Sigurno nema čovjeka - pogotovo zrelije dobi - koji se noću katkad nije prevrtao u krevetu i u nesanici, u sitne sate razmišljao o životu i smrti.

Zapitao se koliko mu je još preostalo i kako izgleda kraj. Iako nitko ne može dati točan odgovor na ova pitanja, znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta Tilburg i Erasmus Rotterdam odlučili su ispitati maksimalnu gornju granicu životnog vijeka i otkriti koliko teoretski može trajati ljudski život, piše National Geographic.

Do odgovora su došli prikupivši podatke o točnom vremenu smrti i starosti oko 75 tisuća Nizozemaca. Rezultat je pokazao da je maksimalna gornja granica za muškarce oko 114,1, dok je za žene nešto viša i iznosi 115,7 godina.

Jedan od glavnih autora studije, profesor John Einmall, statističar, objasnio je da se životni vijek produžio posljednjih desetljeća, ali da je na temelju dobivenih rezultata očito da se maksimalna gornja granica nije pomaknula.

Prije svega zato što se ovdje ne radi o očekivanom životnom vijeku, već o životnom vijeku prema kojemu se određuje koliko dugo može trajati život, ako čovjek pazi na svoje zdravlje.

Također, treba napomenuti da ovo nije jedina studija koja se bavila maksimalnom gornjom granicom životnog vijeka osobe te da su i druge studije dale gotovo identične rezultate.

Mišljenje je stručnjaka da se u budućnosti neće puno povećavati u odnosu na spomenute granice od 114,1 i 115,7 godina. Ali ono što svakako raste - barem u Nizozemskoj - je broj ljudi koji su doživjeli 95 godina. On se utrostručio.

U Njemačkoj rekordan broj stogodišnjaka

U međuvremenu, njemački Ured za statistiku navodi da je broj stogodišnjaka trenutno - rekordan.

Diljem svijeta broj ljudi koji su napunili 100 godina porastao je na 533.000 u 2019. godini, što znači da se taj broj gotovo učetverostručio od početka stoljeća.

2001. godine u svijetu je, prema procjeni Ujedinjenih naroda, bilo 151.000 stogodišnjaka.

Porast broja ljudi u dobi od 100 i više godina odražava se i na globalnu populaciju: 2000. godine na milijun ljudi bilo je 25 stogodišnjaka, dok je 2019. taj broj porastao na 69 stogodišnjaka na milijun ljudi.

80 posto su žene

Oko 80 posto osoba u stotoj i preko stote su žene.

Neki znanstvenici drže da se svijet suočava s novim globalnim trendom povećanja broja starih ljudi, što će dovesti do niza društvenih promjena.

Naime, 1950. godine ni jedna država nije imala više od 11 posto stanovništva starijeg od 65 godina. 2000. godine taj se broj povećao na 18 posto, a do 2050. godine znanstvenici predviđaju da će čak 38 posto ukupnog stanovništva biti starije od spomenute dobi. Svijet će uskoro imati više umirovljenika nego djece.

Provedena su stoga brojna ekonomska istraživanja koja predviđaju veliko opterećenje mirovinskih fondova a bit će u problemima i i zdravstvo, gospodarstvo, radno sposobno stanovništvo i mnogi drugi aspekti modernog društva.

Stoga, vrijeme je za traženje rješenja. Očito se nećemo susretati sa superstarcima koji su navršili 150 godina, ali bit će sve više stogodišnjaka kojima će trebati adekvatna skrb.

Pravila, ipak, nema

Inače, superstogodišnjaci su već dulje vrijeme u fokusu interesa znanstvenika.To su osobe koje su prešle dob od 110 godina i iznimno su rijetke. Samo jedan od tisuću ljudi koji je uhvatio stotu, ima šanse dočekati i 110 rođendan.

Lani je u Japanu umrla je 116-godišnja Kane Tanaka, koja je do smrti bila službeno najstarija na svijetu. Život je baš nije mazio. Rođena je kao nedonošče i nije se očekivalo da će preživjeti. Kćeri su joj umrle u ranoj dobi, a od dvojice sinova jednog je godinama čekala (i dočekala) da se vrati iz zarobljeništva u Sibiru. Preboljela je paratifus te karcinom gušterače i karcinom debelog crijeva.

S mužem je držala prodavaonicu tradicionalnih japanskih rezanaca, a u mirovinu je otišla u šezdeset trećoj. Svoju dugovječnost pripisala je vjeri, obitelji, dovoljnoj količini sna, kvalitetnoj prehrani i - matematici. Rješavanje aritmetičkih zadataka kao i kaligrafija i društvene igre do pred kraj su joj bili omiljeni hobiji.

