Pjevačica Jade Thirlwall, jedna od djevojaka iz grupe Little Mix, progovorila je nedavno za britanske medije o svojoj stravičnoj borbi s anoreksijom.
Iako ju je dotad smatrala "svojom mračnom tajnom", u intervjuu za podcast BBC-ja Jade govori kako je odlučila sve podijeliti s javnošću, želeći osvijestiti i svoje obožavatelje o eventualnim problemima s prehranom, za koje velika većina ni ne shvati na vrijeme koliko su ozbiljni.
Cijelog se života, kaže, borila s "viškom kilograma" i pokušavala kontrolirati svoje porcije. No njena je opsesija hranom došla do toga da je shvatila kako treba stručnu pomoć - "mušice" poput unutarnjeg glasića koji joj je govorio "Nemoj to jesti" ili "Nemoj se gledati u zrcalo", dovele su ju do stanja u kojemu nitko nije znao što se s njom događa.
"Jednostavno me to sve počelo deprimirati. Trenutak u kojemu sam odlučila potražiti pomoć onaj je u kojemu sam se umorila od toga da konstantno mrzim samu sebe", priznala je Jade i rekla da je tada posjetila liječnika.
Bilo je to u njenim tinejdžerskim godinama. Jade je od anoreksije bolovala punih pet godina, a prolazila je razne faze između prejedanja i nejedenja uopće, depresije i konstantne samokritike.
U podcastu pod nazivom "Znam kako je: Jade Thirlwall i anoreksija" priča i o stravičnoj poruci kojom su ju liječnici trgnuli iz njene bolesti. Pjevačica koju je proslavila audicija u "X Factoru" iz koje je iznikla grupa "Little Mix" danas je, kaže, izliječena, a za sve je zaslužan njen doktor.
"Doktor mi je rekao da ću umrijeti ako nastavim tako živjeti", priznala je ona. Ta ju je, jedna jedina, rečenica, dodaje, prisilila da počne jesti više.
A dovela se do stanja u kojemu su joj se vidjela rebra i u kojemu je morala nositi široku odjeću kako bi prikrila svoje pretjerano mršavo tijelo. Danas izgleda potpuno drugačije, a kaže da je svojim liječnicima zahvalna svaki dan.
Kako bi izdržala zahtjevne i fizički iscrpljujuće nastupe, Jade uz pravilnu prehranu često i trenira.
O svojoj borbi s anoreksijom otvoreno su progovorile brojne poznate osobe, između ostalih Portia de Rossi, Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham i Jane Fonda.
Neke od njih izlaz su pronašle u vježbanju, druge su se okrenule poslu, no svima je zajednička jedna stvar - u trenutku u kojemu više nisu mogle izdržati pomisao na svoje tijelo, potražile su stručnu pomoć liječnika.
Od anoreksije, bulimije i nespecifičnih poremećaja hranjenja u Hrvatskoj boluje više od 40.000 osoba, većinom djevojčica i mladih žena od 12 do 30 godina, a njihov broj raste iz godine u godinu, upozorava BEA, Centar za poremećaje hranjenja.

Pjevačica Jade Thirlwall, jedna od djevojaka iz grupe Little Mix, progovorila je nedavno za britanske medije o svojoj stravičnoj borbi s anoreksijom.
Iako ju je dotad smatrala "svojom mračnom tajnom", u intervjuu za podcast BBC-ja Jade govori kako je odlučila sve podijeliti s javnošću, želeći osvijestiti i svoje obožavatelje o eventualnim problemima s prehranom, za koje velika većina ni ne shvati na vrijeme koliko su ozbiljni.
Cijelog se života, kaže, borila s "viškom kilograma" i pokušavala kontrolirati svoje porcije. No njena je opsesija hranom došla do toga da je shvatila kako treba stručnu pomoć - "mušice" poput unutarnjeg glasića koji joj je govorio "Nemoj to jesti" ili "Nemoj se gledati u zrcalo", dovele su ju do stanja u kojemu nitko nije znao što se s njom događa.
"Jednostavno me to sve počelo deprimirati. Trenutak u kojemu sam odlučila potražiti pomoć onaj je u kojemu sam se umorila od toga da konstantno mrzim samu sebe", priznala je Jade i rekla da je tada posjetila liječnika.
Bilo je to u njenim tinejdžerskim godinama. Jade je od anoreksije bolovala punih pet godina, a prolazila je razne faze između prejedanja i nejedenja uopće, depresije i konstantne samokritike.
U podcastu pod nazivom "Znam kako je: Jade Thirlwall i anoreksija" priča i o stravičnoj poruci kojom su ju liječnici trgnuli iz njene bolesti. Pjevačica koju je proslavila audicija u "X Factoru" iz koje je iznikla grupa "Little Mix" danas je, kaže, izliječena, a za sve je zaslužan njen doktor.
"Doktor mi je rekao da ću umrijeti ako nastavim tako živjeti", priznala je ona. Ta ju je, jedna jedina, rečenica, dodaje, prisilila da počne jesti više.
A dovela se do stanja u kojemu su joj se vidjela rebra i u kojemu je morala nositi široku odjeću kako bi prikrila svoje pretjerano mršavo tijelo. Danas izgleda potpuno drugačije, a kaže da je svojim liječnicima zahvalna svaki dan.
Kako bi izdržala zahtjevne i fizički iscrpljujuće nastupe, Jade uz pravilnu prehranu često i trenira.
O svojoj borbi s anoreksijom otvoreno su progovorile brojne poznate osobe, između ostalih Portia de Rossi, Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham i Jane Fonda.
Neke od njih izlaz su pronašle u vježbanju, druge su se okrenule poslu, no svima je zajednička jedna stvar - u trenutku u kojemu više nisu mogle izdržati pomisao na svoje tijelo, potražile su stručnu pomoć liječnika.
Od anoreksije, bulimije i nespecifičnih poremećaja hranjenja u Hrvatskoj boluje više od 40.000 osoba, većinom djevojčica i mladih žena od 12 do 30 godina, a njihov broj raste iz godine u godinu, upozorava BEA, Centar za poremećaje hranjenja.
