Set će u prodaju zajedno s fotografijom uličnog znaka koja je korištena na stražnjem omotu albuma.

Fotografije je snimio Iain Macmillan, prijatelj Johna Lennona i Yoko Ono, 8. kolovoza 1969. Imao je fotoaparat, ljestve i deset minuta. Uspio ih je napraviti šest.

McCartney je odabrao petu od šest fotografija za omot albuma budući da su sva četvorica na njoj u koraku i lijepo poredana.

"One su nevjerojatno rijetke", istaknula je Sarah Wheeler, šef fotografije u aukcijskoj kući "Bloomsbury Auctions". "Razgovarala sam s drugim glazbenim trgovcima i nitko nije uspio naći kompletan set na tržištu najmanje deset godina".

Macmillan je napravio 25 dodatnih primjeraka svake fotografije, ali najviše su se prodavale pojedinačno, dodala je.

Uz taj set, aukcijska kuća će prodavati fotografiju na stražnjem omotu albuma što se Macmillanu nije isprva svidjelo - naime, živciralo ga je što je djevojka u plavoj haljini ušetala u snimak.

Gotovo sve vezano za Abbey Road fotografiju postalo je poznato, a bijela Volkswagen buba završila je u Volkswagen muzeju u Njemačkoj.

Teorije urote i tajne poruke

Omot albuma inspirirao je brojne imitacije te su o njemu smišljene brojne bizarne teorije urote, poput one da je Paul McCartney zapravo mrtav te da ga je zamijenio dubler.

Teoretičari su tvrdili da postoje tajne poruke na omotu - poput one da fotografija podsjeća na pogrebnu povorku te da Paul drži cigaretu u desnoj (krivoj) ruci, a zna se da je ljevak.

Abbey Road posljednji je album koji su Beatlesi snimili, ali je nakon njega 1970. izdan još "Let It Be". Smatra se jednim od njihovih najboljih albuma i jednim od vrhunaca rock glazbe uopće.

Fotografije je snimio Iain Macmillan, prijatelj Johna Lennona i Yoko Ono, 8. kolovoza 1969. Imao je fotoaparat, ljestve i deset minuta. Uspio ih je napraviti šest.

McCartney je odabrao petu od šest fotografija za omot albuma budući da su sva četvorica na njoj u koraku i lijepo poredana.

"One su nevjerojatno rijetke", istaknula je Sarah Wheeler, šef fotografije u aukcijskoj kući "Bloomsbury Auctions". "Razgovarala sam s drugim glazbenim trgovcima i nitko nije uspio naći kompletan set na tržištu najmanje deset godina".

Macmillan je napravio 25 dodatnih primjeraka svake fotografije, ali najviše su se prodavale pojedinačno, dodala je.

Uz taj set, aukcijska kuća će prodavati fotografiju na stražnjem omotu albuma što se Macmillanu nije isprva svidjelo - naime, živciralo ga je što je djevojka u plavoj haljini ušetala u snimak.

Gotovo sve vezano za Abbey Road fotografiju postalo je poznato, a bijela Volkswagen buba završila je u Volkswagen muzeju u Njemačkoj.

Teorije urote i tajne poruke

Omot albuma inspirirao je brojne imitacije te su o njemu smišljene brojne bizarne teorije urote, poput one da je Paul McCartney zapravo mrtav te da ga je zamijenio dubler.

Teoretičari su tvrdili da postoje tajne poruke na omotu - poput one da fotografija podsjeća na pogrebnu povorku te da Paul drži cigaretu u desnoj (krivoj) ruci, a zna se da je ljevak.

Abbey Road posljednji je album koji su Beatlesi snimili, ali je nakon njega 1970. izdan još "Let It Be". Smatra se jednim od njihovih najboljih albuma i jednim od vrhunaca rock glazbe uopće.
