Bobis je taman ulazio u trinaestu (u Splitu kažu "pegulastu") godinu postojanja kada su njihovi inženjeri i stručnjaci odlučili i kupili prvi stroj za topljenje čokolade. Bila je to senzacija! A kada se na policama potom pojavila prva čokoladna krafna - nastalo je apsolutno oduševljenje. Kako te 1962. godine, tako i danas.
Za one koji to ne znaju, ili one koji nisu imali tu sreću odrasti u Splitu, u gradu pod Marjanom nije nikakva sramota ući u razred zamazan čokoladom oko ustiju. Ne, dapače, to je donekle i statusni simbol. Obično izaziva uzdahe...
- Ajme, blago ti se, čokoladni krafen za marendu!
Na tome "blago ti se" slatkome blagu odrasle su generacije. I oni danas objašnjavaju mlađima od sebe proces kojim se uživa u čokoladnoj krafni. Dozvolite da pojasnimo i vama, korak po korak.
Prije svega - krafna je umotana u tvrdu čokoladu i pod dodirom ista krcka. Pomalo se raspukne, dozvoljavajući vam da lagano, sasvim lagano - odvojite sloj čokolade od slatkoga tijesta. Taj se dio jede zasebno, pri tome se, naravno, na dodir krafna grije, pa postoji realna šansa da ćete se isflekat, zamazat, ali to, ponavljamo, nije bitno.
E, sad slijedi ritual kojim se krafna jede - okolo. Griz po griz sa svih strana, osim u sredini. U sredini se nalazi ekstaza, slatka krema od slatkog šlaga, čiji okus nije moguće opisati - to morate probati, pa di puklo!
Na kraju procesa - polizati prste. Jedan po jedan, šteta da ostane.
Dobro, dobro, nema na čemu!
Slobodno krenite put Bobisa, a mi ćemo do tada iskoristiti vrijeme kako bismo vas naučili što je to krafna (splitski - krafen, op.a.). Nazivaju je i "pokladnicom", jer se tradicionalno izrađuje na Pokladni utorak. Slatki je to kolač od dizanog tijesta. Dizano tijesto, to znate, obično se peče u pećnicama, a legenda kaže da je jednom jedna zaljubljena kuharica na nekom europskom dvoru, maštajući o izabraniku srca svoga, umjesto u pećnicu - gotovu lopticu od tijesta ubacila u vrelu masnoću. Suze su joj stale u trenutku kada je okusila ono što je smatrala upropaštenim! Pokazalo se da je ukusnije nego pečeno.
Dakle, krafna se prži u ulju s obje strane, poput ekvatora po sredini nosi svjetliju crtu, znak da je dobro ispržena. Puni se marmeladom, raznim kremama, čokoladom, a ukrašava se šećerom u prahu. Osim splitske, naravno, ona se zalije čokoladom.

Guštali smo u njoj ka' da nema sutra
Nakon treninga uvijek proteinski shake, eventualno malo voća, pa onda po mesu i povrću. Vraga! Baterije ispražnjene nepreglednim kilometrima izveslanim u Kaštelanskom zalivu uvik smo sa posebnim guštom punili - Bobisovim čokoladnim krafnama. Cukar bi u roku odmah poskočija, a sav umor koji smo ćutili u leđima i nogama posta bi utoliko lakši. Da, tamo smo punili baterije, u Studentskom centru u Spinutu... A, kada bi kogod od veslačkih kolega prvi otiša "u spizu" i vratija se sa čokoladnim krafnama, odma bi ga pitali ima li ih još. Jerbo, malo smo razočaranja, ali onih težih poznavali kao onda kada bi u menzu uletili, a čokoladnih krafni - nestalo. Alternativa? Ni postojala. Ili krafne ili glad.
A, znalo bi se dogodit da bi nas ovaj šta je spizu učinija prije nas jer je ranije prista na ponton, opra brod (more bit da je i u skifu bija) lipo zna zafrkat.
Jer bi nam poručija "ima ih, ima kako ne". A, mi bi u miru prali i glancali osmerac ili četverac.
A ovi tukac bi se furbasto smija u sebi dok je tuka po krafnama, a sva ona čikolata bi mu se razlila po prstima i faci. Pa, kada bi ih satra onako cili isflekan, sta bi se smijat naglas dok je mućka jogurt kojim će zalit krafne.
Znali smo koja je ura. Šprint po iksicu, nije važno čija je. Moja, tvoja, od cure iz Hercegovine (te su iksice bile jače), nije bitno - samo vataj maglu i trči do menze.
A, tamo - ćorak! Dočekali bi nas čokoladni kolutovi na bilom papiru. Jasan dokaz da su krafne do maloprije tamo i bile.
Beštimali bi cilin putem nazad. Gladni i jidni. A onda bi nas na pontonu dočekale i trenerove beštimje šta smo škivali od pranja broda. Dupla muka!

