Za današnje doba govori se da je narcističko, odnosno da živimo u kulturi narcisa i narcizma.
Narcisoidna osoba je ona koja ima visoko mišljenje o sebi, vjeruje da se sve vrti oko nje i da je samo ona bitna. Karakteristike egocentrične osobnosti su: nedostatak empatije, sebičnost, obmana, manipulacija, iskorištavanje.

1. Na početku se sve čini predobro da bi bilo istinito
Jedan od primarnih znakova narcisa je njihovo pretjerano laskanje na početku veze. Osoba se čini savršenom, a vi imate osjećaj kao da ste u bajci. Obasipa vas komplimentima, pažnjom, hipnotizira svojim šarmom i karizmom, ali i polako vas uvlači u svoju mrežu. Budući da narcis nije sposoban za suosjećanje, često dovodi ljude oko sebe u neugodan emocionalni položaj, koji stvara hladnoćom i ignoriranjem. To vas tjera da se pitate jeste li učinili nešto loše i postoji li nešto loše s vama. Tako narcis preuzima kontrolu. Cilj svih narcisa je kontrola nad ljudima i situacijama.
Ovo naravno nisu svi znakovi koji bi mogli utvrditi da je netko nasrcis, ali budući da su temeljni, trebali bi biti dovoljni da prepoznate narcisa u svojoj blizini ili u sebi samome.

Za današnje doba govori se da je narcističko, odnosno da živimo u kulturi narcisa i narcizma.
Narcisoidna osoba je ona koja ima visoko mišljenje o sebi, vjeruje da se sve vrti oko nje i da je samo ona bitna. Karakteristike egocentrične osobnosti su: nedostatak empatije, sebičnost, obmana, manipulacija, iskorištavanje.
Ovo je pet znakova da je vaš partner narcis.
1. Na početku se sve čini predobro da bi bilo istinito
Jedan od primarnih znakova narcisa je njihovo pretjerano laskanje na početku veze. Osoba se čini savršenom, a vi imate osjećaj kao da ste u bajci. Obasipa vas komplimentima, pažnjom, hipnotizira svojim šarmom i karizmom, ali i polako vas uvlači u svoju mrežu. Narcis to radi jer mora prikriti svoje pravo lice kako bi vas osvojio, piše Best Life, prenosi Sensa.
2. Misli da je superioran
Najlakše za provjeru je li vaš partner narcis jest promatrati njegov odnos s drugima. Narcis često misli da je superiorniji od drugih zbog svojih postignuća, bogatstva, statusa ili izgleda. Vjeruje da mu drugi zavide na uspjehu. Smatra kako zaslužuje poseban tretman i teško podnosi kritike.

3. Ne želi preuzeti krivnju i ne ispričava se
Jedno od obilježja narcizma je okrivljavanje drugih za sve i odbijanje preuzimanja odgovornosti. Naravno, to ukazuje i na emocionalnu nezrelost jer je narcis potpuno nezainteresiran za razvijanje empatije i učenje. Narcis vjeruje da je najpametniji, najljepši i da ima najbolje ideje, pa na ispriku ni ne pomišlja. Ispriku doživljava kao poniženje, nema sposobnost sagledavanja vlastitih propusta i pogrešaka.
4. Traži stalne pohvale
Narcisi apsolutno žude za komplimentima. Ljudi koji su narcisoidni često daju sve od sebe kako bi izmamili kompliment, ponekad ga čak i izravno traže. Narcis ima potrebu biti bolji od drugih kako bi se osjećao vrjednijim.

5. Ignorira vas
Budući da narcis nije sposoban za suosjećanje, često dovodi ljude oko sebe u neugodan emocionalni položaj, koji stvara hladnoćom i ignoriranjem. To vas tjera da se pitate jeste li učinili nešto loše i postoji li nešto loše s vama. Tako narcis preuzima kontrolu. Cilj svih narcisa je kontrola nad ljudima i situacijama.
Ovo naravno nisu svi znakovi koji bi mogli utvrditi da je netko nasrcis, ali budući da su temeljni, trebali bi biti dovoljni da prepoznate narcisa u svojoj blizini ili u sebi samome.
