Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo (HND) u srijedu 31. siječnja organizira prosvjed u 11 sati na Markovu trgu u Zagrebu i u Splitu ispred HNK. Novinari će izaći na ulice zbog uvođenja kaznenog djela "Neovlašteno otkrivanje sadržaja izvidne ili dokazne radnje" u Kazneni zakon.
Njime je predviđeno i do tri godine zatvora za zviždače koji sadržaj nejavnog sudskog postupka podijele s javnosti. Iz izmjena i dopuna zakona su izdvojeni novinari, ali im taj isti zakon dozvoljava provjeru privatnih stvari novinara poput mobitela, računala i e-mailova ne bi li se otkrio izvor informacija, kažu iz HND-a.
- Novinari i građani će biti uskraćeni za informacije od javnog interesa kao što su korupcija ili zloupotreba položaja što su ključna pitanja za predstojeće izbore, kažu. Zakon ukida javnost kao kontrolni mehanizam rada dok je država istovremeno zastrašila zviždače s tri godine zatvora, što nije šala.

U priopćenju predstavnici novinara podsjećaju na primjere iz prošlosti kojima je došlo do otkrića istine zahvaljujući javnoj objavi informacija.
- Sjetimo se prometne nesreće vukovarsko-srijemskog župana Damira Dekanića prije par godina u kojoj je pijan razbio službeni automobil pa lažno prikazao da ga je vozio njegov rođak. Da se tada nisu smjele objavljivati informacije iz istrage, pitanje je bi li bio uhićen s trojicom policajaca pod sumnjom da su mu pomogli u lažiranju nesreće.

Da se nije smjelo ništa otkriti, javnost možda još ne bi doznala da je Mihaelu Berak ustrijelio policajac te da nije riječ o nesretnom slučaju, kao što tvrdi policija, nego o namjernom ubojstvu iz službenog pištolja, kao što smatra DORH.
Da se ništa nije smjelo doznati iz istrage, javnost ne bi saznala neke od detalja djelovanja grupe Borg.
Ne bi se znao ni razlog propasti vještačenja u predmetu "Agrokor" za koji su građani platili 1.300.000 eura - kažu predstavnici novinara koji su priopćenjem otvorili pitanje kako je do prijedloga zakona uopće došlo.
- Nakon što su se početkom 2023. godine u istrazi protiv bivše ministrice Gabrijele Žalac u jednoj prepisci pojavili inicijali AP, a mediji to objavili, javnost je posumnjala da je riječ o inicijalima predsjednika Vlade.
Nakon toga je premijer Andrej Plenković izjavio kako će promijeniti Zakon o kaznenom postupku i Kazneni zakon. Kasnije izmjene su u javnosti nazvane "Lex AP".
Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo nazvalo ga je "zakonom opasnih namjera" jer smatra da je izravno usmjeren na zaštitu zloupotreba u politici, a protiv javnog interesa i slobode medija - zaključuju iz HND-a.

Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo (HND) u srijedu 31. siječnja organizira prosvjed u 11 sati na Markovu trgu u Zagrebu i u Splitu ispred HNK. Novinari će izaći na ulice zbog uvođenja kaznenog djela "Neovlašteno otkrivanje sadržaja izvidne ili dokazne radnje" u Kazneni zakon.
Njime je predviđeno i do tri godine zatvora za zviždače koji sadržaj nejavnog sudskog postupka podijele s javnosti. Iz izmjena i dopuna zakona su izdvojeni novinari, ali im taj isti zakon dozvoljava provjeru privatnih stvari novinara poput mobitela, računala i e-mailova ne bi li se otkrio izvor informacija, kažu iz HND-a.
- Novinari i građani će biti uskraćeni za informacije od javnog interesa kao što su korupcija ili zloupotreba položaja što su ključna pitanja za predstojeće izbore, kažu. Zakon ukida javnost kao kontrolni mehanizam rada dok je država istovremeno zastrašila zviždače s tri godine zatvora, što nije šala.

U priopćenju predstavnici novinara podsjećaju na primjere iz prošlosti kojima je došlo do otkrića istine zahvaljujući javnoj objavi informacija.
- Sjetimo se prometne nesreće vukovarsko-srijemskog župana Damira Dekanića prije par godina u kojoj je pijan razbio službeni automobil pa lažno prikazao da ga je vozio njegov rođak. Da se tada nisu smjele objavljivati informacije iz istrage, pitanje je bi li bio uhićen s trojicom policajaca pod sumnjom da su mu pomogli u lažiranju nesreće.

Da se nije smjelo ništa otkriti, javnost možda još ne bi doznala da je Mihaelu Berak ustrijelio policajac te da nije riječ o nesretnom slučaju, kao što tvrdi policija, nego o namjernom ubojstvu iz službenog pištolja, kao što smatra DORH.
Da se ništa nije smjelo doznati iz istrage, javnost ne bi saznala neke od detalja djelovanja grupe Borg.
Ne bi se znao ni razlog propasti vještačenja u predmetu "Agrokor" za koji su građani platili 1.300.000 eura - kažu predstavnici novinara koji su priopćenjem otvorili pitanje kako je do prijedloga zakona uopće došlo.
- Nakon što su se početkom 2023. godine u istrazi protiv bivše ministrice Gabrijele Žalac u jednoj prepisci pojavili inicijali AP, a mediji to objavili, javnost je posumnjala da je riječ o inicijalima predsjednika Vlade.
Nakon toga je premijer Andrej Plenković izjavio kako će promijeniti Zakon o kaznenom postupku i Kazneni zakon. Kasnije izmjene su u javnosti nazvane "Lex AP".
Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo nazvalo ga je "zakonom opasnih namjera" jer smatra da je izravno usmjeren na zaštitu zloupotreba u politici, a protiv javnog interesa i slobode medija - zaključuju iz HND-a.