Sigurno nema čovjeka - pogotovo zrelije dobi - koji se noću katkad nije prevrtao u krevetu i u nesanici, u sitne sate razmišljao o životu i smrti.

Zapitao se koliko mu je još preostalo i kako izgleda kraj. Iako nitko ne može dati točan odgovor na ova pitanja, znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta Tilburg i Erasmus Rotterdam odlučili su ispitati maksimalnu gornju granicu životnog vijeka i otkriti koliko teoretski može trajati ljudski život, piše National Geographic.

Do odgovora su došli prikupivši podatke o točnom vremenu smrti i starosti oko 75 tisuća Nizozemaca. Rezultat je pokazao da je maksimalna gornja granica za muškarce oko 114,1, dok je za žene nešto viša i iznosi 115,7 godina.

Jedan od glavnih autora studije, profesor John Einmall, statističar, objasnio je da se životni vijek produžio posljednjih desetljeća, ali da je na temelju dobivenih rezultata očito da se maksimalna gornja granica nije pomaknula.

Prije svega zato što se ovdje ne radi o očekivanom životnom vijeku, već o životnom vijeku prema kojemu se određuje koliko dugo može trajati život, ako čovjek pazi na svoje zdravlje.

Također, treba napomenuti da ovo nije jedina studija koja se bavila maksimalnom gornjom granicom životnog vijeka osobe te da su i druge studije dale gotovo identične rezultate.

Mišljenje je stručnjaka da se u budućnosti neće puno povećavati u odnosu na spomenute granice od 114,1 i 115,7 godina. Ali ono što svakako raste - barem u Nizozemskoj - je broj ljudi koji su doživjeli 95 godina. On se utrostručio.

U Njemačkoj rekordan broj stogodišnjaka

U međuvremenu, njemački Ured za statistiku navodi da je broj stogodišnjaka trenutno - rekordan.

Diljem svijeta broj ljudi koji su napunili 100 godina porastao je na 533.000 u 2019. godini, što znači da se taj broj gotovo učetverostručio od početka stoljeća.

2001. godine u svijetu je, prema procjeni Ujedinjenih naroda, bilo 151.000 stogodišnjaka.

Porast broja ljudi u dobi od 100 i više godina odražava se i na globalnu populaciju: 2000. godine na milijun ljudi bilo je 25 stogodišnjaka, dok je 2019. taj broj porastao na 69 stogodišnjaka na milijun ljudi.

80 posto su žene

Oko 80 posto osoba u stotoj i preko stote su žene.

Neki znanstvenici drže da se svijet suočava s novim globalnim trendom povećanja broja starih ljudi, što će dovesti do niza društvenih promjena.

Naime, 1950. godine ni jedna država nije imala više od 11 posto stanovništva starijeg od 65 godina. 2000. godine taj se broj povećao na 18 posto, a do 2050. godine znanstvenici predviđaju da će čak 38 posto ukupnog stanovništva biti starije od spomenute dobi. Svijet će uskoro imati više umirovljenika nego djece.

Provedena su stoga brojna ekonomska istraživanja koja predviđaju veliko opterećenje mirovinskih fondova a bit će u problemima i i zdravstvo, gospodarstvo, radno sposobno stanovništvo i mnogi drugi aspekti modernog društva.

Stoga, vrijeme je za traženje rješenja. Očito se nećemo susretati sa superstarcima koji su navršili 150 godina, ali bit će sve više stogodišnjaka kojima će trebati adekvatna skrb.

Pravila, ipak, nema

Inače, superstogodišnjaci su već dulje vrijeme u fokusu interesa znanstvenika.To su osobe koje su prešle dob od 110 godina i iznimno su rijetke. Samo jedan od tisuću ljudi koji je uhvatio stotu, ima šanse dočekati i 110 rođendan.

Lani je u Japanu umrla je 116-godišnja Kane Tanaka, koja je do smrti bila službeno najstarija na svijetu. Život je baš nije mazio. Rođena je kao nedonošče i nije se očekivalo da će preživjeti. Kćeri su joj umrle u ranoj dobi, a od dvojice sinova jednog je godinama čekala (i dočekala) da se vrati iz zarobljeništva u Sibiru. Preboljela je paratifus te karcinom gušterače i karcinom debelog crijeva.

S mužem je držala prodavaonicu tradicionalnih japanskih rezanaca, a u mirovinu je otišla u šezdeset trećoj. Svoju dugovječnost pripisala je vjeri, obitelji, dovoljnoj količini sna, kvalitetnoj prehrani i - matematici. Rješavanje aritmetičkih zadataka kao i kaligrafija i društvene igre do pred kraj su joj bili omiljeni hobiji.
