Odnedavno su se, suočeni opasnosti od zagađenog zraka stanovnici istočnih i susjednih splitskih kotareva, prvenstveno Brda, Neslanovca i Ravnih njiva u velikom broju okupili u Facebook grupi Za čista Brda, za čisti Split.
Uglavnom tu dijele informacije o kakvoći zraka, organiziraju prosvjede, objavljuju fotografije prašine u svojim domovima od koje se više ne da živjeti, ali tu i tamo objave i nešto vezano za kvart, a što se direktno baš i ne tiče te teške problematike.
Nekidan je tako jedna od njih objavila staru crno-bijelu fotografiju snimljenu iz aviona 1968., a na njoj se vide Brda, Ravne Njive, Kopilica, Stinice, Sjeverna luka i Vranjic, dakle sada ekološki najugroženije područje Splita. Jedan komentar je zapravo cijeli taj prizor sveo na zgodan komentar.

I zaista, na staroj fotografiji iz fundusa Muzeja grada Splita, objavljenoj i u knjizi "Povijest pisana svjetlom – Split od Prisce do Adriane”, autora Gorana Borčića, vidi se kako je današnji zgradama napučeni kvart prije pedesetak godina bio polje. A sasvim desno na fotografiji vidi se Osnovna škola "Veljko Neškovčin", danas OŠ "Brda, na Brdima, građena od 1964. do 1966., kako je to zapisao Ante Barišić iz Grupe Split kroz povijest
Kako pak stoji u Borčićevoj knjizi, Brda se prvi put spominju u 12. stoljeću, a Ravne njive 1657. godine. Bila je to i glavna poljoprivredna površina nekadašnjeg antičkog grada Salone, tzv. ager salonitanus, na kojemu su do danas ostali tragovi prvobitne centurijacije. Od 1957. godine počinje stambena izgradnja i masovnije naseljavanje.
Danas smo tu gdje jesmo.

U kultnoj splitskoj kavani jedan je svirao dok se nije onesvijestio, drugi je zubima držao stol s dvanaest stolica, treći razbijao kamenje o glavu... Pa nije pjesnik bez razloga napisao da ovaj grad nije slučajno ovdje i slučajno ovakav!

Odnedavno su se, suočeni opasnosti od zagađenog zraka stanovnici istočnih i susjednih splitskih kotareva, prvenstveno Brda, Neslanovca i Ravnih njiva u velikom broju okupili u Facebook grupi Za čista Brda, za čisti Split.
Uglavnom tu dijele informacije o kakvoći zraka, organiziraju prosvjede, objavljuju fotografije prašine u svojim domovima od koje se više ne da živjeti, ali tu i tamo objave i nešto vezano za kvart, a što se direktno baš i ne tiče te teške problematike.
Nekidan je tako jedna od njih objavila staru crno-bijelu fotografiju snimljenu iz aviona 1968., a na njoj se vide Brda, Ravne Njive, Kopilica, Stinice, Sjeverna luka i Vranjic, dakle sada ekološki najugroženije područje Splita. Jedan komentar je zapravo cijeli taj prizor sveo na zgodan komentar.

I zaista, na staroj fotografiji iz fundusa Muzeja grada Splita, objavljenoj i u knjizi "Povijest pisana svjetlom – Split od Prisce do Adriane”, autora Gorana Borčića, vidi se kako je današnji zgradama napučeni kvart prije pedesetak godina bio polje. A sasvim desno na fotografiji vidi se Osnovna škola "Veljko Neškovčin", danas OŠ "Brda, na Brdima, građena od 1964. do 1966., kako je to zapisao Ante Barišić iz Grupe Split kroz povijest
Kako pak stoji u Borčićevoj knjizi, Brda se prvi put spominju u 12. stoljeću, a Ravne njive 1657. godine. Bila je to i glavna poljoprivredna površina nekadašnjeg antičkog grada Salone, tzv. ager salonitanus, na kojemu su do danas ostali tragovi prvobitne centurijacije. Od 1957. godine počinje stambena izgradnja i masovnije naseljavanje.
Danas smo tu gdje jesmo.

U kultnoj splitskoj kavani jedan je svirao dok se nije onesvijestio, drugi je zubima držao stol s dvanaest stolica, treći razbijao kamenje o glavu... Pa nije pjesnik bez razloga napisao da ovaj grad nije slučajno ovdje i slučajno ovakav!
