Na pitanje tko su im uzori, a kad je riječ o funkciji gradonačelnika Splita, politički suparnici Vice Mihanović i Ivica Puljak dali su logične odgovore. Mihanović je tipovao imenjaka Vicka Mihaljevića. Ta, sjetite se kako mu se u Velom Mistu obraćala žestoka baba Marta: "...a ti, Vice mali, zapametit ćeš ti mene".

Pravaš Vicko Mihaljević ili kako su to stari Splićani izgovarali - Mi'aljević, jer čakavcima i ikavcima "h" teško prelazi preko jezika, šefovao je Splitom od 1907. do 1911., godine u kojoj je osnovan Ajduk. Bio je jedan od prvaka hrvatskog narodnog preporoda. Budio je usnulu svijest Splićana o pripadanju hrvatskom korpusu jer se u to doba u nas, s velikim zakašnjenjem u odnosu na Europu, još formiraju nacije.

Odvjetnik Mihaljević, kojeg je u kultnoj seriji "Velo misto" sjajno utjelovio zagrebački glumac Boris Buzančić, bavio se književnošću i brinuo o splitskim oriđinalima. Ljudi s margine su ga zato obožavali. Pod pseudonimom Neurastenicus pisao je zafrkanske pjesmice, ali i one ozbiljne, patriotske, u kojima je slavio dom i domovinu. Godine 2005. godine reizdana je njegova zbirka "Pregršt sušnja", uz pogovore jezikoslovca Radovana Vidovića i Tonka Maroevića. Mihaljević je umro u svojoj pedesetoj godini; 1911.

Ako su PR stručnjaci uoči kampanje prišapnuli Mihanoviću da bi mu bilo dobro koji put spomenuti nacionalno osviještenog dotura Vicu, ni Ivica Puljak osobno, ili njegovi savjetnici, nisu pogriješili kad su Jakšu Miličića, najznamenitijeg splitskog gradonačelnika novog doba, istaknuli kao nekoga čiju utabanu stazu treba slijediti.

Vitalnog, devededesetpetogodišnjeg prof. dr. Jakšu Miličića, povijest će upamtiti kao jednog od najuspješnijih splitskih gradonačelnika. Kao predsjednik Skupštine općine Split, koja je bila daleko veća od područja za koje su odgovorni gradonačelnici koji danas stoluju u Banovini, Miličić je rukovodio velikim gradskim projektima kao što je izgradnja naselja nebodera - Split 3. U Miličićevom mandatu od 1967. do 1974., izgrađeno je više stanova nego što ih je bilo podignuto od Dioklecijana do Drugoga svjetskog rata!

- Trebalo je tada znati graditi grad, a ne stanove. Split 3 je rezultat jednog vremena u kojem se poklopilo stvaralaštvo, ambicija i napredak. Bilo je to vrijeme kada je takav golem projekt, usuđujem se reći, mogao realizirati samo - Split - kazao je Miličić 2018. godine na otvaranju izložbe "Pedeset godina Splita 3". 

Zato je Split u Miličićevo vrijeme iz malog prerastao u velo misto, u pravi grad, doživjevši nevjerojatnu demografsku ekspanziju. U šjor Jakšino doba udareni su temelji sportskim objektima i planiranju Mediteranskih igara koje će se održati 1979. i do danas ostati najveća i najuglednija sportska smotra upriličena u Splitu.

Jakša Miličić, danas poznati znanstvenik s najvišim referencijama, u djetinjstvu je bio pravi mangup. Tijekom osnovnog i srednjoškolskog obrazovanja, pratile su ga loše ocjene, a kako je istaknuo u svojoj autobiografiji "U znaku rada i grada", vjerojatno ne bi bio ni položio "malu maturu" da nije bilo talijanske okupacije i odluke da se svim učenicima "progleda kroz prste" pa "posuše pusti asi".

Na pitanje tko su im uzori, a kad je riječ o funkciji gradonačelnika Splita, politički suparnici Vice Mihanović i Ivica Puljak dali su logične odgovore. Mihanović je tipovao imenjaka Vicka Mihaljevića. Ta, sjetite se kako mu se u Velom Mistu obraćala žestoka baba Marta: "...a ti, Vice mali, zapametit ćeš ti mene".

Pravaš Vicko Mihaljević ili kako su to stari Splićani izgovarali - Mi'aljević, jer čakavcima i ikavcima "h" teško prelazi preko jezika, šefovao je Splitom od 1907. do 1911., godine u kojoj je osnovan Ajduk. Bio je jedan od prvaka hrvatskog narodnog preporoda. Budio je usnulu svijest Splićana o pripadanju hrvatskom korpusu jer se u to doba u nas, s velikim zakašnjenjem u odnosu na Europu, još formiraju nacije.

Odvjetnik Mihaljević, kojeg je u kultnoj seriji "Velo misto" sjajno utjelovio zagrebački glumac Boris Buzančić, bavio se književnošću i brinuo o splitskim oriđinalima. Ljudi s margine su ga zato obožavali. Pod pseudonimom Neurastenicus pisao je zafrkanske pjesmice, ali i one ozbiljne, patriotske, u kojima je slavio dom i domovinu. Godine 2005. godine reizdana je njegova zbirka "Pregršt sušnja", uz pogovore jezikoslovca Radovana Vidovića i Tonka Maroevića. Mihaljević je umro u svojoj pedesetoj godini; 1911.

Ako su PR stručnjaci uoči kampanje prišapnuli Mihanoviću da bi mu bilo dobro koji put spomenuti nacionalno osviještenog dotura Vicu, ni Ivica Puljak osobno, ili njegovi savjetnici, nisu pogriješili kad su Jakšu Miličića, najznamenitijeg splitskog gradonačelnika novog doba, istaknuli kao nekoga čiju utabanu stazu treba slijediti.

Vitalnog, devededesetpetogodišnjeg prof. dr. Jakšu Miličića, povijest će upamtiti kao jednog od najuspješnijih splitskih gradonačelnika. Kao predsjednik Skupštine općine Split, koja je bila daleko veća od područja za koje su odgovorni gradonačelnici koji danas stoluju u Banovini, Miličić je rukovodio velikim gradskim projektima kao što je izgradnja naselja nebodera - Split 3. U Miličićevom mandatu od 1967. do 1974., izgrađeno je više stanova nego što ih je bilo podignuto od Dioklecijana do Drugoga svjetskog rata!

- Trebalo je tada znati graditi grad, a ne stanove. Split 3 je rezultat jednog vremena u kojem se poklopilo stvaralaštvo, ambicija i napredak. Bilo je to vrijeme kada je takav golem projekt, usuđujem se reći, mogao realizirati samo - Split - kazao je Miličić 2018. godine na otvaranju izložbe "Pedeset godina Splita 3". 

Zato je Split u Miličićevo vrijeme iz malog prerastao u velo misto, u pravi grad, doživjevši nevjerojatnu demografsku ekspanziju. U šjor Jakšino doba udareni su temelji sportskim objektima i planiranju Mediteranskih igara koje će se održati 1979. i do danas ostati najveća i najuglednija sportska smotra upriličena u Splitu.

Jakša Miličić, danas poznati znanstvenik s najvišim referencijama, u djetinjstvu je bio pravi mangup. Tijekom osnovnog i srednjoškolskog obrazovanja, pratile su ga loše ocjene, a kako je istaknuo u svojoj autobiografiji "U znaku rada i grada", vjerojatno ne bi bio ni položio "malu maturu" da nije bilo talijanske okupacije i odluke da se svim učenicima "progleda kroz prste" pa "posuše pusti asi".
