Pfizer je u suradnji s hrvatskom i europskom agencijom za lijekove uputio pismo zdravstvenim radnicima o poremećajima vida, uključujući teški gubitak vida, i potrebi praćenja pedijatrijskih bolesnika za lijek Xalkori (krizotinib), objavio je HALMED.

Xalkori je lijek protiv raka koji se koristi kao monoterapija za liječenje odraslih s rakom pluća koji se naziva rak pluća nemalih stanica (NSCLC), u slučaju uznapredovale bolesti. Xalkori je od 15. rujna indiciran i u djece starije od 6 godina kao monoterapija za liječenje najmlađih bolesnika s limfomima.

U kliničkim ispitivanjima za lijek krizotinib uočen je rizik od poremećaja vida, koji je prijavljen u 61 posto pedijatrijskih bolesnika s određenim vrstama limfoma.

“Budući da pedijatrijski bolesnici mogu teže spontano primijetiti i prijaviti promjene vida, zdravstveni radnici trebaju obavijestiti bolesnike i njihove njegovatelje o simptomima poremećaja vida i riziku od gubitka vida te ih uputiti da se obrate svom liječniku ako se pojave navedeni simptomi.

Pedijatrijske bolesnike treba nadzirati zbog mogućih poremećaja vida. Prije početka primjene lijeka krizotinib potrebno je obaviti osnovni oftalmološki pregled, uz kontrolne preglede unutar mjesec dana, nakon toga svaka 3 mjeseca te nakon opažanja novih simptoma poremećaja vida.

U pedijatrijskih bolesnika potrebno je razmotriti smanjenje doze ako se pojave očni poremećaji 2. stupnja, a primjenu lijeka krizotinib treba trajno prekinuti pri 3. ili 4. stupnju poremećaja, osim ako se ne utvrdi neki drugi uzrok”, priopćila je u petak Hrvatska agencija za lijekove.

Pfizer je u suradnji s hrvatskom i europskom agencijom za lijekove uputio pismo zdravstvenim radnicima o poremećajima vida, uključujući teški gubitak vida, i potrebi praćenja pedijatrijskih bolesnika za lijek Xalkori (krizotinib), objavio je HALMED.

Xalkori je lijek protiv raka koji se koristi kao monoterapija za liječenje odraslih s rakom pluća koji se naziva rak pluća nemalih stanica (NSCLC), u slučaju uznapredovale bolesti. Xalkori je od 15. rujna indiciran i u djece starije od 6 godina kao monoterapija za liječenje najmlađih bolesnika s limfomima.

U kliničkim ispitivanjima za lijek krizotinib uočen je rizik od poremećaja vida, koji je prijavljen u 61 posto pedijatrijskih bolesnika s određenim vrstama limfoma.

“Budući da pedijatrijski bolesnici mogu teže spontano primijetiti i prijaviti promjene vida, zdravstveni radnici trebaju obavijestiti bolesnike i njihove njegovatelje o simptomima poremećaja vida i riziku od gubitka vida te ih uputiti da se obrate svom liječniku ako se pojave navedeni simptomi.

Pedijatrijske bolesnike treba nadzirati zbog mogućih poremećaja vida. Prije početka primjene lijeka krizotinib potrebno je obaviti osnovni oftalmološki pregled, uz kontrolne preglede unutar mjesec dana, nakon toga svaka 3 mjeseca te nakon opažanja novih simptoma poremećaja vida.

U pedijatrijskih bolesnika potrebno je razmotriti smanjenje doze ako se pojave očni poremećaji 2. stupnja, a primjenu lijeka krizotinib treba trajno prekinuti pri 3. ili 4. stupnju poremećaja, osim ako se ne utvrdi neki drugi uzrok”, priopćila je u petak Hrvatska agencija za lijekove.

Pfizer je u suradnji s hrvatskom i europskom agencijom za lijekove uputio pismo zdravstvenim radnicima o poremećajima vida, uključujući teški gubitak vida, i potrebi praćenja pedijatrijskih bolesnika za lijek Xalkori (krizotinib), objavio je HALMED.

Xalkori je lijek protiv raka koji se koristi kao monoterapija za liječenje odraslih s rakom pluća koji se naziva rak pluća nemalih stanica (NSCLC), u slučaju uznapredovale bolesti. Xalkori je od 15. rujna indiciran i u djece starije od 6 godina kao monoterapija za liječenje najmlađih bolesnika s limfomima.

U kliničkim ispitivanjima za lijek krizotinib uočen je rizik od poremećaja vida, koji je prijavljen u 61 posto pedijatrijskih bolesnika s određenim vrstama limfoma.
