Dok većina tek pažljivo osluškuje informacije koje stižu iz Ukrajine i Rusije, neki su se već pripremili u slučaju najgoreg scenarija: Trećeg svjetskog rata. Vijest da britanska kraljica Elizabeta II. ima napisan govor u slučaju novog rata iznenadila je mnoge, ali vjerojatno ne i dugogodišnje političare koji znaju da moraju biti pripremljeni za razne situacije. Naime, zna se, npr. u slučajevima smrti važnih osoba da se nakon službene objave smrti već nakon nekoliko minuta šalju unaprijed pripremljena priopćenja.

Elizabetin govor je izvorno napisan 1983. godine, za vrijeme Hladnog rata, a 2013. je otkriven u Nacionalnim arhivima. Određeni dijelovi govora su zastarjeli, ali se smatra da će njegova suština biti korištena ako dođe do Trećeg svjetskog rata. Evo teksta govora koji je objavio BBC:

"Nikada nisam zaboravila tugu koju sam osjećala dok sam tog kobnog dana 1939. godine slušala svog oca (George VI) kako govori da je počeo Drugi svjetski rat. Nisam ni slutila da ću jednog dana i ja morati kazati isto. Međutim, kakvi god užasi nas čekali, sve ono što nam je pomoglo da sačuvamo našu slobodu već dva puta tokom ovog stoljeća, će nam ponovo pomoći da preživimo.

Svi znamo da se sada suočavamo s opasnostima većim nego što su ikada bile. Neprijatelj nije vojnik s puškom niti avijatičar koji leti iznad naših gradova i sela, već zloupotrebljena tehnologija, koja ima smrtonosnu moć.

Stoga je moja poruka vama jednostavna. Pomozite onima koji ne mogu sami sebi pomoći, budite utjeha usamljenima i beskućnicima. Neka vaša obitelj pruži nadu onima kojima je ona potrebna. Dok se zajedno borimo protiv zla, pomolimo se za našu zemlju i ljude dobre volje, gdjegod bili. Bog vas blagoslovio."

Dok većina tek pažljivo osluškuje informacije koje stižu iz Ukrajine i Rusije, neki su se već pripremili u slučaju najgoreg scenarija: Trećeg svjetskog rata. Vijest da britanska kraljica Elizabeta II. ima napisan govor u slučaju novog rata iznenadila je mnoge, ali vjerojatno ne i dugogodišnje političare koji znaju da moraju biti pripremljeni za razne situacije. Elizabetin govor je izvorno napisan 1983. godine, za vrijeme Hladnog rata, a 2013. je otkriven u Nacionalnim arhivima. Određeni dijelovi govora su zastarjeli, ali se smatra da će njegova suština biti korištena ako dođe do Trećeg svjetskog rata. Evo teksta govora koji je objavio BBC:

"Nikada nisam zaboravila tugu koju sam osjećala dok sam tog kobnog dana 1939. godine slušala svog oca (George VI) kako govori da je počeo Drugi svjetski rat. Nisam ni slutila da ću jednog dana i ja morati kazati isto. Međutim, kakvi god užasi nas čekali, sve ono što nam je pomoglo da sačuvamo našu slobodu već dva puta tokom ovog stoljeća, će nam ponovo pomoći da preživimo.

Svi znamo da se sada suočavamo s opasnostima većim nego što su ikada bile. Neprijatelj nije vojnik s puškom niti avijatičar koji leti iznad naših gradova i sela, već zloupotrebljena tehnologija, koja ima smrtonosnu moć.

Stoga je moja poruka vama jednostavna. Pomozite onima koji ne mogu sami sebi pomoći, budite utjeha usamljenima i beskućnicima. Neka vaša obitelj pruži nadu onima kojima je ona potrebna. Dok se zajedno borimo protiv zla, pomolimo se za našu zemlju i ljude dobre volje, gdjegod bili. Bog vas blagoslovio."

Dok većina tek pažljivo osluškuje informacije koje stižu iz Ukrajine i Rusije, neki su se već pripremili u slučaju najgoreg scenarija: Trećeg svjetskog rata. Vijest da britanska kraljica Elizabeta II. ima napisan govor u slučaju novog rata iznenadila je mnoge, ali vjerojatno ne i dugogodišnje političare koji znaju da moraju biti pripremljeni za razne situacije.
