Jučer je u gradskoj knjižnici Marko Marulić održana prezentacija brošure Prehrana osoba oboljelih od malignih bolesti autorica mag.nutr. Dore Bučan Nenadić i mag.nutr. Marije Selak sa Odsjeka za dijetetiku u KBC-u Split, a u izdavaštvu Udruge leukemije i limfomi - Split. Riječ je o besplatnoj brošuri koja treba pomoći oboljelima i njihovim obiteljima da se lakše nose s terapijskim procesom, ali i životu nakon borbe s ovim opakim bolestima.

Bučan Nenadić je navela kako maligne bolesti danas postaju kronične te da je sve više oboljelih, a čega je uzrok ubrzan život, izmijenjena prehrana, zagađen zrak i stres. Navela je da dijagnoza kroničnih bolesti zahtijeva promjenu cjelokupnog načina života, pri čemu je plan prehrane jedan od temelja te trenzicije. "Danas se ljudi, kada se ne osijećaju dobro, prvo obrate doktoru Googleu i redovito nailaze na znanstveno neutemeljene odgovore i dezinformacije. Sve to može dovesti do proteinsko-energijske pothranjenosti, koja onda dodatno otežava liječenje", upozorava mlada nutricionistica.

Nošenje s ovim oboljenjima bi trebao uključivati multidisciplinarni pristup u koji su uključeni fizioterapeuti, socijalni radnici, onkolozi, medicinske sestre itd. Ipak, poseban naglasak se stavlja na psihologe, pošto je emotivna karta ta koja značajno utječe na apetit. "Plan prehrane je najlakše osmisliti, ali teško provesti zbog anksioznosti i nelagode koje se akumuliraju u procesu. One se mogu riješavati raznim tehnikama, od vježbanja preko druženja do meditacije", navodi Bučan Nenadić, pritom nabrajajući savjete kako rješiti probleme u prehrani za vrijeme liječenja koji uključuju gubitak apetita, mučninu, promjenu doživljaja ukusa i mirisa, ali i dobivanje na težini.

Njena kolegica Selak je nešto više pričala o mediteranskoj prehrani, za koju su eminentna istraživanja pokazala da ima općenito najviše benefita za ljudsko zdravlje. Nažalost, većina Mediteranaca danas ne jede po njenim postulatima, koji su umjerenost i odmak od isključivosti. Ona uključuje svakodnevnu konzumaciju voća i povrća, cjelovitih žitarica i mahunarki te ograničenu konzumaciju crvenog mesa i slatkiša. Osim toga, pratnja takvom stilu života bi trebale biti redovite tjelesne aktivnosti, kvalitetan odmor i upotreba sezonskih namirnica, ali i uživanje u obrocima u smislu društva, atmosfere i okruženja.

Sve ovo je popraćeno konkretnim primjerima, a čitatelj se može i testirati koliko njegov stil prehrane zapravo odgovara onom mediteranskom. Selak je ponudila i savjete za sanaciju oslabljenog imunološkog sustava, kao i adekvatnog odabira i skladištenja namirnica te same pripreme jela. Istaknula je i kako posebnu pažnju treba posvetiti brizi o bližnjem koji ima malignu bolest, pri čemu treba izbjegavati stvarati dodatni stres problematiziranjem odabira jela, a djeci ne uskraćivati slatkiše. Konačno, navela je da je dnevnik prehrane iznimno važan jer sadrži jako puno informacija koje pomaže nutricionistima pri tumačenju nastalih simptoma.

Riječ je o besplatnoj brošuri koja treba pomoći oboljelima i njihovim obiteljima da se lakše nose s terapijskim procesom, ali i životu nakon borbe s ovim opakim bolestima.

Bučan Nenadić je navela kako maligne bolesti danas postaju kronične te da je sve više oboljelih, a čega je uzrok ubrzan život, izmijenjena prehrana, zagađen zrak i stres. Navela je da dijagnoza kroničnih bolesti zahtijeva promjenu cjelokupnog načina života, pri čemu je plan prehrane jedan od temelja te trenzicije. "Danas se ljudi, kada se ne osijećaju dobro, prvo obrate doktoru Googleu i redovito nailaze na znanstveno neutemeljene odgovore i dezinformacije. Sve to može dovesti do proteinsko-energijske pothranjenosti, koja onda dodatno otežava liječenje", upozorava mlada nutricionistica.

Nošenje s ovim oboljenjima bi trebao uključivati multidisciplinarni pristup u koji su uključeni fizioterapeuti, socijalni radnici, onkolozi, medicinske sestre itd. Ipak, poseban naglasak se stavlja na psihologe, pošto je emotivna karta ta koja značajno utječe na apetit. "Plan prehrane je najlakše osmisliti, ali teško provesti zbog anksioznosti i nelagode koje se akumuliraju u procesu. One se mogu riješavati raznim tehnikama, od vježbanja preko druženja do meditacije", navodi Bučan Nenadić, pritom nabrajajući savjete kako rješiti probleme u prehrani za vrijeme liječenja koji uključuju gubitak apetita, mučninu, promjenu doživljaja ukusa i mirisa, ali i dobivanje na težini.

Njena kolegica Selak je nešto više pričala o mediteranskoj prehrani, za koju su eminentna istraživanja pokazala da ima općenito najviše benefita za ljudsko zdravlje. Nažalost, većina Mediteranaca danas ne jede po njenim postulatima, koji su umjerenost i odmak od isključivosti. Ona uključuje svakodnevnu konzumaciju voća i povrća, cjelovitih žitarica i mahunarki te ograničenu konzumaciju crvenog mesa i slatkiša. Osim toga, pratnja takvom stilu života bi trebale biti redovite tjelesne aktivnosti, kvalitetan odmor i upotreba sezonskih namirnica, ali i uživanje u obrocima u smislu društva, atmosfere i okruženja.

Sve ovo je popraćeno konkretnim primjerima, a čitatelj se može i testirati koliko njegov stil prehrane zapravo odgovara onom mediteranskom. Selak je ponudila i savjete za sanaciju oslabljenog imunološkog sustava, kao i adekvatnog odabira i skladištenja namirnica te same pripreme jela. Istaknula je i kako posebnu pažnju treba posvetiti brizi o bližnjem koji ima malignu bolest, pri čemu treba izbjegavati stvarati dodatni stres problematiziranjem odabira jela, a djeci ne uskraćivati slatkiše. Konačno, navela je da je dnevnik prehrane iznimno važan jer sadrži jako puno informacija koje pomaže nutricionistima pri tumačenju nastalih simptoma.

Jučer je u gradskoj knjižnici Marko Marulić održana prezentacija brošure Prehrana osoba oboljelih od malignih bolesti autorica mag.nutr. Dore Bučan Nenadić i mag.nutr.
