[fulltext] => Vegetarijanci su, prema istraživanju znanstvenika s Medicinskog sveučilišta u Grazu, generalno manje zdravi od osoba koje konzumiraju meso i mesne proizvode, unatoč tomu što u organizam unose manje količine alkoholnih pića, rjeđe su pušači i fizički su aktivniji od svojih prijatelja "mesoždera", prenosi britanski list Independent.
Nakon istraživanja provedenog na 1320 ispitanika austrijski su znanstvenici ustvrdili da osobe koje su iz svoje prehrane izbacile meso i mesne proizvode imaju više izgleda za razvoj fizičkih i mentalnih bolesti, da im je opća kvaliteta života lošija te da češće trebaju liječničku pomoć, unatoč, globalno gledajući zdravijem načinu života.
Iako prehranu Vegetarijanaca čine namirnice s manje zasićenih masnoća i kolesterola uslijed većeg unosa voća, povrća i proizvoda od cjelovitog zrnja, istraživanje pokazuje da su skloniji riziku od pojave raka, alergijama i mentalnim oboljenjima poput depresije i tjeskobe.
U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 330 Vegetarijanaca, 330 osoba koje su ponekad konzumirale meso ali zato veću količinu voća i povrća, 300 osoba koje su se hranile uravnoteženo, no konzumirale su manju količinu mesa i 330 onih u čijoj je prehrani meso bilo visoko zastupljeno.
Vegetarijanci su konzumirali manje količine alkohola, a indeks tjelesne mase bio im je niži, no unatoč tomu opće psihičko i fizičko zdravstveno stanje bilo im je lošije.
Sličan rezultat pokazao se i kod osoba koje su konzumirale manje količine mesa. Ustanovljeno je da su osobe koje su se hranile "zdravije" rjeđe odlazile na preventivne sistematske liječničke preglede te češće izbjegavale cijepljenja, što može biti jedan od uzroka njihova lošijeg zdravstvenog stanja.
Ekipa austrijskih znanstvenika koju je predvodila epidemiologinja dr. Nathalie Burkert odbacila je sve sugestije prema kojima je njihova studija tek reklama za mesnu industriju. Dr Burkert je rekla i kako je potrebno provesti dodatna istraživanja da bi se ustanovilo što je uzrok ovakvim rezultatima.

[text] => {OCMSplitter}Vegetarijanci su, prema istraživanju znanstvenika s Medicinskog sveučilišta u Grazu, generalno manje zdravi od osoba koje konzumiraju meso i mesne proizvode, unatoč tomu što u organizam unose manje količine alkoholnih pića, rjeđe su pušači i fizički su aktivniji od svojih prijatelja "mesoždera", prenosi britanski list Independent.
Nakon istraživanja provedenog na 1320 ispitanika austrijski su znanstvenici ustvrdili da osobe koje su iz svoje prehrane izbacile meso i mesne proizvode imaju više izgleda za razvoj fizičkih i mentalnih bolesti, da im je opća kvaliteta života lošija te da češće trebaju liječničku pomoć, unatoč, globalno gledajući zdravijem načinu života.
Iako prehranu Vegetarijanaca čine namirnice s manje zasićenih masnoća i kolesterola uslijed većeg unosa voća, povrća i proizvoda od cjelovitog zrnja, istraživanje pokazuje da su skloniji riziku od pojave raka, alergijama i mentalnim oboljenjima poput depresije i tjeskobe.
U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 330 Vegetarijanaca, 330 osoba koje su ponekad konzumirale meso ali zato veću količinu voća i povrća, 300 osoba koje su se hranile uravnoteženo, no konzumirale su manju količinu mesa i 330 onih u čijoj je prehrani meso bilo visoko zastupljeno.
Vegetarijanci su konzumirali manje količine alkohola, a indeks tjelesne mase bio im je niži, no unatoč tomu opće psihičko i fizičko zdravstveno stanje bilo im je lošije.
Sličan rezultat pokazao se i kod osoba koje su konzumirale manje količine mesa. Ustanovljeno je da su osobe koje su se hranile "zdravije" rjeđe odlazile na preventivne sistematske liječničke preglede te češće izbjegavale cijepljenja, što može biti jedan od uzroka njihova lošijeg zdravstvenog stanja.
Ekipa austrijskih znanstvenika koju je predvodila epidemiologinja dr. Nathalie Burkert odbacila je sve sugestije prema kojima je njihova studija tek reklama za mesnu industriju. Dr Burkert je rekla i kako je potrebno provesti dodatna istraživanja da bi se ustanovilo što je uzrok ovakvim rezultatima.
