudna. Jer, kako tvrdi, za svaki državni blagdan fasadu najljepše zgrade na Pazaru miluju kako hrvatska, tako i vatikanska zastava.
Ipak, iz nekog razloga, na Dan antifašističke borbe je taj oblik slavlja izostao.

Kako bismo otkrili taj ili te razloge, telefonski smo kontaktirali glasnogovornicu nadbiskupije Silvanu Burilović. Nakon što nam je kazala da je zatečena ovom situacijom, obećala nam se uskoro povratno javiti. U trenutku pisanja ovo teksta je prošlo tri sata od tog poziva.
Svemu unatoč, ostaje za nadati se kako će Splitsko-makarska nadbiskupija ipak sljedeći državni praznik primjereno obilježiti, kao i svaki dosad. Konačno, 05. kolovoza se, praktički, u jednom danu slave tri značajna nacionalna elementa; pobjeda, domovinska zahvalnost i hrvatski branitelji.
A, u ime tog "svetog trojstva", trobojnica će - čvrsto vjerujemo - ipak biti na za to uvijek spremnoj poziciji.

Danas se diljem Hrvatske slavi nacionalni praznik - Dan antifašističke borbe. Njime se obilježava spomen osnutka Prvog sisačkog partizanskog odreda 1941. godine, koji je ujedno je i prva takva postrojba ustrojena na području tadašnje okupirane Hrvatske i Jugoslavije. Isti dan je, u Operaciji Barbarossa, Adolf Hitler naredio napad na SSSR, što je zapečatilo početak Drugog svjetskog rata; najkrvavijeg sukoba u povijesti civilizacije.
Običajno, na ovaj datum, a u znak pijeteta prema 50-ak milijuna mrtvih na pobjedničkoj strani (i 10-ak na gubitničkoj) i kao podrška nastojanjima da se ovakvo zlo više nikad ne dogodi, organiziraju se svečanosti, memorijali i manifestacije antifašističkog karaktera. Mediji vrte prigodni dokumentarni materijal, većina ljudi provodi slobodan dan s obitelji. Također, naseljenim područjima se vijore nacionalne zastave, namijenjene predstavljanju suvereniteta i slobode.
Tako je i danas. Dobro, barem na većini uobičajenih mjesta.

Naime, javio nam se čitatelj koji je iznenađen što se na Biskupovoj palači - zgradi Splitsko-makarske nadbiskupije - danas ne njišu nikakva nacionalna ni praznička obilježja. Štoviše, dotični je stanar zgrade prekoputa ulaza u palaču te svjedoči da je za njega ovakva situacija iznimno čudna. Jer, kako tvrdi, za svaki državni blagdan fasadu najljepše zgrade na Pazaru miluju kako hrvatska, tako i vatikanska zastava.
Ipak, iz nekog razloga, na Dan antifašističke borbe je taj oblik slavlja izostao.

Kako bismo otkrili taj ili te razloge, telefonski smo kontaktirali glasnogovornicu nadbiskupije Silvanu Burilović. Nakon što nam je kazala da je zatečena ovom situacijom, obećala nam se uskoro povratno javiti. U trenutku pisanja ovo teksta je prošlo tri sata od tog poziva.
Svemu unatoč, ostaje za nadati se kako će Splitsko-makarska nadbiskupija ipak sljedeći državni praznik primjereno obilježiti, kao i svaki dosad. Konačno, 05. kolovoza se, praktički, u jednom danu slave tri značajna nacionalna elementa; pobjeda, domovinska zahvalnost i hrvatski branitelji.
A, u ime tog "svetog trojstva", trobojnica će - čvrsto vjerujemo - ipak biti na za to uvijek spremnoj poziciji.