Bobis je taman ulazio u trinaestu (u Splitu kažu "pegulastu") godinu postojanja kada su njihovi inženjeri i stručnjaci odlučili i kupili prvi stroj za topljenje čokolade. Bila je to senzacija! A kada se na policama potom pojavila prva čokoladna krafna - nastalo je apsolutno oduševljenje. Kako te 1962. godine, tako i danas.
Za one koji to ne znaju, ili one koji nisu imali tu sreću odrasti u Splitu, u gradu pod Marjanom nije nikakva sramota ući u razred zamazan čokoladom oko ustiju. Ne, dapače, to je donekle i statusni simbol. Obično izaziva uzdahe...
- Ajme, blago ti se, čokoladni krafen za marendu!
Na tome "blago ti se" slatkome blagu odrasle su generacije. I oni danas objašnjavaju mlađima od sebe proces kojim se uživa u čokoladnoj krafni. Dozvolite da pojasnimo i vama, korak po korak.
Prije svega - krafna je umotana u tvrdu čokoladu i pod dodirom ista krcka. Pomalo se raspukne, dozvoljavajući vam da lagano, sasvim lagano - odvojite sloj čokolade od slatkoga tijesta. Taj se dio jede zasebno, pri tome se, naravno, na dodir krafna grije, pa postoji realna šansa da ćete se isflekat, zamazat, ali to, ponavljamo, nije bitno.
E, sad slijedi ritual kojim se krafna jede - okolo. Griz po griz sa svih strana, osim u sredini. U sredini se nalazi ekstaza, slatka krema od slatkog šlaga, čiji okus nije moguće opisati - to morate probati, pa di puklo!
Na kraju procesa - polizati prste. Jedan po jedan, šteta da ostane.
Dobro, dobro, nema na čemu!
Slobodno krenite put Bobisa, a mi ćemo do tada iskoristiti vrijeme kako bismo vas naučili što je to krafna (splitski - krafen, op.a.). Nazivaju je i "pokladnicom", jer se tradicionalno izrađuje na Pokladni utorak. Slatki je to kolač od dizanog tijesta. Dizano tijesto, to znate, obično se peče u pećnicama, a legenda kaže da je jednom jedna zaljubljena kuharica na nekom europskom dvoru, maštajući o izabraniku srca svoga, umjesto u pećnicu - gotovu lopticu od tijesta ubacila u vrelu masnoću. Suze su joj stale u trenutku kada je okusila ono što je smatrala upropaštenim! Pokazalo se da je ukusnije nego pečeno.
Dakle, krafna se prži u ulju s obje strane, poput ekvatora po sredini nosi svjetliju crtu, znak da je dobro ispržena. Puni se marmeladom, raznim kremama, čokoladom, a ukrašava se šećerom u prahu. Osim splitske, naravno, ona se zalije čokoladom.

Guštali smo u njoj ka' da nema sutra
Nakon treninga uvijek proteinski shake, eventualno malo voća, pa onda po mesu i povrću. Vraga! Baterije ispražnjene nepreglednim kilometrima izveslanim u Kaštelanskom zalivu uvik smo sa posebnim guštom punili - Bobisovim čokoladnim krafnama. Cukar bi u roku odmah poskočija, a sav umor koji smo ćutili u leđima i nogama posta bi utoliko lakši. Da, tamo smo punili baterije, u Studentskom centru u Spinutu... A, kada bi kogod od veslačkih kolega prvi otiša "u spizu" i vratija se sa čokoladnim krafnama, odma bi ga pitali ima li ih još. Jerbo, malo smo razočaranja, ali onih težih poznavali kao onda kada bi u menzu uletili, a čokoladnih krafni - nestalo. Alternativa? Ni postojala. Ili krafne ili glad.
A, znalo bi se dogodit da bi nas ovaj šta je spizu učinija prije nas jer je ranije prista na ponton, opra brod (more bit da je i u skifu bija) lipo zna zafrkat.
Jer bi nam poručija "ima ih, ima kako ne". A, mi bi u miru prali i glancali osmerac ili četverac.
A ovi tukac bi se furbasto smija u sebi dok je tuka po krafnama, a sva ona čikolata bi mu se razlila po prstima i faci. Pa, kada bi ih satra onako cili isflekan, sta bi se smijat naglas dok je mućka jogurt kojim će zalit krafne.
Znali smo koja je ura. Šprint po iksicu, nije važno čija je. Moja, tvoja, od cure iz Hercegovine (te su iksice bile jače), nije bitno - samo vataj maglu i trči do menze.
A, tamo - ćorak! Dočekali bi nas čokoladni kolutovi na bilom papiru. Jasan dokaz da su krafne do maloprije tamo i bile.
Beštimali bi cilin putem nazad. Gladni i jidni. A onda bi nas na pontonu dočekale i trenerove beštimje šta smo škivali od pranja broda. Dupla muka!
