Nagli gubitak funkcije mozga uzrokovan poremećajem cirkulacije koja dovodi do nedovoljne opskrbe mozga kisikom i hranjivim tvarima stanje je koje nazivamo moždani udar. Najčešći simptomi koji ga prate su opušteno lice, slabost ruku i nejasan govor. Međutim, ovo nisu jedini simptomi kojih bismo trebali biti svjesni. Među nabrojenim postoji i onaj često zanemaren i neočekivan simptom kojeg možda i rjeđe svrstavamo među rizike za nastanak moždanog udara.
Vertigo
Vrtoglavica (vertigo) neugodan je osjećaj kružnog gibanja povezan s poteškoćama u održavanju ravnoteže ili položaja tijela. Ako se ponavlja, ovo stanje ne biste trebali zanemariti. Napadaj vrtoglavice može trajati nekoliko sekundi ili sati, a u ekstremnim slučajevima može potrajati danima.

Znakovi moždanog udara često se pojave iznenada, međutim, to ne znači da nemate vremena za djelovanje. Netko će iskusiti simptome kao što su glavobolja, utrnulost ili trnci nekoliko dana prije ozbiljnog moždanog udara. Čak i ako simptomi nestanu, potražite pomoć i savjet od struke.
Jedna od onih koji su ignorirali stanje vrtoglavice bila je Engleskinja Barbara Geraghty-Whitehead koja je ubrzo potom počela osjećati manjak motivacije i opću slabost.
- Uobičajeno bih stalno bila u pokretu, iskorištavajući slobodno vrijeme tijekom ljeta, međutim, odjednom sam se zatekla kako svako toliko sjedam uokolo, bez motivacije ni za što. Nagli gubitak funkcije mozga uzrokovan poremećajem cirkulacije koja dovodi do nedovoljne opskrbe mozga kisikom i hranjivim tvarima stanje je koje nazivamo moždani udar. Najčešći simptomi koji ga prate su opušteno lice, slabost ruku i nejasan govor. Međutim, ovo nisu jedini simptomi kojih bismo trebali biti svjesni. Među nabrojenim postoji i onaj često zanemaren i neočekivan simptom kojeg možda i rjeđe svrstavamo među rizike za nastanak moždanog udara.
Vertigo
Vrtoglavica (vertigo) neugodan je osjećaj kružnog gibanja povezan s poteškoćama u održavanju ravnoteže ili položaja tijela. Ako se ponavlja, ovo stanje ne biste trebali zanemariti. Napadaj vrtoglavice može trajati nekoliko sekundi ili sati, a u ekstremnim slučajevima može potrajati danima.

- Epizode vrtoglavice koje se ponavljaju trebaju liječničku pomoć jer mogu ukazivati na ozbiljno zdravstveno stanje. Ponavljajuće epizode vrtoglavice mogu biti prediktor moždanog udara - prenosi Živim.
Znakovi moždanog udara često se pojave iznenada, međutim, to ne znači da nemate vremena za djelovanje. Netko će iskusiti simptome kao što su glavobolja, utrnulost ili trnci nekoliko dana prije ozbiljnog moždanog udara. Čak i ako simptomi nestanu, potražite pomoć i savjet od struke.
Jedna od onih koji su ignorirali stanje vrtoglavice bila je Engleskinja Barbara Geraghty-Whitehead koja je ubrzo potom počela osjećati manjak motivacije i opću slabost.
- Uobičajeno bih stalno bila u pokretu, iskorištavajući slobodno vrijeme tijekom ljeta, međutim, odjednom sam se zatekla kako svako toliko sjedam uokolo, bez motivacije ni za što. Počela sam osjećati nalete vrućine. Budući da su svi simptomi, uključujući vrtoglavice, potrajali, obratila sam se liječniku - rekla je i dodala kako je nakon urađenih pretraga saznala da boluje od kronične mijeloične leukemije, piše Živim.
