dr. Zenon Pogorelić, zamjenik ravnatelja KBC-a Split obratio se javnosti dan nakon smrti 69-godišnjeg državljanina Kanade koji je 30. travnja primljen u bolnicu te je u srijedu navečer prebačen s Plućnog odjela na Jedinicu Intenzivne Skrbi gdje je preminuo.
- Napravili smo preliminarni pregled i nismo pronašli nikakve značajnije pogreške. Po nalogu ravnatelja pokrenut je unutarnji nadzor koji se počeo provoditi. Kako bismo doznali točan uzrok potrebno je napraviti obdukciju. Rezultati obdukcije bi trebali biti gotovi za dva do tri dana - rekao je dr. Pogorelić.

Na pitanje je li ga u tih 13 dana pregledao hematolog zamjenik Pogorelić je odgovorio potvrdno:
- Pacijent je prije dva mjeseca s istim simptomima zaprimljen u bolnicu u Londonu te je otpušten bez dijagnoze. Kad je stigao u Hrvatsku, u dva navrata je bio hospitaliziran.
Učinjena je detaljna dijagnostička obrada te su konzultirani specijalisti hematolog, gastroenterolog, neurolog i pulmolog. Na dežurnog hematologa je čekao 20 minuta, no smatram kako nije riječ o razlogu za uzbunu. Nije pronađen nikakav uzrok, osim povišenih upalnih parametara koji su ukazivali na neko infektivno stanje - rekao je zamjenik Pogorelić.

Novinari su ga potom pitali je li uzrok smrti gljivično oboljenje grla ili sepsa za grlo što je insinuirala žena preminulog.
- Do obdukcije ne bih iznosio ništa. Za sepsu mogu samo reći kako su to indicije, nemamo dokaza. Za gljivično oboljenje nema dokaza i jako je mala šansa za tako nešto - odgovorio je na novinarsko pitanje doktor Pogorelić
Kako je moguće da se 10 dana nije moglo doći do druge dijagnoze osim "anemije" pitali smo KBC Split.
- Postavljeno je više dijagnoza i o tome će više reći unutarnji nadzor - kratak je bio zamjenik ravnatelja.
Odgovorio je na pitanje novinara oko navodnog pada kanadskog državljanina za vrijeme boravka u bolnici i odnosa osoblja prema njemu.
- Gospodin je pao dok je bio u wc-u, no zadobio je manji prijelom noge koji je zahtjevao imobilizaciju. Koliko ja znam, imao je dobar odnos s djelatnicima Plućnog odjela, za ostalo ne znam - odgovorio je.

- U nekim medijima se pojavila informacija koju moramo demantirati, da je pacijent mogao biti otpušten iz KBC-a Split kako bi otputovao natrag u Kanadu na liječenje, a da djelatnici naše bolnice to nisu omogućili jer je bio vikend.
Naime, istina je da se s njegovim osiguranjem razgovaralo u svezi toga, no pacijent nije bio u stanju putovati bez medicinske pratnje koju treba osigurati njegovo osiguranje.
Za vrijeme boravka u našoj bolnici nije došlo do ispunjenja tog posljednjeg uvjeta koji omogućava siguran prijevoz pacijenta - navedeno je u priopćenju splitske bolnice.
Povjerensto za unutarnji nadzor koje je službeno povjerenstvo bolnice dužno je nepristrano donijeti mišljenje i proslijediti ga dalje Ministarstvu ako ministarstvo to bude zahtjevalo.
Neslužbeno doznajemo ako se utvrdi da je došlo do nekakvih nepravilnosti će se obdukcija umjesto u ponedjeljak obaviti preko vikenda.

dr. Zenon Pogorelić, zamjenik ravnatelja KBC-a Split obratio se javnosti dan nakon smrti 69-godišnjeg državljanina Kanade koji je 30. travnja primljen u bolnicu te je u srijedu navečer prebačen s Plućnog odjela na Jedinicu Intenzivne Skrbi gdje je preminuo.
- Napravili smo preliminarni pregled i nismo pronašli nikakve značajnije pogreške. Po nalogu ravnatelja pokrenut je unutarnji nadzor koji se počeo provoditi. Kako bismo doznali točan uzrok potrebno je napraviti obdukciju. Rezultati obdukcije bi trebali biti gotovi za dva do tri dana - rekao je dr. Pogorelić.

Na pitanje je li ga u tih 13 dana pregledao hematolog zamjenik Pogorelić je odgovorio potvrdno:
- Pacijent je prije dva mjeseca s istim simptomima zaprimljen u bolnicu u Londonu te je otpušten bez dijagnoze. Kad je stigao u Hrvatsku, u dva navrata je bio hospitaliziran.
Učinjena je detaljna dijagnostička obrada te su konzultirani specijalisti hematolog, gastroenterolog, neurolog i pulmolog. Na dežurnog hematologa je čekao 20 minuta, no smatram kako nije riječ o razlogu za uzbunu. Nije pronađen nikakav uzrok, osim povišenih upalnih parametara koji su ukazivali na neko infektivno stanje - rekao je zamjenik Pogorelić.

Novinari su ga potom pitali je li uzrok smrti gljivično oboljenje grla ili sepsa za grlo što je insinuirala žena preminulog.
- Do obdukcije ne bih iznosio ništa. Za sepsu mogu samo reći kako su to indicije, nemamo dokaza. Za gljivično oboljenje nema dokaza i jako je mala šansa za tako nešto - odgovorio je na novinarsko pitanje doktor Pogorelić
Kako je moguće da se 10 dana nije moglo doći do druge dijagnoze osim "anemije" pitali smo KBC Split.
- Postavljeno je više dijagnoza i o tome će više reći unutarnji nadzor - kratak je bio zamjenik ravnatelja.
Odgovorio je na pitanje novinara oko navodnog pada kanadskog državljanina za vrijeme boravka u bolnici i odnosa osoblja prema njemu.
- Gospodin je pao dok je bio u wc-u, no zadobio je manji prijelom noge koji je zahtjevao imobilizaciju. Koliko ja znam, imao je dobar odnos s djelatnicima Plućnog odjela, za ostalo ne znam - odgovorio je.

- U nekim medijima se pojavila informacija koju moramo demantirati, da je pacijent mogao biti otpušten iz KBC-a Split kako bi otputovao natrag u Kanadu na liječenje, a da djelatnici naše bolnice to nisu omogućili jer je bio vikend.
Naime, istina je da se s njegovim osiguranjem razgovaralo u svezi toga, no pacijent nije bio u stanju putovati bez medicinske pratnje koju treba osigurati njegovo osiguranje.
Za vrijeme boravka u našoj bolnici nije došlo do ispunjenja tog posljednjeg uvjeta koji omogućava siguran prijevoz pacijenta - navedeno je u priopćenju splitske bolnice.
Povjerensto za unutarnji nadzor koje je službeno povjerenstvo bolnice dužno je nepristrano donijeti mišljenje i proslijediti ga dalje Ministarstvu ako ministarstvo to bude zahtjevalo.
Neslužbeno doznajemo ako se utvrdi da je došlo do nekakvih nepravilnosti će se obdukcija umjesto u ponedjeljak obaviti preko vikenda.
