Povratak 'glupih mobitela' poznate i kao 'cigle' počeo je  relaunchom Nokie 3310 prije pet godina.

Sedamnaestogodišnjakinja Robin West odskače od većine svojih vršnjaka, ona naime, nema pametni telefon. Umjesto da cijeli dan skrola kroz aplikacije poput TikToka i Instagrama, ona koristi takozvani “dumbphone”, javlja BBC. 

U pitanju su telefoni s vrlo ograničenim funkcijama ako ih usporedimo s primjerice iPhoneom, piše poslovni.hr.

To su telefoni s kojih možete samo upućivati ​​i primati pozive i SMS poruke ili eventualno slušati radio i fotografirati, ali se putem njega ne možete povezivati ​​s internetom ni aplikacijama. Slični su nekima od prvih mobilnih uređaja koji su se kupovali krajem 90-ih.

Kako kaže West, odluku da odbaci pametni telefon prije dvije godine donijela je spontano, dok je tražila zamjenski u second hand trgovini joj je pažnju privukla niska cijena “cigla mobitela”.

Njezin trenutni telefon francuske tvrtke MobiWire koštao ju je samo 8 funti, a budući da nema funkciju pametnog telefona, nema više ni skupih račun za prijenos podataka na mjesečnoj bazi.

“Nisam primijetila sve dok nisam kupila ovaj telefon koliko je moj pametni telefon preuzeo moj život. Imala sam puno aplikacija za društvene mreže na njemu i nisam stigla obaviti toliko posla jer sam uvijek bila na telefonu”, objašnjava West i napominje kako se ne planira vratiti pametnim telefonima jer je “zadovoljna svojom ciglom” iako se mnogi njeni vršnjaci i dalje ne mogu načuditi njenom izboru.

Inače, i trendovi pokazuju kako takvi mobiteli prolaze kroz pravi revival. Prema izvješću softverske tvrtke SEMrush, Google pretraga za njima skočila je za 89% između 2018.godine  i 2021.godine.

Iako je do podataka o prodaji teško doći, jedno izvješće pokazuje da je globalna kupnja glupih telefona u 2019.godini bila na razini od oko 400 milijuna primjeraka, a ta se brojka u 2021. godini popela na milijardu komada. Prošlogodišnja Deloitteova studija otkrila je da jedan od deset korisnika u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu ima “glupi telefon”.

“Čini se da moda, nostalgija i to što se pojavljuju u TikTok videozapisima ima veliku ulogu u oživljavanju 'glupih telefona', kaže Ernest Doku, stručnjak za mobilne uređaje. .

Doku objašnjava kako je relaunch Nokijinog telefona 3310 iz 2017. godine kao jednog od najprodavanijih mobitela svih vremena potaknuo ovaj trend. Dodaje da iako je istina da ‘glupi telefoni’ ne mogu konkurirati najnovijim premium Apple i Samsung modelima kada su u pitanju performanse ili funkcionalnost, ali ih zato “mogu ih zasjeniti u važnim područjima poput trajanja baterije i izdržljivosti”.

Osim tih prednosti, korisnici koji su odustali od pametnih telefona napominju kako im je to uvelike pomoglo jer sad imaju više vremena što za sebe, što za prijatelje i obitelj i više nisu ovisni o sheranju, komentiranju i opisivanju svoje svakodnevice drugima čime automatski dobivaju i više privatnosti.

Jedan od proizvođača ‘glupih telefona’ je njujorška tvrtka Light Phone koja nudi nešto ‘pametniji’ aparat od standarda za takve proizvode. Naime, njihovi telefoni čije se cijene kreću od stotine dolara naviše dopuštaju korisnicima slušanje glazbe i podcasta, te povezivanje Bluetoothom sa slušalicama.

Kako objašnjava Kaiwei Tang, jedan od osnivača Light Phonea, uređaj je prvotno stvoren s idejom da bude sekundarni telefon onima koji žele odmoriti od svog pametnog telefona tijekom vikenda, ali danas ga polovica njihovih kupaca koristi kao primarni uređaj. Iznenađuje i podatak da je većina njihovih kupaca u dobi između 25 i 35 godina, objavio je poslovni.hr.

Sedamnaestogodišnjakinja Robin West odskače od većine svojih vršnjaka, ona naime, nema pametni telefon. Umjesto da cijeli dan skrola kroz aplikacije poput TikToka i Instagrama, ona koristi takozvani “dumbphone”, javlja BBC. 

U pitanju su telefoni s vrlo ograničenim funkcijama ako ih usporedimo s primjerice iPhoneom, piše poslovni.hr.

To su telefoni s kojih možete samo upućivati ​​i primati pozive i SMS poruke ili eventualno slušati radio i fotografirati, ali se putem njega ne možete povezivati ​​s internetom ni aplikacijama. Slični su nekima od prvih mobilnih uređaja koji su se kupovali krajem 90-ih.

Kako kaže West, odluku da odbaci pametni telefon prije dvije godine donijela je spontano, dok je tražila zamjenski u second hand trgovini joj je pažnju privukla niska cijena “cigla mobitela”.

Njezin trenutni telefon francuske tvrtke MobiWire koštao ju je samo 8 funti, a budući da nema funkciju pametnog telefona, nema više ni skupih račun za prijenos podataka na mjesečnoj bazi.

“Nisam primijetila sve dok nisam kupila ovaj telefon koliko je moj pametni telefon preuzeo moj život. Imala sam puno aplikacija za društvene mreže na njemu i nisam stigla obaviti toliko posla jer sam uvijek bila na telefonu”, objašnjava West i napominje kako se ne planira vratiti pametnim telefonima jer je “zadovoljna svojom ciglom” iako se mnogi njeni vršnjaci i dalje ne mogu načuditi njenom izboru.

Inače, i trendovi pokazuju kako takvi mobiteli prolaze kroz pravi revival. Prema izvješću softverske tvrtke SEMrush, Google pretraga za njima skočila je za 89% između 2018.godine  i 2021.godine.

Iako je do podataka o prodaji teško doći, jedno izvješće pokazuje da je globalna kupnja glupih telefona u 2019.godini bila na razini od oko 400 milijuna primjeraka, a ta se brojka u 2021. godini popela na milijardu komada. Prošlogodišnja Deloitteova studija otkrila je da jedan od deset korisnika u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu ima “glupi telefon”.

“Čini se da moda, nostalgija i to što se pojavljuju u TikTok videozapisima ima veliku ulogu u oživljavanju 'glupih telefona', kaže Ernest Doku, stručnjak za mobilne uređaje. .

Doku objašnjava kako je relaunch Nokijinog telefona 3310 iz 2017. godine kao jednog od najprodavanijih mobitela svih vremena potaknuo ovaj trend. Dodaje da iako je istina da ‘glupi telefoni’ ne mogu konkurirati najnovijim premium Apple i Samsung modelima kada su u pitanju performanse ili funkcionalnost, ali ih zato “mogu ih zasjeniti u važnim područjima poput trajanja baterije i izdržljivosti”.

Osim tih prednosti, korisnici koji su odustali od pametnih telefona napominju kako im je to uvelike pomoglo jer sad imaju više vremena što za sebe, što za prijatelje i obitelj i više nisu ovisni o sheranju, komentiranju i opisivanju svoje svakodnevice drugima čime automatski dobivaju i više privatnosti.

Jedan od proizvođača ‘glupih telefona’ je njujorška tvrtka Light Phone koja nudi nešto ‘pametniji’ aparat od standarda za takve proizvode. Naime, njihovi telefoni čije se cijene kreću od stotine dolara naviše dopuštaju korisnicima slušanje glazbe i podcasta, te povezivanje Bluetoothom sa slušalicama.

Kako objašnjava Kaiwei Tang, jedan od osnivača Light Phonea, uređaj je prvotno stvoren s idejom da bude sekundarni telefon onima koji žele odmoriti od svog pametnog telefona tijekom vikenda, ali danas ga polovica njihovih kupaca koristi kao primarni uređaj. Iznenađuje i podatak da je većina njihovih kupaca u dobi između 25 i 35 godina, objavio je poslovni.hr.
